Are you a developer? Submit an MVP Qtum App for Matchpool Asia to win $50,000 and 5% of $QGUPs.

Asia is super important to the crypto ecosystem and we care a lot about growing Matchpool’s Asian presence. That’s why we’re running The QTUM Dev Challenge, a contest to develop the QTUM version of Matchpool in Asia that will use $QGUP as its currency.

What are we looking for?

A social app with the following requirements.

-Some paid in-app services
-Multiple forms of cryptocurrency accepted including $QGUPs
-Designed and operational
-Multilingual (Japan / China / Korea)

So what are you waiting for?
The competition opens on 8 Jan 2018 and will run through to 15 Feb 2018.

Winners
We’ll announce the winner on 18 Feb 2018 and award the prize of 5% of all $QGUPs (vested with 18 monthly payments) once the app is complete. The $50,000 prize (delivered in cash or $QGUPs) will be paid in 4 monthly payments upon MVP delivery.

Ready, Set, Go! Matchpool Announces Its First Competition on Uppy [$15K Reward]

The first competition on Matchpool’s $GUP bounty system — with a cash prize!

Earlier this week we announced our new product Uppy (“Up-Guppy”) — a bounty, voting and reward system deployed on the Ethereum mainnet — the latest Matchpool initiative designed to support and grow the $GUP community and Matchpool’s ecosystem.

Today we are excited to present our first internal competition complete with a not-too-shabby $15K $GUP reward — Marketing Matchpool in Asia!

What do you have to do to participate?
Come up with a killer proposal for marketing tactics to grow the Matchpool community in Asia.

The Rules
Apply here with the best idea you have in order to spread the word about Matchpool, that could potentially be a blog post, making a video about the platform, creating Guppy T shirts and merchandise or doing a PR campaign about Matchpool — the community decides what’s best in their eyes.

We are encouraging people from Asia that have a personal blog or cryptocurrency forum to participate in the marketing competition and help Matchpool become a well-known platform within Asian communities.

Community members submit development bids for the project using $GUP.

1 $GUP token holders vote for the winning proposal.
2 The winning bid receives 90% of the $GUP received in payment for the project.
3 The $GUP holders who voted for the winning project receive an equal split of 10% of the $GUP received for the project.
4 Guppy owners vote on the best proposal by staking their Guppies — the more $GUP they have the more voting power they
   possess. (The $GUP will be locked for a month).
5 After the contest has run for one month, there will be two prizes: one will be for the winning proposal and the second will be for 6 the winning voters — the people who voted for the winning proposal.
