50% diff, 160PH.

50% diff the day after we found a block --->> WOW!!!

If you are not mining at ckpool.org, you are just doing it wrong.

...Can someone clarify?
Did you copy that before we hit the block or at the time you posted?

At the time I posted.

Code:
My 5 min: 63.7G

If we hit a block right now, I'd get:

     0.061129% of the current payout

     0.00770102 BTC

     $59.17 (at $7683.99 BTC/USD)

This is my current stats. I've still got some juice left after I've been mining with Antminer S9 units (few of them). So I am in cooling off phase. But still, website says derp 0.0077 and your website says that too. So I am getting payouts or not?

EDIT:

Is there any "normal" way to tell if I am getting block or I am "postponed"?

Click on the "work" tab. You'll see if you're in the payout or postponed list.

I'm not sure why you keep trying to confuse yourself.
http://ckpool.org/pool/pool.work is the current, up to the minute, JSON data showing the result if we hit a block at that instant.
The page you're looking at on my site uses that exact data.

While the behind-the-scenes math is complex, the concept isn't:
Payouts = payouts
Postponed = postponed

If the JSON says that you're getting paid this block, then you'll get paid this block.
If the JSON says that you're postponed, then you'll get paid in a future block.

If you have to ask "why?", you wouldn`t understand my answer.

What's up with the stats page?

for 6 hours we are +160 P but active users reports only about 60 P
Share rate certainly seems to confirm we are indeed over 160P

everyone's derp is taking a beating (well not the top dog/whale of course)
Strange

The stats for the main miner are off because they have 12000 miners which the hashmeter can no longer measure accurately and is only showing 52ph.

Oh darn..I was hoping some mysterious benevolent entity was just being generous and mining without a payout address.
But of course the derp's say otherwise

So they are literally off the charts...cool....
Now if they could just find a few blocks and help us out of our bad luck slump.

Pretty much. It's a bit of a slump but we don't have that many blocks so it wouldn't take much to bring us back in line. At least I know I can trust the drivers that run on them since, well, they're mine.

Are you able to discern if these 12000 miners are the same or are they rotated out w new ones after x number of hours of burn in? If rotated any idea of the time frame for the rotation of each miner? Thanks!

I can't. The rate of connection and disconnection is high and most of them are mining to the same workername.

From a pool standpoint, who cares? What is the pool difference you imagine there would be if 100PH was made up of 12000 chips, 12000 units, or 120000 units swapped out 10 times in batches of 12000?

If you have to ask "why?", you wouldn`t understand my answer.

Just doing the math on validity of cypto(BTC) difficulty percentages and probabilities. My hypothesis or question I am working is - does changing from the baseline /original platform (a defined set of specifix miners) alter the difficulty %?  For those familiar w the Monty Hall problem regarding probability (ie difficulty %) consider it this way. After you choose door 1 and Monty opens door 3 in theory you should change your original door to door 2. What if Monty instead shows you 3 new doors(replaced miners) w the third door open does that impact the probability (difficulty%) or should you still switch your choice to door two with the new set of doors?  Sorry, this is math geek stuff. But isn't that what BTC really is with great programmers behind it?

1 hash = 1 hash
Unlike the scenario you present, hashes have no "stay with my 1st choice" option; every hash is nothing more than a random guess with new nonce and work being regularly distributed. You can't apply the math of a static run of trying to find 1 block with no outside forces (and an unlimited time span) and expect it to apply in active practice.

You line of thinking is akin to buying apples and oranges to see if grapes taste like bananas.

If you have to ask "why?", you wouldn`t understand my answer.

Diffs sum to 1312.1 / 11 blocks = Avg. of 119.28/block (ignoring network diff increases) OUCH!!!

So basically the last 3 blocks add to 548.5

first 8  we were  765.1/8 =  95.637

these last 3 are 182.83

brings us up to 119.28

but these are very small samples of blocks.

no cause for worry.

pop a few 25 blocks and back on track

I mine alt coins with https://simplemining.net...
I see BTC as the super highway and alt coins as taxis and trucks needed to move transactions.

If you really want to get technical, the solve rate divisor is actually +1 (due to the "1st" block actually being 2 blocks that were both under 87% during beta).

Funny that no one complained about luck for the block we hit at 30% of expected or the one at 1.5%  Roll Eyes

If you have to ask "why?", you wouldn`t understand my answer.

...So I am getting payouts or not?
EDIT:
Is there any "normal" way to tell if I am getting block or I am "postponed"?

I'm not sure why you keep trying to confuse yourself.

Don't blame it on me. I am just asking, I've seen stats and info there, you getting xx amount in next block. And I didn't. So why I would not expect that this is true?
You expect every new user to know that?

http://ckpool.org/pool/pool.work is the current, up to the minute, JSON data showing the result if we hit a block at that instant.
The page you're looking at on my site uses that exact data.

While the behind-the-scenes math is complex, the concept isn't:
Payouts = payouts
Postponed = postponed

If the JSON says that you're getting paid this block, then you'll get paid this block.
If the JSON says that you're postponed, then you'll get paid in a future block.

That's not very efficient way to show people this.
Your website and ckpool user stats page could say just POSTPONED or TO BE PAID NEXT and that's all.
If you postponed then you not getting anything. Right now, I need to check two places before I know if I am getting anything and if so, how much.
That's not very friendly user experience, that's all.

...[stuff]....
That's not very friendly user experience, that's all.
Point in fact, if you don't like the web page(s) that your fellow miner and/or the 0-fee pool op wrote for free (out of the kindness of their hearts), you can always sit down and write a better one on your own time....

EDIT:
...Right now, I need to check two places before I know if I am getting anything and if so, how much...
You, literally, quoted a single place (1 less than 2) to go which gives you "if I am getting anything and if so, how much"....

Edit 2:
...I've seen stats and info there, you getting xx amount in next block. And I didn't.....
You didn't, because we haven't hit that next block yet. No matter how I code a page, I can't make it prepay you for a block we haven't found!

If you have to ask "why?", you wouldn`t understand my answer.
