Hi guys,

I am a new miner that has some newbie questions... Hope someone can eventually chime in and shed some light!

This is my antminer s9 overview - how do I check the firmware version? Do I have the latest firmware installed correctly?

This is my s9 miner configuration.... I don't see the frequency anywhere... My unit is overheat now... what can I do?

As stated above, it is overheating now... and what i notice is that the HW is relatively high.. What does it mean?
How about the DiffA#, is that a serious "problem" too?

I sincerely thank you to anyone that replies me... Looking forward.

Regards,
Kenny

5k RPM is normal for a S9.
I doubt your miner is overheating and everything looks good to me.

Since everything seems to be running normally, I wouldn't bother touching the firmware.

You arent even close to overheating and your miner is running fine. Why do you think there is a problem?

Stop buying industrial miners, running them at home, and then complaining about the noise.

If you doubt about overheating try cooling the room and check it again, but I think there will be no difference.  Smiley
