Which of these two exchange services do you use and why?
OP you should've added a poll
Bittrex is a reliable exchange with decent support, and I was using it a lot in the past for daily trading, but I prefer Poloniex for two simple reasons.
First of all, it has bigger volume and secondly (this is the most important for me) somehow I feel that my money is safer in Polo than any other exchange.
I think that might be because basically, Poloniex didnt encounter any serious problems through their history since launch, and I feel the same with my money on poloniex.

When i was comparing Bittrex to Poloniex, I have found out that I really prefer the user interface we have on bittrex, and the overall trading platform.
It is more transparent for me, and not laggy- when I have some strange backlogs on Poloniex sometimes, which is extremely annoying for me.

But I need to say that I still would choose Poloniex, because this cryptocurrency exchange has really higher volume ( highest among the exchanges ) and I can also do margin trading/loaning there, which is not available on bittrex.

Both of exchanger is well known and exist over 4 years. Mintpal also great exchanger on old days !
Poloniex have their chat box that able to discuss between trader and provide giveway on giveway tab
Bittrex has simple graph and smooth graphics which enable trader to trade with easy and smooth

But I'm prefer bittrex for their awesomeness

Both of it if i will choose, because they are just the same exchange, but poloniex has mostly popular to all traders because of their #1 highest volume ever, i love poloniex because of the, but i love also how the way bittrex do to all her traders, even if their some many problems they will fix this as soon as posible, and poloniex also have a very fast support nice moderator they banned veey fast all spammers in his troll box. This two exchanges if i will pick

I trust poloniex more than bittrex because poloniex is known to have good security as well as they have quite clean history. Also volume is way higher in polo than in bittrex. I still use both of these exchanges but poloniex is my first choice.

Both are good and i choose them based on coin which i want to trade. Most of the coins that are listed in bittrex are also listed in poloniex but there are still few that are only listed in bittrex, so if i have to trade them i will simply use bittrex otherwise i try to stick with poloniex.

However i trust both with my bitcoins.

Both of them are good and reliable so far, but for me right now I am focusing trading at Poloniex because most of the times the coins are all active. And for my own opinion as what i can see in the market, it is going up.  For me also when the coins are always moving i could try fast trading.

Yes i would also like to suggest same, during massive pump and dump it will be easier to sell/buy any coin on poloniex because they will have huge buy/sell orders. Go with poloniex..

Poloniex is starting to lag with the increased volume, so they need to fix that quickly otherwise their exchange will get ruined. Bittrex though functions smoothly, so it helps to split your trades between the two, just in case polo goes down.

iam choose poloniex because

1 fee withdraw is low only 10k satoshi
2 very high volume transaction, so is fast pending order buy or sell can take it
3 support lending and margin trading
4 very high user trading in poloniex

Personally I prefer Bittrex, I have used Poloniex in the past but I use Bittrex as my main altcoin exchange.

They have a more varied selection of coins and I prefer interface, I suppose I am more familiar with Bittrex.

i have been using Poloniex for a pretty long time a few months ago, and i found that polo is better on pure altcoin trading. IIRC comparing to bittrex polo has a chatbox (trollbox), not bittrex. however, i haven't seen bittrex so i cannot provide any opinion other than some of the abandoned altcoin available for trading in bittrex.

out of ability to use the signature, i want a new ban strike policy that will fade the strike after 90~120 days of the ban and not to be traced back, like google | email me for anything urgent, message will possibly not be instantly responded
i am not really active for some reason

The one thing I don't like about Poloniex is that it keeps logging me off every 5 to 10 minutes. It could be me since I'm on the road and rent internet and they might be changing my IP address at least this is what Poloniex support has told me. But on Bittrex I'm logged in all day (same with other exchanges). I only have this problem with Poloniex and it's annoying but I keep using them since it works and they have best volume on most Alt Coins.

I love both of them, 60% of my BTC is in Bittrex, the rest is in Poloniex. If Poloniex would add TIME from Chronobank, and would have a nice time chart like from Bittrex, then I would stick with Poloniex.

Yes that is also my problem when i leave it or AFK for a while. It keeps on saying your login session expired, Maybe its also for the protection of your account since it could be used as wallet and to avoid also of being hacked.

Differentiation is the key! Always differentiate your funds, so use both, plus Kraken.

I don't trust Bittrex because they accept bribes to list coins (like cryptsy and mintpal).

A lot of Bittrex coins ended up worthless and have been delisted.

Poloniex has a better interface and I trust the team behind the website more than Bittrex.

Bittrex takes bribes? I dont think thats proven. If youre going to accuse an exchange for accepting bribes, then you should also post the corresponding evidence. Thats a strong accusation if its true.

Thats a good suggestion. I would go far and say that Kraken is a better exchange than Bittrex and it should be considered as a good 2nd exchange to Poloniex. Its headquartered in San Francisco and not some small country in Asia. No offense to the people of Asia but setting up an exchange that has their headquarters in a 3rd world country does make it look like its a scam.

I use Poloniex as although it has fewer different altcoins for exchange compared to Bittrex it has all the altcoin I need to exchange to Bitcoin and withdraw from them. I like their interface more than Bittrex and is really straight forward not letting you make any error. That is the reason I use Polo over Bittrex because I am used to it and Bittrex interface to me looks more complicated.
