Can I use a x1 to x16 riser in a x16 port?

Can I use a x1 to x16 riser in the x16 ports or do I need specific x16 to x16 risers for that?

You can use x1 to x16 risers in x16 ports; just make sure they are powered risers from a good source and you will be fine.
