But the reason is that Roma's Coach De Rossi, has stated that Roma does not need any player or name who cannot play according to Roma's standard. With all the indications from the preseason games and the first match of the season against Verona today that they eventually got beaten it is clear that they don’t want to keep him anymore. He has been left out of the squad to look for a new team which wouldn’t be the case if they don’t want to sell. Napoli kind of missed the train selling him or you could say that they went all in and were hoping that he keeps on performing like he did in season 22/23. That was an excellent season and I remember that his price tag was 120+ million, but I doubt that any club would be still willing to pay that amount. That season he had 36 goal participations in 39 games, which is really strong taking into account that he started with a relatively severe injury into the season. But I think some clubs had doubts that he would be able to keep playing on that level. It was just an excellent year for him, but Napoli at some point asked for 150 million I think.

In season 23/24 he missed a ton of Serie A games, I think about 1/3 of the games in the league only. And in the Champions League the journey was over in the round of 16, which means he couldn't really present himself in top games. He also missed the Supercopa semifinal and final because he had to play for the national team. It wasn't going well for him and now he is stuck with a mediocre club as I don't think that Napoli is competitive enough with the team they have right now. Additionally they had a horrible start now.

Overhauling is a great idea but not all of the squad completely, you'd have to mix the experience players with the young players so they can blend together and complement themselves. Getting upset would be dumb, no regrets now, only lessons and actions if he must advance forward. I'm cool showing the exit to Mauricio Pochetino but then, not forcefully pushing out hard-working players in the squad all because you want to make profits.

his inability to differentiate owning a football club and owning a regular business is what has landed his club in the situation they've found themselves. He is just too interested in his business and don't want to listen to what players, fans and even the coach is saying. Was he expecting to win against Manchester City with these young lads that lacks a lot of experience? How do you work with a team where almost all the players have zero experience apart from natural talents? Who is even the best Chelsea player? Is it palmer, cucurela? Madueke or Jackson? All these guys on a normal day will still be average players if they are to be featured in the Manchester City team. Look at how halland was bullying all of them because they obviously aren't a match for him. Jackson has been a big flop and yet he is the number 9 man to play same position that halland plays and you want to get a win? He's just a joker that needs to wake up. And he even went on to sack a Coach that was blending well with the players? Who even does that?

He has not seen a worse disgrace yet, if he continues with this same squard and doesn't want to sign a much experience players at least 3 that can bring on the matured personality into the team, he should be ready to get multiple of disappointment in the coming games. How do you work with a team where almost all the players have zero experience apart from natural talents? Who is even the best Chelsea player? Is it palmer, cucurela? Madueke or Jackson? All these guys on a normal day will still be average players if they are to be featured in the Manchester City team. Look at how halland was bullying all of them because they obviously aren't a match for him. Jackson has been a big flop and yet he is the number 9 man to play same position that halland plays and you want to get a win? He's just a joker that needs to wake up. And he even went on to sack a Coach that was blending well with the players? Who even does that?

He has not seen a worse disgrace yet, if he continues with this same squard and doesn't want to sign a much experience players at least 3 that can bring on the matured personality into the team, he should be ready to get multiple of disappointment in the coming games. For the long term, the Chelsea team is very good but when you're looking at thier ability to competing in a competitive league like the premier league with these current combo in all the other clubs, there is no two ways about it, they need more experienced attackers.

Todd Boehly is a very impatient person in my opinion, and it seems he wants everything to be obtained instantly. Sacking Mauricio Pochettino is not a solution and it is actually a mistake. Maybe it would help a little if the replacement was a classy manager, which can really make a difference. But as for Enzo Maresca, I doubt that he will be better than what Pochettino has done.

It is not surprising that he felt angry when faced with the fact that Chelsea lost to Man City because what he had in mind was that what he was trying to change would make Chelsea strong but it turned out to be very different from his expectations. Nor would it be surprising if in the near future, Chelsea will be blindly looking for a striker, whatever the price and the way, and they might even chase Osimhen again.
