Funny how people keep asking the same question in different ways - miners here earn the same as at any other pool over a long enough period, except they don't pay any fees.

Thank you and Computer Genie for having enough patience for the same questions from people who can't be bothered to read even 2 threads worth of this forum to be considered saints!  You are a saint in my eyes!

Side note, is anyone selling any of their old working miners?  I'd be interested in purchasing some equipment that can produce more than a Antminer U1.

If you want to go for something mid tier and not too expensive i'd recommend getting a 3 pack of used 500GH/s BFL Monarchs from Miningrigs.net (https://www.miningrigs.net/product/bflmonarch/). I've got a few and they run great at around 50°C, just require a PSU to power them. You can also replace the fans to make them silent too without inhibiting the performance which is nice.

It can be hard to find old miners other than massively over priced on ebay, maybe post on the market however i have not had much luck in the past. Hope you find something you like Smiley

It's not funny for me to ask how long and how much I can earn here mining ±90T. I see some got a quite impressive amount of the found block and want to understand what to expect if i'll join here...

So from what i have now learnt, basically all pools are equally profitable. The only things that change are the distance between payouts, pool fees and difficult changes.

On a mining calculator, its suggest that you would get around 0.06086BTC per week, or 0.2608BTC per month (about 4 times previous). Its like me giving you £1 per day or £30 at the end of the month that is all.

Now if the pool has fees, you could expect it to drop around 2% or more, but with ckpool, there are none :)

Its also based on luck, we might find a larger block or smaller block so that could also effect your return by maybe 5-10%.

The only other factor is difficulty, if we don't find a block between the difficulty changes then it could get harder for us if it increases, or easier if it decreases.

Let's say that a block seems to be found here every month, you'll expect around 0.2608BTC, which would be more than most other pools due to their fees.

Hope that helps :)

It is funny (you might want to get a dictionary and learn how that word equates to irony). There are probably more mining profit calculators on the interwebz than there are miners, how did you end up purchasing 90TH worth of miners without having ever used one?

If you have to ask "why?", you wouldn`t understand my answer.

Welcome!
I joined in late December, 2017 and three have been found since then. One with a difficulty in the low 90s, one with a difficulty in the 150s, and another I don't recall. Hopefully that puts things in perspective for you.

Hello! I just joined your pool with my lonely but hardworking S9 miner, I understand that it's stupid to ask how much I will receive, but what is the probability of finding a block by my miner, with an average speed of 12.8-13.3 Th/s?

Calculator is certainly good, does not always coincide with reality, but wanted to know about the real possibility of my S9.
I will not distract .... sorry Sad

No worries.

For solo mining, if this pool mines at around 7PH/s (7000TH/s) and finds a block around every month, your S9 at 13TH/s lets say is about 1.8% 0.18% of the pool. This would mean that it should take around 55 555 months of mining for 1 block on average. It could take 5 mins or 5 years, but that is the estimated average over time. This could also increase with further network difficulty too.

EDIT: 1% of 7000 is 70 not 7 Huh Grin

555 months? a long time of course .. but anyway thanks for the information, I'm going to probably look for something easier Smiley

e) none of the above
The question was "what is the probability of" and that is the answer; because, math.

After reading this forum, I saw how much panic there was from the low hash, and at some point the pool was on the verge of closure, as here were happy with the minimal rise of the hash .... I am glad that the situation has stabilized in you, which allows you to be ironic, and in fact reject small miners  Smiley
