Hello Everyone,

Thank you -ck for the eye opener.

I look forward to contributing to this pool.  I only three Antminers s9 so far for now.
Everyones posts have been very helpful, a lot of questions that I have had have been answered in others questions.
There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Hello all, super noob here. Have 3 S9's ordered from ebay for the late Jan batch, praying this order doesn't get cancelled. Hopefully be online by the 2nd week of Feb. Looks like a great community and I can't wait to join in the fun.

Not yet.
The height changes as the blockchain moves along.

Congrats on making the payout list!  Grin

I don't think you found a block, there has been no payout.

Thanks for the replies everyone,
The initial issue was my A6 setup without an AUC converter. I had tried some recommendations but I couldn't get it to chooch.
Once I got the AUC it worked fine.
Long story but I'm down for now again hopefully back later.
Thanks again

Looks like he has..."pool1.worker" were the address should be

The ADDRESS IS the worker...regardless of how many you point at the pool (I point some or all machines to pool but ALLways just have the one payout address as The Worker.)

Paste the ADDRESS as the worker
Password x is fine
Pool address is fine

there should not be ANY ...."Worker.1"  etc...just the address
Best part is rewards go direct to wallet address AND have the little "MINED" symbol..
That means they are VIRGINS...you created them and they have NEVER been sent or received.

Hi, This is my first time mining and don’t understand what the two numbers between the Diff and the GSD are, or their significance. Could someone please explain. Looking at the 1st and 2nd accepts does that mean the 1st one hashed 89 times and the 2nd one hashed 3,100 times?

Code:
[2017-12-28 22:56:08.481] Accepted 02dfa349 Diff 89/80 GSD 0
[2017-12-28 22:56:09.434] Accepted 152afa6a Diff 3.1K/80 GSD 1

[2017-12-28 22:56:36.792] Accepted 02de3e2d Diff 89/80 GSD 2

No, your minimum difficulty of the shares to be send to the pool are set to 80 so what you're seeing is all the shares that met that target. In between you've found shares below 80 but those are not reported to the pool.

There are people in that payout that haven't mined in a long time, they just accumulated a lot early on, so it won't correlate with current hashrate.

hi sorry to sound stupid but im new to mining, can somebody explain how payments are calculated? i dont understand herp and derp and im just curious how payouts work if you arent on the payout list. i dont have a big miner only 1.15th so i dont expect much, if i understand it correctly the only payout is if somebody within the pool finds a block then there is a payout for only the miners on the payout list and everybody else just accumulates herpes. so if im not on the list how do i get on the list do i need more herp?, is my hash rate even enough to make it? im going to try for about a month and see what happens but if no blocks are found then no payout? i dont pay for electricity so im not really losing anything so i take this as an experiment and learning experience. thanks in advance to whoever explains this for me. and happy new year.

I think this might be a more userful list. It should show the top 50 contributors to the pool over the last 7 days.

hi sorry to sound stupid but im new to mining, can somebody explain how payments are calculated? i dont understand herp and derp and im just curious how payouts work if you arent on the payout list. i dont have a big miner only 1.15th so i dont expect much, if i understand it correctly the only payout is if somebody within the pool finds a block then there is a payout for only the miners on the payout list and everybody else just accumulates herpes. so if im not on the list how do i get on the list do i need more herp?, is my hash rate even enough to make it? im going to try for about a month and see what happens but if no blocks are found then no payout? i dont pay for electricity so im not really losing anything so i take this as an experiment and learning experience. thanks in advance to whoever explains this for me. and happy new year.
Just keep hashing. 1TH is enough to easily get into the payouts list, it just takes time.
