Avalon DIY only costs $154 for the chips plus another $50 for the parts to make it in total $200 for 6.2gh/s versus 6.0gh/s for $2,795? a $2,595 different?
Avalon listen to the members here that is why there are so successful. Maybe their mentality is different. They are OUT of the game. We wasted our quality time on them. Keep changing their specs from the previous model is not good. Clearly means they cannot come out with a ASIC Product on time.
Before the changes $2,955 for 50gh/s to Mars $2,795 for 6gh/s??
NO one will used FPGA unless it can match ASIC pricing. FPGA is dead because it is very expensive.
on a scale from 1 to 10 (10 being most) how difficult would it be to diy asic with avalon chips?
