Yes I know, that's why i'm asking.  The testnet is the sandbox for the mainnet to test the system and weed out any weaknesses and exploits.  It took qtum team 3 months to move from testnet to mainnet and they have 30 devs on their team.  That's why i'm wondering what xby's timeline is seeing how Borz is the main one developing.  Are we talking a couple of months or a year?

I´m holding XBY for a while. I´ll to their slack and see if i can be of any use to the project. Enthusiastic developers are not a bad thing. SCAM ICO and runaway provids lot´s of funding, and no development...So, its not that bad.

well, I tend to disagree a bit.
Funding is not an issue if there is whitepaper, website and regular communication from dev team.

And rich list definitely contains ppl which are at least in board, so they can ofc fund devs if there is need for it.
Even nodes are being now charged by 100k xby, node cost currently around 14k usd and there should be 512 of them - roughly 100k usd only on fees for each of them.

so no, funding should not really be an issue from this end.

"Major volume" is arbitrary and you are taking it out of context. Obviously it doesn't mean Bittrex levels on Cryptopia and the other exchanges we are on right now, but building up interest and peak volume that would be realistically attainable on said exchanges.  

Also trading channels on all coin slacks are bad, just don't go on them.
