getinfo difference between version and wallet version?

Hi, I'm relative new to Bitcoin, 2 months or so in this. Recently I've read the recommendation to update mi client to 0.8, to know which version am using in my ubuntu server, the getinfo command returns two version states:
"version" : 80100
and
"walletversion" : 60000

So am a little confused, what version is what?
