How do I know if I properly registered a static node?  Can I check something to ensure I did it correctly?

for this who create a wall on yobit at 150 you should create another at c-cex . or people will buy from c-cex and sell on  your wall at yobit.
Anyway thanks for the wall.

OOPS... actually the NEW instructions are on page 55.
Please refer to the post from CCRevolution on Page 55
Some technical questions about the Wallet before I dwelve into page 55. My XtraBYtes Wallet is stuck on Synchronizing for days now. It shows 2146 blocks remaining. I have QT version   5.8.0. installed. Is that the most update version? Is it normal that it is not synchronizing for such a long period? My computer is ON 24/7. And, probably related, my latest 575000xby deposit on 4may2017 is still not confirmed ( shown in gray on the wallet). Any suggestions?

XBY is now the 169th currency in Market Cap rank, it's taking momentum, life is great, were all gonna get rich Smiley))
Thanks, have a terrific day.

Smiley If you click on my username (over to the left) you will see an option to send a direct message (PM). Click that and send me your email address. This is what we need to invite you to our private chat room where there are now 192 people connected and talking 24/7 about XtraBYtes.

You are not using the latest version of the wallet. This is why CCEX got held up the other day - we did a big fix for STaTiC node compatability. So, if you go to page 1 on the forum and scroll down a bit, you will find the latest Windows wallet. Back up your wallet.dat file and install the new wallet in the same directory. (If you are unsure about all this, come in the Slack chat first).

Once you get the new wallet you will sync quickly...

I will await your PM

If you look on the ANN you will see a link for STaTiC-LIST registrations (with a 60 second update).

Welcome to XtraBYtes!!

40 nodes so far, that's not bad.

Am I right in saying that IF later somone wants to sell the coins connected to the node then they can sell the node to whoever wants it? That would be great I assume because you can sell your coins and also many would be willing to buy it off you knowing they can get an income so you benefit from the passive income and even some more if you pass it on to some else? Am I right?

Hello Everyone!!

One of our valued XtraBYtes Community Corporation members tabled a suggestion last night:

Quote:
"We got to take the word DATABASE off the OP title. I would read that and think ok so it's some kind of collection of people's records or something. It's not sexy... the heading needs a more attractive wording, the last word is database so it looks like the project is basically a database." :EndQuote

And, since the "decentralized shared storage" is not going to be the ONLY thing XtraBYtes offers in the future, I believe it would be very good for us to not categorize ourselves with a mundane word like "database". So, we are looking to come up with something more: appealing, accurately descriptive and of course, sexy... Cheesy

I decided to "temporarily" change the word to REVOLUTION because from a big picture perspective, we are going to revolutionize the crypto world, in many ways...

But, what are your thoughts??

XtraBYtes will offer many different services on our blockchain... anything that is: marketable, attractive, profitable and possible (blockchain capable) will eventually be made available.

Let's get creative folks!!

The WINNING word will result in winning half the prize pool and the other half will go to the Community Fund. Therefore, once the competition begins, we will collect all the names over the follow 24 hours and then from this we will choose (we being the XtraBYtes Discussion Board) the top 5 and you can decide the winning word with a final vote.

SUPER SYSTEM & REVOLUTION are my 2 entries and they are obvious ones after much discussion, so we will pull these from the bidding before we start...  Grin If I win... the entire prize pool goes to the Community Fund. But let's have a bit of FUN and see what else comes to mind.

How do you enter?

Borzalom will be creating another special address, similar to our FEES address. Except the Prize address will be accessible for distribution immediately after the final vote.

Each word entered will cost 1000 XBY and this becomes part of the prize pool. When the contest closes, I will personally add an additional 30% and if anyone else would like to participate in this by adding a few more % you are more than welcome!

Further instructions will be included when we officially start the contest after a short period of time...

So, put your thinking caps on!!

WEEKEND NAME CONTEST DETAILS

OK, so this is really simple...

We are going to make a slight change to one of our marketing phrases that is found on the OP and here on the forum:

XtraBYtes - The Proof of Signature Blockchain Database

The word DATABASE is being dropped and we are asking you to have some fun and post your entries for a new: appealing, accurately descriptive and of course, sexy ending to the slogan (although, our Member does not use the word sexy in a sexual way... this is of course a higher level of attractiveness in a business sense).

So remember... the winning entry will get half of the prize pool as it was described above, with me matching with 30% and others can follow suit if they so choose.

The entry is 1000 XBY per word (word combination). So, in other words, don't send in "Super System" and "Revolution" on the same ticket... we will only accept the first word combination or first word. If you have more ideas, send in more entries. This increases your chances to win if you have good ideas and if you lose you are contributing 50% to the community fund regardless and this is destined for future projects or benefits for XtraBYTes.

Instructions:

Send 1000 XBY to this address: BGNEYsQRK34pb6Yma5mFYwh9Sk9T5thjJV (Dedicated wallet for Contests that I am controlling)

Then provide your transaction ID which looks like this:
TXID: 794255e75779db8f12f72f1b4894599c5409a4a88acc061217ef1a4a39c9698b

Also include your SUBMITED NAME: XXXXXXXXX

Included in a PM to me with the subject line: Contest

We have decided to run this contest blind (which can result on more than 1 person sending in the same idea) because it is going to build more excitement as each bid is entered and a larger pool grows (you can watch the pool grow as instructed below). If there are duplicates and the duplicate name wins, the person who sent that name in first will be the winner, based on the email receipt with the TXid (not the TXid itself). We want to get some creativity happening and not disappointment if you see someone else thought of the name before you did, so we go blind for this one...

Remember, its only 1000 XBY per entry... and you have a chance to win!!

Plus, no matter what, 50% will go to the Community FEES address @ BLocksFEE4ProofofSignatureXXYF3VQ3 (Additional contributions are always welcome + this is a locked address that nobody has access to and it will eventually be opened once the XtraBYtes Community Corporation decides how to spend those coins)

You can watch both addresses from here as they grow: http://borzalom.hu/richlist.html

The contest starts now and will end on Sunday night: 23:59:59 GMT

We will then compile the top 5 and a vote will be set up for Monday...

Good Luck!!

The following list: http://borzalom.hu/richlist.html

shows a much smaller total of XBY (for my spending wallet) than what is actually is my wallet.  Am I looking at it incorrectly?

I'm betting you have your money in two or more addresses in your wallet?

Update?  No, I just downloaded the wallet but maybe I still need to update.  Do I have to do everything over again with the static node?

I got to go now. But one I assume the static node money won't show on the rich list as its offline. But yes there was an update a few days ago you must do, just save it over your old download but backup first. Maybe ask in slack if that doesn't help.

CONTEST RULE ADJUSTMENT

After further consideration, a type of Community Brainstorming Session is felt to be a better idea than a blind challenge. Therefore, we will show you the entries to help stimulate some new thoughts, additional ideas and participation. Also, it is totally legit to take someones word and add to it - this is what brainstorm is all about...

As you can see below, one of the participants dropped the word "Blockchain" and another changed the slogan completely... You can do whatever you want, except change the name or the lettering of XtraBYtes - this is our brand and brand design to highlight XBY, which is the driving force behind all the profits now and in the future.

Entries thus far:
