No, STATIC rewards are paid in XBY. XFUEL is only for development purposes.

XBY and xfuel are two different coins.  Xfuel uses the XBY network to run and is used to pay developers and can be used to fill a percent of a Static node.

You can't buy it right now.  The only way to get it is through working on the coin or completing a bounty.  One of the first products that will be release is the x-change which you will be able to trade for xfuel.

So the only use of Xfuel is to fill static nodes? Thus it provides a discount for people that want to start nodes.  It seems to me then that there will a good chunk of unused Xfuel if some people just just all XBY for their nodes.  What purpose will this floating supply have?
