How can I mine this coin?
Pools are not available at the moment, I also hope to have chance to mine some coins.

Try using P2pool to mining.

Disconnected, pool diff too low. This was better pool: http://ai.minecrypto.pro/ but now it is closed.

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

We will add mining to the wallet.
That will be nice feature.

Today ends the countdown on the website starwels.What's next? The price of this coin is called. It's 1 dollar or more? Or coin would be questionable work of the developer? Write here who is willing to purchase the coin and its purchase price. Counter on website shows the last hours before the finish-out and start of news about the future of the coin. The price of the coin is announced? Buy and sell. $ 1 and above (>0.00045 btc) ?! Publish the report for sale here to confirm the transaction.

A universal version for mining was created
Now you can mine without a pool

It is not possible to compile for the time being because of the ddos attack on the llvm.org

https://github.com/starwels/starwels/tree/0.1

When the site is available we will add this version to the repository

To compile, you need to make a fork

In starwels.conf you need to write

server=1
listen=1
rpcuser=user
rpcpassword=pass
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1

bfgminer.exe -o http://127.0.0.1:8352 -u user -p pass --no-longpoll -S auto

Coins will be credited immediately to the wallet
How do I compile this in windows?

Use Instructions

https://github.com/starwels/starwels/blob/0.1/doc/gitian-building.md

https://github.com/starwels/starwels/blob/0.1/doc/release-process.md

Or wait for us, we will compile when llvm will work
Is to complicated for me, waiting for your release.

This version is created only for mining it does not support the purse from 0.14
Use a separate wallet
Ok and what about that alert key? still not synced, 5 connections to starwels network

You can mine the coin even when the network is not synchronized Smiley
Console mining or do I need that compromised bfgminer?

What is the last block?

On my side:
Code:
./starwels-cli getinfo

  "version": 140200,
  "protocolversion": 70015,
  "walletversion": 130000,

}

But if:
Code:
./starwels-cli getblocktemplate
error code: -10
error message:

So, seems the wallet is stucking at #30552, but for my connected peers:

would be a waste of time if you try to mine thru wallet it only give kh - mh even gh wont move block

we need a pool that could withstand a high power. the last time it need somewhere 500TH to move block.

the more miner the more value the coin. that why it is real critical for Dev to setup a pool that could could withstand a high power.

remember this is SHA256

I know what is it for algo, just wanted to say that Starwels said we can mine with wallet without pool but there is no way. Pool would be nice.

30552
This is the last block after it you can mining

The testnet works fine
Use the config for mining through bfgminer

server=1
listen=1
rpcuser=user
rpcpassword=pass
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1

No, is not possible to mine because the method "getblocktemplate" fails.

(OS: Ubuntu server 64 bits)

Code:
./starwels-cli getblocktemplate
error code: -10
error message:
Starwels is downloading blocks...

(and the wallet is sync' if the last block is #30552)
