Bitcoin addresses contain a checksum, so it is very unlikely that mistyping an address will cause you to lose money.

A constellation? Which one, the big dipper? I believe you mean consolation, as in "a prize given to a competitor who narrowly fails to win or who finishes last."

Good luck with the project, I think the Ag industry has a ton to gain from IOT technology. Ajax's idea is definitely a novel one!
