Hi guys,

Any suggestions for most profitable Scrypt multipool at the moment, anything giving better profits than Nicehash?

Prohashing when it works..is like your hot mess supermodel girlfriend...when it works its great..when it does not you are beyond despondent Sad

I keep hanging in there...because mining x11 and scrypt all to LTC...I figure by the time I figure fees to mine BTC and convert and etc

I'd pretty much be in the same boat ..multipool wise

IT however was crap yesterday..sometimes they refund some hash back....we will see

LMAO!!! Well said!! HAHAHAHA!

My miners are showing it Dead now.  Mining away on the backup pool
Yup, I call it " Procrashing ". Went from my primary to my tertiary pool. They don't have enough capacity and doesn't seem like the brothers are in a hurry to expand. When it goes over their capacity they kick some miners off. Seemingly randomly.

Hm ... strange ... I was trying to use http://poolpicker.eu/table?algo=scrypt

and it gives there better results for Zpool for the last 3 days

2017-11-02   0.00000414   -                   0.00000366   0.00000423

(I've tried Zpool for 1 week earlier, but stopped because I heard some bad reviews for them stealing, didn't occur to me but I decided not to risk it)

As for Prohashing, never tried it as First pool (due to their enormous BTC withdraw threshold), but according to their own graph their profitability is less (or do they have problems with their own stats also Cheesy ? ) :

8th - 0.00000480 BTC
7th - 517
6th - 488
5th - 538
4th - 487
3rd - 518
2nd - 529

According to this they were the best pool only on 2nd Nov, when we don't have the stats from Nicehash ...

So ... I don't know should I believe such stats or not... All I know is that every time I switch to another pool cause it's more profitable according to the poolpicker, the one I left takes the lead ... I'm feeling like a black sheep already Cheesy !

" Procrash" is going down more than a cheap hooker these days. They have too many miners and need to expand. As soon as the network gets too crowded they boot your miner. Honestly I've been renting my L3+ Hash on Nicehash. It's rock solid and pays very steady. They are always at the top of profitability for Scrypt. You may get a few more cents on switching pools but they are real PITA lately. I use Nicehash for primary and GranatGas as first fail over, then Prohashing for 3rd. I can count on one and in the last 2 months the number o times my units failed over off of Nicehash. On Procrashing, it's 2-3 times a day. Sucks.

You only live once....if you do it right, once is enough.

I just got my 3 L3+ in and I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good pool? I'm leaning towards nicehash although I've never used it. What do you guys think? Does nicehash payout in LTC or do they payout in something else? I was also considering granatgas as a second or if someone thinks they are better maybe use them as my primary.

Also, I have 2 APW5's coming in the mail, do you guys think it will be ok to run 2 LTC miners off of 1 miner and then 1 L3+ miner and 1 D3 miner off of the other? I'm running 240V with really good thick wiring including the PSU cord. I saw the APW5 was rated for up to 2600. Although if I had 1 L3+ and 1 D3 on it I would only be at about 2000 to 2100 maximum. Any thoughts?

I use Nicehash (pays in BTC only) for L3+ and granatgas for D3 (pays in a coin of your choice).

L3+ PSU is different from the D3, L3+'s PSU has 18 connections and D3's PSU only 10. At least those are the ones I've got.

Thanks for the suggestion! I'll probably start with nicehash and go from there

I actually have the APW5 which has 20 connectors  Grin I was just wondering if it is feasible. I am waiting for my APW3's to come in the mail as well. I had bought some APW3's for the L3's but they "ran out of raw materials" so they gave me 50 dollar coupons for every one I had ordered and then switched them out with regular APW3's (10 connectors).

Guys, how about that:

Quote
Recommended to use a fixed diff to get more stable hash set on password d=16 if you mine x11 or d=65536 if you mine scrypt
You can set on D3s example is c=BTC,d=16 or for L3+ use d=65536 or higher than that

Never tried it, does it make a difference? I was thinking that setting a fixed difficulty will prevent it from mining different coins, thus making the multipool useless, but I guess I deserve my nickname Cheesy.

I'm getting between $15 and $17 before electric.  It also depends how many times it switches to the failover.

Since APW5 have 2600W run in 240V, you may power up 1 L3+ (700W-800W) and 1 D3 (1000W-1200W) and even with 2 D3 will do.

Thank you! I just wanted to verify my thinking and bounce it off of you guys.. ON a side note, I got 2 of the L3's hooked up and running. Do these run hot? I attached a picture below of the temps and was wondering if those are Celsius or Fahrenheit? My last S9 was Fahrenheit and it usually ran about 70 - 72 and I kept it cool. As it is, it is really cool inside my mining room right now and I have a fan on both of them..plus its winter. So i'm wondering because if the picture below is of Celsius, wouldn't that equate out to about 130 fahrenheit? Just confused because I don't see how they could be 53 Fahrenheit, but I also don't see how they could be 130 Fahrenheit because it is cool in here and the miners themselves are cool to the touch. I'd say its about 65 degrees Fahrenheit currently in here.

$1,586.00 usd Shipping 21st to 29th of December

no chance of this ROI'ing.....hell , there are what 4 batches in the wind yet just from Bitmain of Scrypt-Pow?

so, going the x11 route of mining AIR

Searing L3+ will ROI don't worry
You remember that you was crying at the past with your TITANS and the early batch of L3+s  that you will not ROI ... and you ROI !

I'm fine with getting an L3+ (if you use fiat and not crypto) on an expected price pump of LTC and scrypt-pow...but to use crypto now at this difficulty
on the hope of crypto rising ..you are better off holding your coin..than using it on equip imho

an example is those using btc before the pump and getting equip after

so take out a loan...buy a unit that way for giggles....if you get in trouble with the loan than cash out some of your crypto hoard...hopefully at a better price

I'm off the wagon for using crypto for equip at this point in time ...via bitmain  prices and current difficulty and 2-3 month arrival

So if you are betting on a price pump to justify your equip, just mine what you got and hodl , you can always revist using crypto for equip later

as to the titans 2014 was an ugly year ..I had a tagline like my 'never to roi piece of sh*t knc titans....1.80 LTC etc was annoying

luckily, the knc titans are too frigging evil to die......touchy bas*ards that they are....( I never could make eye contact in basement when doing laundry with them
or they would get miffed and brick themselves)

anyway, my take on current bitmain toasters

Those are Celsius temps bit also they are fine. Remember those are the actual "chip temps". It seems crazy but they are fine at those temps F. The chips have Heat syncs on them that dissipate that heat very quickly. The L3+ doesn't start cooking off until > 70 c. D3's start eating themselves > 72-74C The S9's....geeez who knows. Those things are Tanks! I don't like it when they go North of 80c but mine still run fine there. Unbelievable. I make sure they stay below 74-76c.

Just make sure you click the box that the miner turns off over 80°C and put the fan speed on a steady 90% or 97%. This will cool the miners chips a lot more.

I was going to give prohash a try to see how it compares to nicehash, but it seems they are truly maxed out lol. They won't let me register, it says that there are already 20,000 users and they are maxed out.

Halo Platform is one of the fastest Blockchains I've seen yet. They have FREE transactions. 250 Millisecond Block speeds. Smart contracts, Masternodes, blockchain games, and their own high speed DEX with BTC/ETH/USDC pairs. Similar to ETH, Waves, EOS, and more yet with only $1 million mcap. This video showcases the speed and reliability of the blockchain using the DEX, Masternodes (that will soon payout in BTC and ETH), blockchain games, and more! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g74d3ixX7E8&feature=youtu.be
