Odorless. Sarin in its gaseous form is odorless.
The first thing you read about in the reports of the latest attack is the noxious smell.
A disrupted munitions storage facility would have an odor with the fumes. A planned sarin attack would not.

There are lots of problems with this gas attack.

1) The village was not far out in the styx, it was a place reachable by journalists. Assad wouldn't be likely to use gas in the current climate, but if he did it would not be where it would be found out.

2) First reports said witnesses saw sukhoi jets drop the gas. In fact a single source pumped that info heavily into hundreds of news sites which used the exact same quotes. Later reports contradicted this, saying witnesses saw missiles of some sort or something similar.

This is where I have been at the entire thread..the last time I checked, dropping bombs was enough. Sarin is just icing on the asshole cake. I will concur it's odd he would do this, but, somebody did this, and somebody with a plane, and access to copious amounts of sarin. That we cannot dispute; and those are all features of state actors. At the very least, not publically denouncing responsibility and denouncing this is bad optics.
