A little bug flagged up at the end of that test that has been dealt with and a new test has started to see if it has fixed the issue.

Next Test Instructions:

(before you run, empty the contents of the XCITE folder in the Roaming section)

Also, add a xcite.conf file to the folder, making sure nothing else is there, with your PoSign key included as such:

rpcuser=x
rpcpassword=y
server=1
daemon=1
listen=1
debug=1
reindex=1
posignkey=CrZfetxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx (very long key)

Now you can run your XCITE client.

Next, you will go to the debug console and open the debug log file and you want to find: importable private key and you then copy that key. Do not include the final 4 characters "init"

Now, in the debug window console, type: importprivkey copiedkeyxxxxxxxxxx

NOTE: The stored importable private key of debug.log is temporary only. This is no security issue. I will remove this shortly. This required the coin distribution only. I created a importable private key from the posign key because this required for storing and connecting block rewards to STaTiC.

I say again this is temporary solution only.

Immature coins will be spendable after 120 confirmations and at that point, you can all start sending and receiving.

I was wondering, once Ethereum goes Proof of Stake after its updates/forks, does it render Xtrabytes somewhat redundant? Or are there still distinct advantages for XBY?
