Can you show more details about the software that you say you are going to build? like stealth addresses, encrypted messaging, and tor integration. DO you have a timeline, or is that all just a pipe dream?

Looks like dev doesn't really care about this project.. also uses new btct account to create this thread. Why not use your own account if you have nothing to hide?
He can easily just leave the project anytime and move on to his next anonymous project and sell his premine again.. beware guys don't fall for these empty promises!

He didn't burn his coins exactly, but he gave them over to me. I am after all the creator and promoter of the coin (he just wrote some code and put it on his Github).
As you can see I received 100k TOR from him here:

He holds another 30k TOR, but that is no threat to TorCoin even if he dumps them, and he is holding those for value store anyway.
There is no longer any issue with Carsen that can disturb TorCoin:
A. He is long gone as developer
B. He no longer holds much TOR
All is well in the world, for now!
Congratulations! Now you're $100k richer than you were before! Why not spread that $100k you made just for being the creator and promoter and put them in faucets? Faucets are also a good way to spread the word around about your coin. |

In fact I'm 10 BTC poorer thus far from TorCoin, since I haven't sold any but I've invested my own BTC. This is not really about the money. The point is that the looming threat of Carsen dumping his TOR and thus crashing the price is now gone. Faucets are a great idea - want to make one? I am all for it. Right now though my priority is an Android wallet and macOs wallet, to increase ease-of-use. Also, I will be offering social media promotion bounties starting basically tomorrow (or even tonight). already hired a promoter for that kind of thing. It should be an exciting week - I'm also vetting a few top-notch devs. I won't make the same mistake again of hiring someone who isn't motivated by the longterm future of the coin. I'm staking the new dev with 25k TOR per year - enough TOR to keep him or her extremely motivated for developing the coin, but not enough for him or her to crash the price if he/she wants to sell off. I made a big mistake with Carsen allowing him to keep 200k TOR from the premine - a mistake I will not make again. |
