So do the latest batches of L3+ have the antbleed vulnerability in them?

Nope, Bitmain released new firmwares for all of their devices specifically to remove the "AntBleed" controversy. I monitor outgoing DNS queries on my network and haven't seen anything attempt to reach auth.minerlink.com or 139.59.36.141. This is old news though.

Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

I've had 12 miners stuck in China UPS for past week as well, after a number of emails to and fro between myself and UPS and myself and Bitmain .. the latest response from Bitmain is:

Quote
Thanks for your consultation!
Chinese customs is very strict with Antminers these days. We are preparing the new documents they required recently. We will do our best to make the packages be released as soon as we can. Sorry again for this situation.
Please let us know if you have additional questions or concerns.

looks like a whole shipment from last batch release has been held up.

That's unfortunate, I had some issues with my package and UPS but it still arrived within the window of shipping dates for the batch. I got mine in the last few days of the August 28th - Sept 11th batch, is yours still within the shipping date range of the batch?

No this batch that is on hold was from the earlier batch which should have been here by end of august ... I have had machines delivered without an issue from the august 28th -sept 11th batch as well.... Apparently the issue is with China as they have restrictions on exporting of certain items and if paperwork is not 100% then they can apparently hold the shipment ... the proper pisstake in all this is that I have already paid the customs duty to UPS for this shipment as they pre-bill you prior to it even reaching the UK so that they don't have any "hold-ups" at this end.

You can just ship the hash board itself for repairs? Before this I think we need to send the whole miner for the warranty claims, if i'm not mistaken..

Their return documentation has always said not to return the whole miner, just the defective part.

Do you know how to find all the L3+ batches released (and will be released) by BITMAIN?

Fuck the bitmain... Worst hardware.... Getting problem one by one in the 2 board only 20 days old miner......
Their services, support is also very slow. Al the things are slow.

I Will never buy it again..... Fuck fuck fuck... I lost my money...

Are you running your miners on inverters when there is no electricity?
If yes than you are bound to have troubles
Do you run your miners on batteries when there is no electricity

I think it may be possible the reason some have reported their miners stuck with UPS in china is because it has something to do with this ban we keep hearing about. I would sure hope that excuse they wrote up is legit and not a stall into something deeper.

Litecoin Difficulty today is 776k. At  .08 Kw the L3+ produces $13.38 per day or $400.00 per month. I'm sure you will find some ignorant sucker to dump your machines on, but you better take the money and run. I predicted this very scenario back in June and everyone laughed or got all butthurt. Now it's reality. BTW, that's "today's" numbers. They are GAURANTEED to get worse. The last sheep are almost in the pen. The farmer is sharpening his knife.

Only the ignorant are directly mining litecoin with the L3+. Most here should be using NiceHash or ProHashing (or something similar). We're seeing $34/day with a non-overclocked L3+ on NiceHash at the moment and slightly more on ProHashing (on average). NiceHash is occasionally higher per day and is more stable, but ProHashing has been delivering more for us on a weekly basis.

I want to overclock but i'm scared to since it's my only one so far to toy with. I'm thinking all should be well since my room is air conditioned and stable but at the same time if it breaks out of no-where i'd hate to have to lose out on profits while sending it in for work. I'm very curious how they find out if you OC'd it to deny a warranty claim. @Cryptocrane can you make a video on it showing what part of the miner heats up etc.

Where are you getting 13 from? Its currently slightly over $20 for LTC mining even with 10 cent power. But you are right these will be quickly go to under $10 per machine in the next month or two. People were laughing at me when I was telling them diff will be over 500k by end of August, and my estimates were on conservative side.

Nicehash or Prohash. Use a switching pool. you will maximize your bottom line.
