Does anyone know how I can get Gigabyte Radeon RX580 Aorus (Samsung memory) to hash at 28+
Mine was going at 24MH/s on EthOS, I flashed it in Windows and now my 6 cards only go at 17MH/s per card.

Is it possible and how?

112W are too high for 30mh. You can optimize it more.

How? minimum voltage I can set in claymore is 900mv  (0.88v) and I get 105watts (full card) for 27Mh/s on your  bios.  Can it go lower in bios mods?

I am using the performance timings Uber Mix 3.1 for Gigabyte Radeon Aeros RX580 8GB. I made a BIOS backup, then used the value stated:  777000000000000022CC1C00AD615C41C0590E152ECC8608006007000B031420FA8900A00300000 010122F3FBA354019 on the 2000 timing, yet now all my cards hash at ~17MH/s (stock was 24MH/s). Also, when I use ATI Flash and Program the BIOS, the machine says VBIOS updated successfully, but the machine hangs. I am also just trying to restore the original BIOS at this point to return to 24MH/s with no luck. Please advice

Yes, it can! I thank that I made a bios for you with lower power consumption. I made my Hynix 30MH ETH, 570MH SC on 90W.

On that first post there is nothing about UberMix. So where is some info about it and how to use it? I have read all pages of that thread but no one was able to give me right info. It looks like ubermix is just for some choosen ones...

OMG guys
If you read all the thread there is a lot off version of Uber-Mix. But I recommend 3.1. First post -> performance timings -> Uber-Mix 3.1. There is also 3.2 somewhere in the end of the thread if your GPU can't handle it...
I have RX 470 Asus Strix with Samsung and Elpida and I have 818H/s with Elpida and 800 with Samsung on Monero. But I bet this one is the best for Samsung, but you could use google and find another there are plenty of them. In that thread first post is also tool to decode that straps and make your own timings

BTW all these timings is very hard to set, it tooks hours and hours for maker and testers, so you should be more thankful that they spread it to public...

So you know the basics, use backuped bios in Polaris and cope Uber-Mix timmings in 1750 and 2000.

If you get lot of memory error try lower clocks it should go somewhere to 2100MHz but there is almost no difference between 2000MHz and 2100MHz with this timing...
If it didn't work you need not so agressive timings. In that thread is Uber-Mix 3.2 you have to find it.

However, no matter what I have tried, Windows 7 hangs as soon as the "Your VBIOS has been imported successfully" message and I have to hard reboot. Cards were definitely updated because as soon as I boot into EthOS, I get dready super high speed fans....and 17MH/S. Begging for help because these cards are just collecting dust instead of mining.

Yes, it can! I thank that I made a bios for you with lower power consumption. I made my Hynix 30MH ETH, 570MH SC on 90W.

Do you disable ROPS also?  I think Stilt's bios had ROPS disabled for extra power saving

Memory is Samsung? It should be cause vendor is 0x21, but you better check it!
I've insert Uber-Mix 3.1 to 2000Mhz so you need 2000 and more to be running. Check for mem errors.
I don't have RX 5xx or even Gigabyte cards, so I can't really tell what you need more, TDP and clocks are set very high for stock... so I didn't change it, should be fine.
BTW did you use GPU-Z for backup? RX 4xx bios have 256KB, but yours have 512KB? I think it's not right. Use ATI flash for backup.

It's made for Samsung memory only. You need different timings for every manufacture (Hynix,Elpida,Micron,Samsung). No matter if it's RX 480, 570 and 4 or 8GB. You can google them or made your own, all important what use to decode and encode is in the thread i've posted here like 10 times. Or PM me I can give you timings I'm using right now (I need tester for Hynix anyway I don't have any Hynix card but in future maybe so I need to test what timings are good.)

So, I have used the BIOS provided and I verified in GPU-Z that the memory is DDR5 (SAMSUNG) on all cards. Bad news. Somehow it is STILL hashing only at 17MH/s now! Even if I restore to original BIOS which was actually exported from ATI Flash and not GPU-Z. Now, what doesn't make sense is how come it does not return to the original hash rate even though I flashed to the original BIOS. Additionally, I did update to EthOS 1.2.2 from 1.2.1 and everything went smooth. Does modifying BIOS in Windows also require special configuration in EthOS (I assume so and I do have global mem set to 1250 and just set globalcore to 2000).

I am completely lost as to what is going on. I do have 3 more identical cards sealed in the box which I am going to open, benchmark to check if they get to 24MH/s and extract the BIOS to hopefully restore to 24 and not lose money by being down.

All help is much appreciated if you can solve this for me, I would love to send you a donation.

This has to be related to EthOS 1.2.2 update because even out of the box card is hashing ETH only at 17MH/s now. Any idea what could be the culprit here? I am using MSI Z97 Gaming 5 MOBO.

I don't mine ETH neither have RX 5xx series and ETHOS... It should work if this bios is correct one. Try 1300MHz clock and 2000Mhz memory this should be running like hell. Could you try to mining in Windows? Also in Windows you maybe need wipe drivers after flashing. It sometimes doesn't work very well. Try flash orig bios, reboot, then modded one and also run DDU. Reboot and install AMD drivers, apply patch and reboot again. If it's  still not working there is problem with card or with bios.

I just got a new card out of the box and it mines at 16-17MH/s as well. Not sure what the hell happened but somehow I went from shitty low 24MH/s when I was hoping to get 28-29 to 16.
