About Project:

theFunction.io is an Ethereum blockchain platform based investment project using smart contract in its operations.

A smart contract holds every deposit on its balance sheet and makes contributions of payments according to the conditions under specifications.  

The contract is executed in a predefined manner with no subject to modifications. At the same time, the contract code, its balance and the list of transactions are made available to the public and anyone can check them.


Terms:

Making an investment in the Function will earn you a 3.3% daily interest of the deposits you make. You will earn from the investment through interest income which is paid by a smart contract every day to your Ethereum wallet.

The daily project commission is 3.7% of the contract balance amount. Investments will be made from the commissions through project adverts.

Our interest is also on the long-term work of the contract because it is through these long-term engagements that we make proceeds.

The contract lacks deposit return function. This is because it is impossible to create a fully decentralized project with a return function as such function exhausts the entire balance of the contract within the first month of payments. Our choice is aligned to the decentralization and subsequently creating a stable income for our investors.


Differences:

Transparency
The contract fully corresponds to every information that the site indicates. The terms for the smart contract, every investment and payments are available to the public and can be verified any time.

Reliability
The smart contract code is stored in Ethereum and cannot be modified. Terms as well cannot be modified by anyone, even by the creators.

Punctuality
As an Ethereum member, you can call the PerformPayouts function from which you will receive payments of your investments regardless of our will. Without its call, we will not receive payment, either, so do not worry.

No matter the explanation, the fact that the site is promising a particular return makes it one. A gambling site does not promise a fixed return what it does to prepare and present a fair playing ground where one can make a run for his or her resources but with this, it negates what gambling stands for to the best of my understanding of what gambling is all about.

Strangely, I always believed that gambling and risks are almost synonymous. Probably it's all because  i am just crazy

Because theFunction is not an ordinary HYIP project, but an absolutely decentralized HYIP based on a smart contract, the administration will not make a "scam" when it gains the necessary amount, you can check that no one has access to the balance of the contract. (every one affraid  HYIP because SCAM)

All statistics are completely open, it is on the blockchain, with simple calculations it is possible to understand whether it is a good time for investments or not.

If you heard that the pyramid schemes are bad, it does not mean that you can not earn on them, like any high-risk investments they are ready to bring a good income. If the contract works more than 30 days, then you get a profit.

I will keep a close eye on the project and consider daily payments, after which cyclically give advertising. There are a lot of sites and ad networks for HYIP advertising. The main simple thing is that new investments should cover daily payments(but even without new investments project can live enough long time), there is no need for sharp jumps in investments, it is not such a difficult rule for long-term work.

Hi theFunction,
I have read your code and I must say that it is extremely weak.
You never check the balance of the contract, so sooner or later the sends in  performPayouts will start to throw exception, causing a denial of service to your app. Which means, freezing all  the  money left.

Then, it is vulnerable to several attacks. For instance,  a player could create a contract to  send to you a very small amount of ether (since there is no minimal amount), whose fallback function contains a throw. In this way, function performPayouts would throw exception at line 105 and your app will  never *ever* send payouts  out again. The remaining ether would  be frozen forever. I was wondering why no one of the players  realized this.
But, to be fair,   players did not even realize that  it would take at least 30 days to see the initial investment back (**if** people  kept on playing). Which is never the case for Ponzi schemes, not even now. People have already stopped and soon there would be no more money left on the contract.   I suspect players cannot do their math.
