1. What is Artax?
Artax is a marketplace for computing power and the infrastructure for Autonomous Smart Contracts. We have identified the two most interested user groups for leasing rental capacities: miners and gamers. A separate product will be created for both groups.

2. Do you have competitors?
Competitors must be considered for each of two areas.

1. Marketplace for computing power(Decentralized Supercomputer).
Golem is the main well-known competitor. Our Competitive Advantages:

• We use Virtualbox as middleware. This allows you to run applications for any operating system.
• Artax virtual server has full Internet access using TOR.
• Support for GPGPU using CUDA/OpenCL.
• Support the most demanded computing(machine learning) at the native level to achieve the best performance.

2. Autonomous Smart Contracts.
The closest competitor is plasma.io. Our main advantage is that we use the computing power of miners and gamers. This allows us to achieve a high level of decentralization, cheap operation costs and high stability.

3. Do you have prototype?
Yes, we have a prototype of Artax Virtual Server. This is the basis for the marketplace for computing power.

Technically speaking, I think going with the username Vitalik was a good idea. Not only does it give the impression that you are a smart Eastern European, also, there has been at least one successful project that was developed, at least in part, by someone with Vitalik in their username. However, chances are that everyone named Vitalik is not a good developer....so there is that.

VirtualBox dose not vitrualizing gpu... Just make some gpu emulation. CPU work good.

Yes, it is true. Virtualbox emulates the video card and it is not suitable for computation.

Artax uses OpenCL/CUDA device virtualization. Guest OS uses virtual OpenCL/CUDA device. This device is connected with host operating system via TCP port forwarding. At the operating system level, Artax interacts with OpenCL/CUDA device that is running on the GPU.

Please read the chapter "GPGPU" in the whitepaper.

Yes, this is our last project. After the publication of the Whitepaper, we received a good feedback and decided to change the project greatly. You can compare the whitepapers and see the differences.

ICO has not yet been made, so it is incorrect to consider this project as a scam. At the moment we want to receive feedback on the technical part of the project in order to more accurately calculate the complexity of the project and take into account the risks.

ICO will be made only after the community receives all the answers to the questions.

Golem is our main competitor. The golem has two main drawbacks:
- They use only CPU for calculations. The GPU market is much more promising.
- ICO was cheatingly organized in my opinion. More than half of the tokens are located at three addresses(0x0536806df512d6cdde913cf95c9886f65b1d3462, 0x4319c142f7b6cd722fc3a49289b8a22a7a51ca1e, 0x168ae36b4386cea14475faa41498a0ea63c67dd7). This distribution of tokens is a huge risk for investors.

The previous project(Vavilon) did not start ICO. After feedback, we changed the project greatly, as a result of which this thread appeared.

ICO will be announced later. Now we want to receive feedback on the technical part of the project. Roadmap, team, FAQ, ICO smart contract code will be published before ICO.

The short answer is yes. There are differences in technical implementation and use cases. As far as I know, the elastic coin do not offer the ways to use GPU.

- Work in projects with confidential data that can not be published

Why do You need blockchain for this project??

Blockchain is necessary for mutual settlements between users. We will use Ethereum blockchain. In the future, some of the data will be transferred to our own blockchain, in order to reduce transaction fees and solve scalability problem.

- am not an IT person, but a potential renter of a top mining box, such as the upcoming RMC hardware (they claim investment pay-off is in 24 hrs)... and/or the top gaming computer... which hardware would be preferable for ARTAX from the investment/rental standpoint?
