Who said i got "modern" system for mining? I shared my results.. Are u mad at me now that i got to this point?
Why would I be mad at you?  Cheesy It's just you didn't explain the way you measured your "idle" consumption so I assumed it was measured with the GPUs installed in the system, just like most people do it.

Actually, only 1 card was installed. Smiley U got me :p

That's a great result then, looks like 570s are noticeably more efficient in ETH than 580s. If you tried cryptonight with them, how many H/s do you get?

Didn't try cryptonote yet. Will do it later and give you the results.

EDIT: 869 h/s per card  @ 319W from the wall total

I can concur that your results are valid - dual-mining eth and dcr with 29.6 and 500ish dcr only takes 135w per card.

My results are 1250w for 8x Nitro+ 580s dual-mining but I get 30.3 for eth and 750 dcr. My system idles at 53w without any GPUs plugged in. That means I consume 150w at the wall per card.

You might have your -dcri settings to around 15 or 20 thus the lower power consumption.

I build and sell rigs! I also sell ssd clones of the most stable Windows+Claymore+AMD driver combo you'd ever used.

That's some cool cards you've got! Smiley Memory made by Samsung? Did you pay for the timings you're using or are those some freely available ones?

1800~1900Hs XFX Vega 56@64 Bios Core 1300@875, mem 1100@905 about 160W per card

412Hs stable Sapphire Pulse RX560 2GB mShift 1500 core 1050, mem 1750 whitout voltage mod Sad

Using Zawawawa GateLessGate (command line version 0.1.3-pre6b-win64) o secret in this miner is use 2 threads Wink for AMD cards.

Does your card support the core voltages lower than the memory controller voltage? None of my Nitro 480 cards support it, though I've heard some people made it work with WattTool (but the offset setting was never functioning for any of my cards, except a couple gigabyte 470s). And these days, I don't even see the offset options in overdriventool. How do you do it?

Are you sure it works via the bios editing? I edit the voltage for all my cards in BIOS as well. But as far as I know, the polaris cards can't run with the core voltage lower than the memory controller voltage. So you might flash 887mv for the core voltage, and 950mv for the memory controller, but your core will be still supplied with 950mv as well. Which is quite possible, actually, considering how your 580/4 draws 130W on cryptonight. That's too much for 887mv, none of my 480/4 draw more than 100W on cryptonight, and they all run at 0.9V. And 480 and 580 cards are almost identical for the most part.

You can check it in GPU-Z, just look at the voltage in there, there's a chance that your core is not running @ 887mv but is @ 950mv. At least that's how it was with 470/480 cards, I don't know, maybe they changed it with 570/580. It used to be possible to set the core voltage lower than the mem. controller voltage with WattTool via an offset. But it only worked with some cards.

Hey guys!
I finally set up my first AMD rig with 4 RX580's (8Gb). I only had nVidias until now.

I have a question regarding dual mining.

Right now, I'm running Claymore, dual mining ETH + DCR. I'm getting pretty good hashrates, around 30Mh ETH/ 900Mh DCR per card (120Mh/3600MH total and undervolted to 850mv) however on DCR.suprnova I'm having a much lower balance than I should. According to whattomine I should be getting 0.037 DCR after 24 hrs, but I had only 0.311 DCR after running it for 25 hrs straight.
Right now, after 48 hrs I have like only 0.06DCR (instead of 0.075). That's 20% less than I should be getting. Way too much difference.

I do have a few rejected shares like 1% - 1,5% but the difference still seems too much!

Do you know if suprnova DCR pool is reliable? Am I missing something? Maybe you guys know a better DCR pool?
Or maybe I should just forget dual mining DCR and go for Lbry or SIA instead? (DCR seems convinient bcs impact on ETH hashrate is minimal).

What say you?

Do not use Whattomine as an absolute guide to what you will get, it is just giving you a snap-shot of what you might get at that particular moment in time. Factors such as changing difficulty, blocks found, pool luck, etc will all have an effect on your returns. I use Whattomine just as a guide and a comparison between algols to determine what I should mine.

Hello everyone,

I am totally newbie for all of  this. I have the Sapphire RX580 Nitro + Special Edition 8Gb SAMSUNG memory cards. I have the Win10 OS, I have put the BIOS plug on the card in position for flashing (also saved the original ROM), installed Win10-64Bit-Crimson-ReLive-Beta-Blockchain-Vorkloads-Aug23 drivers, used the atikmdag-patcher and in the MSI Afterburner set: CoreVoltage -162, LImit -20 Power, Core Clock 1152, Memories Clock 2250 and with these settings I get only 27.4Mh / s per card (now I have three cards).

Anyway, I tried to flash bios with some suggested straps, like putting this: 777000000000000022AA1C00B56A6D46C0551017BE8E060C006AE6000C081420EA8900AB0300000 01B162C31C0313F17
to 2: 1750 2: 2000 and 2: 2500 - but there is no change in Mh /s. Which  ever I have tried, it's always 27.4Mh /s ! (of course, there were some fallss in the attempts to use different drivers, not using afterburner ... and all the other things you can imagine someone new would try to do)

I've read that my cards should have at least 30Mh / s. Can someone help me?

Thanks in advance!

The core and memory settings are also confirmed like that in GPU-Z? Seems hard to believe that no matter which timings you use it also yields the same hashrate.
What is the PSU you are using? Do you hace any stability issues?

Hi, thanks for taking interest :-)

PSU is EVGA 750W GOLD. I have no stability issues. Memory and core settings shows the way I have set them (1152 Core and 2250 Memory Clock)
But, maybe you misunderstood me, because I have only tried to put this 777000000000000022AA1C00B56A6D46C0551017BE8E060C006AE6000C081420EA8900AB0300000 01B162C31C0313F17  to 2: 1750 2: 2000 and 2: 2500 and after that I was just trying to do things in Afterburner with no change in Mh/s
As I said I am complete starter (whole 4 days in this) so I am afraid to try any timings on my own. Should I try to copy 1:1750 to 2: 1750 2: 2000 and 2: 2500
or something else. I didn't saw any suggestions for my card Sapphire RX580 Nitro + Special Edition 8Gb with SAMSUNG memory. I have only saw some suggestions and rom for this card with Hynix memory. And for all I read settings for Hynix memory card are completely different than the one for Samsung memory cards.

Any suggestions for straps I could try?
