I love this project and have many coins BUT I was thinking today it is better we have steady growth rather than extreme rises too early.


My reason is we dont want to find ourselves at 20m marketcap or more which we could do very easily and still be testing the system. Once we get to those kind of prices and more there will be a lot of pressure on the project and people will demand for white papers etc very strongly then. Best we have everything set up nicely websites, white paper etc before we go too big.

It's great to see FUD on the thread - they only appear once the project has the potential to go somewhere and they need to try to manipulate the price down. Go XBY!

I'm excited about the project and will be purchasing more XBY in the coming days. I only hope the price stays low as it is now...we'll see 1000 sat soon, and 10k sat will be on the horizon...

I am back from errands and a small survey in SLACK said to allow until NOON GMT. In 30 minutes we will close the contest and the XtraBYtes Community Board will decide on the top 5 names for voting later today!!

So, if anyone sends in a late entry it will be accepted. I will announce the closing when I get back online!

Also, if there are any other contributors, please inform me so we can finalize the total. As it stands now, there is 20.200 and I will add another 30% (6060) which is a total pool of 26.260 so far.

We have been conducting a contest over the weekend where you can win some XBY if your entry is chosen for #1 new Slogan by the XtraBYtes Community. This all started with the following suggestion:

One of our valued XtraBYtes Community Corporation members tabled a suggestion last night:

So, we are looking to come up with something more: appealing, accurately descriptive and of course, sexy...

I decided to "temporarily" change the word to REVOLUTION because from a big picture perspective, we are going to revolutionize the crypto world, in many ways...

But, what are your thoughts??

XtraBYtes will offer many different services on our blockchain... anything that is: marketable, attractive, profitable and possible (blockchain capable) will eventually be made available.



Let's get creative folks!!

The WINNING word will result in winning half the prize pool and the other half will go to the Community Fund. Therefore, once the competition begins, we will collect all the names until midnight GMT on Sunday and then from this we will choose (we being the XtraBYtes Discussion Board) the top 5 and you can decide the winning word with a final vote.

SUPER SYSTEM & REVOLUTION are my 2 entries and they are obvious ones after much discussion, so we will pull these from the bidding before we start...  If I win... the entire prize pool goes to the Community Fund. But let's have a bit of FUN and see what else comes to mind.

The winning entry will get half of the prize pool and I will match the total with an additional 30% and others can follow suit if they so choose.

The entry is 1000 XBY per word (word combination). So, in other words, don't send in "Super System" and "Revolution" on the same ticket... we will only accept the first word combination or first word. If you have more ideas, send in more entries. This increases your chances to win if you have good ideas and if you lose you are contributing 50% to the community fund regardless and this is destined for future projects or benefits for XtraBYTes.

So what is the earning for 1 static node? Other coins generate about 1-3%/month as far as I know.
