2 questions... the trading fee of 100 XRB is kind of high.. that's nearly 80 cents already based on today's price. Will it be lowered? A NEM style fee setup where the fee goes up based on how much is sent would be ideal. Also, does it now take 500,000 to run a static node? A look at the list shows they all have 500,000 balance.
I mostly own XEM and they already have a pretty solid coin in place, but this tech looks interesting. Will this coin have messaging? What kind of scalability does it have? How many transactions per second? What about multisig?
I'm not sure I want to deal with yobit or c-cex though. I'd rather buy 500,000 XRB from someone here directly assuming I'm interested... a direct swap of either BTC or XEM.
XRM? This is XBY, mate.

well I ended up going the yobit route and got 310,000 XBT for less than I was going to ask here... 333 sats. I was going to ask 400. Will watch it a bit before I decide if I want to do enough for a static node. No problems with Yobit through this whole process. In the meantime, I submitted a listing request to bittrex. The technology is interesting, but the wallet is still pretty primitive. I'll be watching to see what kind of development is done to advance this coin and reading more up on it. Good luck fellow investors. If anyone wants to donate me enough for a static node, look for the address with 309999.99 on the richlist and send. Much thanks.

XRM? This is XBY, mate. I don't know if he mispelled it,or he is in the wrong thread but he did not bother to read the announcement thread to see features of this coin and hey XtraBYtes is very low now at Yobit down by 15% so better pick up while this cheap a lot of coins are now on a hype.

Hello Everyone!
We are working on many things obviously but in light of a few people feeling like they are being kept in the dark we have decided we will start releasing a type of progress report. Details on this are still being worked out, but we will get something ASAP.
For now, I would like to do a small press release:
As you can all imagine, the workload has increased dramatically over the last few weeks. Borz is well on track to getting the initial clean up done so that there is a new STaTiC chain to continue building on. He is close to completing the STaTiC Genesis block, but every time he runs a test, more little errors pop up and he needs to fix and retest...
For myself, the communications has become extremely intense and I would like to announce that we now have several OFFICIAL Members on the XtraBYtes Team that are here to help you with various questions.
As of now, here is the list of Official Members of the XtraBYtes Community:
Borzalom - XtraBYtes Founder and Lead Programmer CCRevolution - XtraBYtes Founder and Marketing/General Manager Vanfly - Social Media Manager / Founding Board Member Cefinnell01 - Exchange Manager / Founding Board Member
Community Board Members
CCNCCN - Founding Board Member / Other Roles Jhar - Founding Board Member / Other Roles
Smokim87 - The Voice of Reason BigBoss154 - Solid Supporter Eggsandspamm - Solid Supporter / Development Roles FishFishFish313 - Solid Supporter / Development Roles Fred - Solid Supporter / Development Roles
Please respect that all of our Official Members are bound to confidentiality and cannot and will not reveal anything about what is happening behind the scenes. Additionally, rest assured that neither Borzalom or myself reveal major secrets to anyone, including the board. There are things that we know which can influence the price and this information is NOT RELEASED to anyone prematurely. We all learn about MAJOR news at the same time.
Thank you for your understanding and please do not pester these members to find out more information about their roles, what they are working on or anything else that is related to their affiliation with the XtraBYtes Community Board. This is done to protect YOUR XBY investment, so please respect this and do not try to gain some sort of edge on the trading platforms.
However, please feel free to ask any other questions. These members are there to help the XtraBYtes Community and we want you to know that Borzalom and I are not alone. So, they can answer any other questions confidently and will not share inaccurate or misleading information in the Slack or on the Forum.
Sincerely,
The XtraBYtes Crew

Can we stop saying the coin started at 1 sat. It was at 1 sat for one day and only 6m coins were bought then...probably dumped at 3 sats knowing yobit traders. Quite soon after this the price was in double digits. Also the original ICO was much more expensive than 1 sats, maybe 50sat plus actually.

The update is very nice for the doubters. The transparency is very needed in times of countless coins releasing with the sole purpose of getting the founders of the coin money before the coin even really gets released in to something with a good and needed purpose. XtraBYtes really does show promise when it comes to having a purpose and the developers/founders show a lot dedication and effort/work (see: Github/updates/changes).

Hello, this is an interesting information. Where can I read this for myself? I really would appreciate an answer I'm glad I got into XBY at 150 sat btw This is the original scam. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1793468.0Ok so the ICO was 250sats. The original supply was 100m but I'm guessing some premie which was dumped, you will have to read up. But You basically come to figure 250/6.5 = 38sats. I was around early selling on Yobit, most early people bought around 70/100 sats. You just need to look at chart on Yobit as it also shows price range and vol of you click on various dates.

Actually, the original supply was unlimited, the scammer just left the door open to take BTC from anyone willing to pay... When it was finished there were 650 million coins bought in the ICO. Yes, I think it started at 250 but I am doubtful anyone bought at that price. The price stayed at 1 satoshi for over 3 months while this story was being developed and while Borzalom was forking the actual Bitmox scam chain. Then, once we got the all clear from C-CEX the XBY (XtraBYtes) marketing campaign began. Here is the celebration post: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1793468.msg18500780#msg18500780

Public Enemy famously did the song Don't believe the Hype. I would say to people, don't believe the FUD. The price is manipulated heavily on Yobit, they are trying to buy as much as they can cause they know soon the price will return to old highs and more.
