How do you feel about the death penalty?

The death penalty is the worst thing that can happen to a man.The death penalty must be earned, because it has to be well deserved.No one is ready to die, except the greatest criminal.People have to respond for their actions.No punishment is easy, and especially not a death penalty.So we have to watch what we do.

Death penalty for drug lord,rapist and terrorist. For me its ok have death penalty, for the crime I list, cause that crime have many lost lives specially using drugs.

I agree with you dev, with the death penalty then the criminals will think twice to do it.
especially on drug rulers and terrorists will be very appropriate if the crime is committed capital punishment.

Just because the drug us going to expire, the suspects' sentences are hurried and no chance.for appeal. My stand in death penalty, which i still do believe in, is that death penalty could be and should be imposed if and only if the judicial system is perfect and we will give it out to the suspect who is deserving of it by law. We don't want to sentence a wrong person to death. Imagine an innocent person dying and the guilty person still roams around

I'm not a pro or anti death penalty because having this type of punishment have two sides. On one side, people who committed heinous crimes, such as rape or murder etc get what they deserve. And also, crime rates are also lessen as people get fear of being executed if they do heinous acts. The other side,  the people that are framed up or mistaken as committing crime will be also get executed if they can't defend themselves. That's why I'm neutral about this topic.

it should be abolished and or preserved for social revenge acts in cases like mass murderers. vegas shooter type scenarios where there is absolutely no doubt. why? because the justice system isn't perfect and executing ONE innocent throws the whole argument on its head and makes the country guilty of the same crime it is trying to punish. life in prison IS the death penalty and it's often times cheaper. it also gives the innocent some chance of proving that they are and some have done exactly that.

If a person does not respect another persons life and carried out a homicide and you think that sending them to jail is more than enough,i am not telling that you must give death penalty to every one,according to the brutality of the crime they must hand the capital punishment,going to jail for his deeds means,he is having a good life inside the prison with good food with tax payers hard earned money.

I feel it is so much fear to death penalty because are forcing it killing a life of a certain  people when they injected the drugs it kill people slowly until doe his last breath only god have a right for getting life

Death penalty is a heavy punishment that can kill someone's life. It is not just to be implemented easily but it must be think over and over. Review every detail that is written in that law. I do not agree on this, because what if the person is innocent but he was just framed up by another powerful people who has a position or wealth or name in the society. Killing that innocent person is a crime but sometimes it is cover up by so many storiesthat people might believe in.

In my own opinion dealth penalty is ok to those people who commits heavy crime in the soceity. Those people who rape women should be in death sentence so that they will not doit again and those who try to rape women will be scared to do it . And those who killed people should be killed also by means of death penalty . If life of people takes by someone without any heavy reason they should also take the life of the suspect.

- I think we can be above that.
- If i did commit a crime worth perpetuity/death sentence, I'd take death penalty every day. So I really don't get why people are defending this ... (if the goal is to make someone pay for his crimes).

I think death penalty must be performed in some crimes like homicide including terrorist attacks,rape and every sexual assault against children.

Absolutely agreed with what you had posted above. If you look at the reformation rates for various groups of criminals, there are certain groups such as petty thieves and white-collar criminals who show a lot of promise. But if you analyze the tendency for recidivism among the murderers, pedophiles, and rapists then you can find that it is extremely high.

If they could prove without the shadow of a doubt that the person to be sentenced with death really did a heinous crime then go head and kill the bastard. But the problem with death penalty is that once it is given, there is no appeal to turn the sentence over. That is why I'm all for life imprisonment. The problem with this is the prisoners given this has to be fed, clothed and housed as humanely as possible from the pockets of the government. What i suggest to remedy that is to put them to work and earn their keep

The truth is I am not into death penalty but when I read or watch the news and a 6 year old girl was raped my heart burst and I wish the the rapist will sentence by death penalty.

I feel that it should not be allowed, it always based on the perspective of the people, of ones view, if you are a believer then yes you wont agree, with the knowledge that only the God can take life away, and give life away, however if you are atheist and believes that the only way of curing a sick people in your country is death then probably yes you will agree to it
