What was the previous batch price?  I see people saying 1500 USD and 1650 USD.  I know way back when they were 1300 USD but they increased the price a little.  Anyone have estimate on tonight's price?

I think this was the previous batch:

https://shop.bitmain.com/productDetail.htm?pid=000201708241118172509G4Uv52o0647

1650 USD, October shipping.

So it's probably going to be the same price for October shipping, or perhaps slightly cheaper and November shipping.

LOL, it's November AND it's more expensive... 1870 USD. Assholes.

Bitmain has quite the shitty website.  I had 3 in my cart, yet could not checkout.   Crash, crash, crash.    Oh well, life goes on.  Check out the L3+ prices on eBay.  Unbelievable!

I am refresh the cart several times, hope could see out of storage gone and check out

What misfortune? I'm just saying the USD price went UP and it ships LATER. To me that seems crazy. But this is not a life-or-death decision, don't like the price - don't buy, whether it's Bitmain or eBay or whatever. Also the thing with ":" and ")" is called a smiley, look it up.

Less on a LTC cost basis, it WAS 40 but this batch was "only" 25.something - for the lucky few that could actually get an order placed.

20 tries? I was well over 100 by the time it finally let me back in - only to find it was now out of stock.

That's true, although 40 LTC was a long time ago, for a September or early October batch I think. The most recent batch was Oct 21-31, and it cost ~32 LTC or so. Basically Bitmain took out any potential savings from the LTC rise. Not that it matters, I think they could sell it for 50 LTC and likely it would still sell out.

Yes, you can send multiple payments as long as they add up to the correct amount.

Would it be unreasonable to try and sell an L3+ still sealed in the packaging directly from Bitmain, without testing it first?

Why wouldn't you at least plug it in? You could sell it as "tested" and make the buyer feel better (aka charge a bit more).

But if you can't for whatever reason - I think to make it "reasonable" you should give the buyer some assurances that you'll help with the warranty claim if needed.

This ordering process seems very unfair.
Why not just have a queue and when they are available for shipping you have a fair chance to pay based on your order in the queue.

I was never able to get the web page up for over 1/2 hour while im sure some corporate big wig got their order for 100,000 rigs in no problem.

The small guy never had a chance.

Seriously, if they would just form a queue we wouldn't have this mass hysteria of everyone trying to do a smash-and-grab.

How much more money would they make if they fixed the ordering process?

...and that's why they won't be fixing the ordering process anytime soon.

No need for Bitmain to spend thousands of dollars fixing their crappy website when they sell out in minutes... Oh well not our lucky day.

They would make a tonne more money because they could ask a higher price.
The reason these sell out so quick is that they are under priced.
If they charged $4k they wouldn't sell out so quickly and they would be able to spread out the sales more smoothly rather than selling 100k rigs in 5 mins and then going dark for 2 months.

When Panda was hot and had their sales which were sold in 20 seconds, website worked perfectly.
