What brand do you tend to see the best performance mining bitcoins for 7950's?

Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

On a new powercolor from Newegg I'm getting around 500Mh/s. This after overclocking slightly in Catalyst to 1020Mhz (from stock 950Mhz). I haven't found an optimal config on cgminer to get those 600+ rates, right now I'm using this:

cgminer -o http://coinotron.com:3334 -u username -p password --shaders 1792 --intensity 14 --worksize 256 -v 1

If I up the intensity the screen goes to hell and the system overall is unresponsive.

I'm not sure about the gigabyte but i have several

Sapphire HD7950 Boost 3GB 384Bit GDDR5 16X

for Litecoin mining and they get 550 kh/s almost straight out of the box - you can get 600 kh/s with only minor tweaking or simply by copying some of the settings found here:

I like XFX I've been running mine hard for about 6 months and no problems whatsoever. I had a Gigabyte that the fan died on me within 3 months. Also I have 4 Gigabyte 6950 and the fan is dead on half of them (luckily they have 3 a piece).

setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
cgminer xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx --scrypt -I 20 -w 256 --lookup-gap 2 --thread-concurrency 24000 -g 1  --gpu-engine 1100 --gpu-memclock 1500 --auto-fan

This one was getting around 610 khash/s on Sapphire HD7950 Boost 3GB 384Bit
