Do you plan to invest all of your bitcoin? There a lot of casinos which offers bankroll investment, but there is no guarantee for investment that will always give you profit and we can't say for sure this site will be the best to invest on. Im happy that you know quite well how exactly the trading looks, that you need a lot of time to earn anything through that way.
But you said you are not able to do that, so there are basically few options:

You can simply invest the money into bankroll of bitcoin casinos, for example cryptogames.com or bitdice.com.
There is always a possibility to lend your money to other bitcoin users, for some interest as a return. You can do that through bitcointalk.org forum ( marketplace --> lending ) or through some websites.
If you want to choose the second option, then I really recommend you using poloniex lending, because their rates are really great and you are pretty much risk-free, because they cover you up.

Altcoin is a very good market today. A lot of altcoin that have good prospects, in altcoin trading even we can benefit hundreds of percent of the price. Even if we fail, then we will not lose all the money we have. That's the advantages of altcoin than playing gambling and HYIP.

In my own opinion, investing in ICO of some coins is also very risky. There are new coins before that has a very promising roadmap but later turned on to Shitcoins! I suggest do some research before you invest in ICO. I agree that investing in HYIP is not profitable because there are lots of HYIP Scam sites. I suggest invest in trading but before you do that, do some research first to minimize the risk and always put in mind that trading is mostly for medium to long term investment.

Investment in the casino is like to put your money in holed pocket , Because Investment in gambling can lost all of your bitcoin , it is because the Investment in the gambling site will use to make Gambling with the gamblers who visit at the casino , so you are making indirectly gambling and no doubt Gambling is always results into loss .Even after this info if you want to invest then I will suggest you moneypot .
But always be careful that you can't make big profit with your bitcoin , So first calculate that how much time this will take to return your Investment ( if everything goes well) .

It is not a smart idea to invest into casino sites. Instead just keep your Bitcoin and wait for the price to continually rise.

yes that's right if you will able to determined what project would be good for investing and if the project will have good progress

You can try investing in many sites but be aware just invest in a trusted sites investing is very risky and many investment sites are just going to scam your money to deposited to them i don't recommend you to invest but maybe you can do trading or buy and sell just invest your money in bitcoin mining or gambling site.

Playing in a casinos are not investment unless you have learn tricks how to play on casinos,but since you are asking how to invest in casinos I recommend that you do not play casinos and just do trading buy some coins with good potential in the future and hold it,the profit is slow but it is sure to gain profit.

You can find good relaible casino at the gambling section of this thread, but my two words advice is why you want to spend and risk 0.5 btc on Casino and gambling. You can invest half in an investment sites and keep half for trading.

I would strongly recommend you not to put money in online casinos or any other online scheme, then either go bust or they reject your claims. I have seen many incidents so I would suggest you not to fall for this. As far investment is considered, Bitcoin is itself an investment, so no need to invest somewhere else. It's prices shall most probably go up. You could try looking at lending section and land it to the most trusted people for a interest.

Since you don't have to do trading and wanted to invest in casino sites bankroll, I suggest two gambling site for you. First is crypto-games which for me is one good option to invest in since they have many players playing in their casino site and many gamble a lot of bitcoin there and lose. Another option is moneypot but I don't recommend investing big in it. Search others as well better diversify your investments onto different casino sites.

0.5 BTC is a bunch of money to invest with if you know how to properly split your investment via Bitcoin then that amount should make you a bunch of money. I would suggest that you do some sort of Altcoin trading if you want to make money without losing too much money in an investment just in case things go wrong. There’s plenty of coins that are trying to look for people to invest in before the price rises, visit at coinmarketcap.com when you have the chance.

I agree, if you are really want to invest you should only invest a small amount until you make sure that what you are doing is worth putting more into it,  especially trading since it requires more knowledge and experience and a lot of observation to the market.

So, you really need to take your time learning it before actually trying to invest in it, personally I think the best way to invest money today is cloud mining, even though many people will disagree with me, but some of the legit mining companies have some options that really pay and for a really reasonable price so you can check some reviews to know the right ones.

I think Safedice is the best out there when it comes to investments. Just dont gamble the profits afterwards.

Yes it's true I also earn a lot in trading , trading btc to Fiat or trade it to altcoin. You can have a profit morethan double if you have experience how to play in it . Just always remember there is also a risk in trading.
