Yeah, it is rising, but i dont really think there is a future in Bitcoin. It was the first attempt, but now, other coins have way better features, specific at their field of operations. You can get better anonimity with Monero, better transaction times with some other coins etc. So i guess BTC is just a way for the masses to find out about the blockchain, and the first one there. It will continue to rise, because is being used frequently as a gateway Fiat -> BTC -> Altcoins

unfortunately it will decrease the value of alt coin, but it can be helped if there are a lot of investor interested in thta coin and make a pump, so the price is not only rely on bitcoin but also the interest from the investor, and it will make trading become more exciting

I don't understand why you say that. Historically, Litecoin for example has been following btc: up when btc is up and down when btc is down. That's not the cas for ETH ok, but that's all, the others have followed the curves ^^ |

Why not $2,000 then?
I believe that bitcoin will touch $2,000 in the year 2018 but in the current year, we will find many ups and downs on the price chart. The bitcoin is growing with a stable speed over the years but still, some serious fluctuations are making it more volatile. The natural growth would definitely strengthen the potential of bitcoin but to be honest, I love growth in the user base rather than on the price chart.

expect a huge crash coming down when bitcoin keeps increasing it's price. remember if bitcoin price goes more up that will be the reason for the user to exchange and sell their bitcoin and when there's a lot of people selling their bitcoin that will be the reason of the crash down of the price of bitcoin . more likely bitcoin price goes up because of the investors in bitcoin.
People keep saying it's going to crash since the begining of the up momentum... I beg to differ with you on this point because the bitcoin price surging is self justifying and how much bitcoin will continue to be part of our lives now and in the future and it implies their is a greater market demand for the currency which keeps pushing its price to the moon It was the first attempt, but now, other coins have way better features, specific at their field of operations. I do agree when it comes to exhibiting certain features bitcoin does fall short only because it was made for general-purpose audience unlike other alts with a specific use but still remains the favorite for many of us. |

Nope if you were smart enough you would've seen this price as a fake market/ manipulation while the real value is $200 every time I saw that statement in some useless and baseless topics I got overwhelmingly bored to death because of the stupidity of some people.  Pay a little bit attention to the date and the prices. |

I think if bitcoin can penetrate more than 1500 $ will bring a positive impact for its users that is increasing their income, but whether there is a positive impact for the market like altcoin price will there be a drastic change whether it up or down?

When bitcoin prices rise almost all even all altcoin in markets will decline and applies also if bitcoin prices fall then altcoin in market will rise that is common, many of traders take the advantage of this moment to buy altcoin include me. |

There are huge impact on the market as the bitcoin continue to rise. Altcoins prices will be the one to suffer first because people will be rushing to sell their altcoin to convert to bitcoin to benefit the higher price of it. High btc price is also a good to holders, they can sell now or still hold for a higher price since it is expected to reach even at $2000 this year or more.

I think there is a direct correlation between Bitcoin doing well and other Alt coins doing well too.... Any coin that performs well, gets media attention and when Bitcoin break record prices ..... a lot of people report about it in the media and then a lot of people want to jump in to get a part of the action.  |

Any price growth of bitcoin will bring a positive impact to all of its users especially those who have bought bitcoin at a low price.
While the impact of it to altcoins isn't the same since the price of altcoins isn't based on bitcoin but rather to USD. So the price increase for bitcoin will not going to affect the price of altcoins. Then the conversion rate for bitcoin and altcoin are inversely proportional whenever the price of bitcoin go up, then the price of altcoin will go down when converted to bitcoin but when converted to USD the price is still the same.

It already penetrated and i will say it wont give any impact specially to altcoin it might showing some reds as of now but majority of them do increase which means they do go with the trend.Its not really surprising anymore for bitcoin to rise its price and now we are reaching a new ATH but we should really expect that the bubble will pop out and price would decrease again for sure. |

Bitcoin price change towards positive direction is long predicted and it will certainly bring some positive changes to the market. We will see more money inflow in bitcoin market going forward which will increase the market cap as well as its price.
However, I don’t see any negative impact on alt market as well. Whatever the money inflow will be, will come to the crypto currency market only and people who trade in volumes, will trade bitcoin with alts only. So it will increase the fund inflow to alt market as well. The impact will be positive throughout.
