Good evening

Well, as stated above i've been trying for a whole week to get a 6 ASUS 470 Rig to function properly, but its been impossible since 3 of them get a CODE 12 (Not enough space Resources)

Im using windows 7, my Motherboard is a MSI Z270 A PRO. I obviously tried to get an answer by looking at others people post and all and the closer i got was a solution stating that if i ENABLE the 4G Crypto Currency Mining option i'd get my problem fixed; the thing is that once i change that status on the BIOS my windows just wont load; stays as a blank screen until i reverse the 4 G Crypto Currency Mining option into DISABLE. I also adjusted the Virtual memory into 30.000 - 50.000 and still got the CODE 12.

So, i was wondering if you guys could help me out and perhaps tell me what you think i might be doing wrong.

It is my first time working on this Motherboard and i must say its been a pain in the a*s but its already purchased, already unwrap and it just MUST work properly ASAP since im relying on this RIG to get me out of some issues.

Thanks in advance, Have a good day =)

Rig Description:

6 Asus 470 4gb

4gb RAM Memory

Motherboard  MSI Z270

LGA INTEL 1151 Processor

6 proved and working RISERS

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

I have the same motherboard.

Here is what you're gonna do:

- Install Windows 10 with Cryptocurrency Mining ENABLED + Windows 10 OS enabled on the BIOS.
- Before biosmodding the main GPU (video output), change the Windows from 10 to 7, even if you're using Windows 10, otherwise the GPU will not output video.
- Still on BIOS, activate multimonitor support even if you will not use onboard video. Look for that option... I don't remember where it is located.

If you're getting errors on the Device Manager, try using the AMD/ATI Pixel Clock Patcher (google it) and restart your computer.
Virtual Memory 16384 to 20000 is enough.

You can only get up to four AMD cards on Windows 7. You need to upgrade to Windows 10. There is supposedly a patch workaround to get more cards working with Windows 7, but I couldn't get it to work with the latest AMD drivers.

I am using the exact same motherboard on two rigs.  No problem with additional cards, buy you NEED Windows 10.  Create a USB stick with the Windows 10 media creation tool.  You can run it without activation.

All of my 4+ card AMD rigs are working on Windows 7 with no problem for more than 3 years. Try running the mod with administrator priviledges, its pretty weird that it wont work for you.

I did and it won't even boot in to Windows. Are you using the latest driver?

Or just upgrade to Windows 10 and you can get eight AMD + eight Nvidia cards on the same rig. You can still upgrade to Windows 10 for free from 7 or 8.1 if you check a box saying you use "assistive technologies"

I've used 17.4.x, 15.12 (Non RX cards), 16.7.3 and are all working fine for me. You dont need latest drivers as they may still be buggy.

I was able to get five card in Windows 7 since I also have a 1080 and the Nvidia driver installed. When I run the patcher it warns that there is more than one version installed and quits. If I force the patch it won't even boot in to Windows. I switched to Windows 10 and all six RX 480/580/570 and 1080 cards work.

Hmm, never had a rig mixed with AMD and Nvidia cards. So that may be the cause on Win7.
