Popular German TV show 'Galileo' aired this 10 minute Bitcoin feature yesterday—and without FUD or inaccurate bullshit. I'm quite impressed!
It started off luring people in saying '
Allegedly you can create free money on your own computer' which made me cringe pretty hard.
But luckily then it went on to explain why you can't create bitcoins using your notebook anymore, how the Bitcoin network works, that the system as a whole is very safe from hacking but that each user is responsible for keeping their own bitcoins safe from hacking, password loss etc.
It concluded with an interview with the owner of the Bitcoin accepting Berlin pub
Room77 and the moderator's final statement:
I wouldn't put my life's savings into Bitcoin just yet but I'm pretty sure that we'll hear a lot more about it in the near future.
I spent the last few hours
