Sacking Pep Guardiola would make things worse. Because as difficult as Man City are right now, they are still in a safe position in the EPL, it's just a matter of winning trophies, not an excuse to be bad overall. In the Champions League they can still qualify for the next round, so their current condition is not the end of everything.

If Manchester city fans are really interested to see pep getting sacked, then I'm sorry to say, that's a very big shame. A top manager that has won literally almost everything for the club. It seems some people are quick to forgetting some things in a hurry. Just imagine one of City's previous game(I think it's against Bournemouth or Spurs), can't really remember now, City fans where actually leaving the stadium before the end of the game. If fans can't appreciate and support a manager in times of trial and failure like this, then it's obvious that they are only supportive in times of Victory.

Personally, I don't see the City management sacking pep. If it's even possible to add more years to the recent contract that he signed, I believe they will do so. As it stands, I'm not even sure of a better candidate to fill his space if he was to be sacked.

Manchester City need to change the goalkeeper, Ederson play like shit recently.

I suggest Manchester City to sign De Gea, I'm sure everyone will happy with this transfer, Manchester City will get a great goalkeeper, while De Gea will happy to play in big team, Fiorentina will happy to get a lot of money from the transfer.

Fuck the "De Gea can't build up", a goalkeeper must able to made great saves, not play like a midfielder.

Do you think Manchester City's only problem is goalkeeper Ederson? Ederson was criticized even when Manchester City were doing well. There are too many problems in the team and the De Gea transfer will not solve them. Of course his saves would have been very useful for City but City have been in a slump lately. De Gea is an underrated goalkeeper and I would love to watch him at City but the mental breakdown in the team needs to be stopped. They have a manager who is self destructive.

I believe Liverpool's management knows what they're doing and they'll still extend his contract even though it's for a year, I know selling Salah would come with lots if profits for them but their are some players you don't easily lose in a team and Salah is one of them, he's like the best player in that team if not the best and has helped them right from Jurgen Klopp's regime till this point therefore he deserves the honour from the management, the fans love him infact he's their favourite and losing him would be very disappointing to the fans. I think the management won't want to disappoint their loyal fans who's stood by them in both tough and good times therefore Mo Salah's contract might be extended for about a year or more if possible. However if peradventurely they decide to release or sell him off for profits, it would be quite difficult to find a youngster to replace Salah for the moment.
Wether Liverpool extends Salah 's contract or not, I don't think the player has anything to lose because he has won it all at Liverpool, he might as well just decide to move to the middle east, maybe Saudi or Qatar, I think a lot of clubs would be dying to have him wear their shirt, so it's left for Liverpool to decide if they would love to retain him or not because their silence is creating so much suspicion about the Salah 's future.

On the side of Mohammed Salah he still have his heart for the club. We all know that he is still in a good shape and has been very proactive for the club too,  and this should make the coach persuade the club to extend his contract to one or two years, except the coach thinks otherwise.
Mo Salah contract could being an hot rumour recently this because Mo Salah at the interview give the reaction that he is more likely to out than in and Arne Slot and some players are encourage Liverpool that Liverpool should be giving Mo Salah contract extension immediatelly this because although Liverpool has attempts to look for the players as the replacement of him but there is no guarantee those players can performing well so rather than let Mo Salah leave and bought new players then it's better to give Mo Salah contract extension however if new contract hasn't signing until January then Mo Salah has a right to make a deal with new club before this season ended

That's just my assumption and indeed we don't expect that to happen because Pep Guardiola has turned Manchester City into an extraordinary club in the midst of such tight competition.
It's good to learn that you are assuming what you just said because it would never be a thoughtful idea for Manchester City management to think otherwise to sack Pep Guardiola as this time Manchester City is facing a bad time in football. If Pep Guardiola didn't get the problem that Manchester City is currently facing fixed, which coach will do that? Are they forgetting too early that Pep Guardiola is among the best coaches in the world? Having him sacked today, there will be big clubs who would like to sign him the next day to their clubs. In the end, Manchester City lost, and Pep Guardiola stands to gain a lot
Sacking Pep Guardiola would make things worse. In the Champions League they can still qualify for the next round, so their current condition is not the end of everything.
In today conditions, Manchester City management and fans should still be able to support Guardiola,
Because after all he has made many big changes to the Manchester City squad so far so if they sack Guardiola just because of a bad performance in one season of course it is a fool, besides that I think, if Manchester City sacks him as coach then it is likely that there will be many big teams lining up to recruit Guardiola later, because Guardiola is one of the best coaches in the world and it's hard to find a reliable coach like him, but fortunately as far as they still entrust Guardiola as a coach, because, I think they realize that there is no better coach for City than Guardiola at the moment.

There is no way Liverpool will let Mo Salah go without holding talks to extend his contract. Mo Salah has become an important player in the Liverpool squad because he has performed exceptionally well this season, he has scored 12 goals + 10 assists from 18 games. He is still very happy to defend Liverpool, this is reinforced by his increasingly improving performances. In my opinion, he is very open if Liverpool offers him a new contract, but in the end all decisions are in the hands of the club's management.

In the past, Victor Osimhen had made clear his intentions to play in the English Premier League but his desired destination was Chelsea but since the London club couldn't meet his financial demands during the summer, a move to Manchester United I think is possible. Joshua Zirkzee since he arrived Manchester United have struggled to announce himself so if he'll be sold to make space for Victor Osimhen, then i think it'll be a great move for Manchester United. Under new manager Ruben Amorim, I think Victor Osimhen will flourish effortlessly.
I agree with you. It is well known that Victor Osimhen was looking forward to playing for Chelsea before the deal was cancelled, I think Osimhen really wants to play in the English Premier League. It will be good for his career if he comes to a more competitive league and he is able to perform. Victor Osimhen’s physicality, pace and clinical finishing makes him an ideal striker for the Premier League, it is important for Osimhen to choose the best club to join. If he makes the mistake to sign for a “wrong club” just because they are a big club he will regret it. Manchester United needs Osimhen but Victor Osimhen do not need Manchester United.

There is no way he is actually going to stay in this team for a long period of time. He is in the stream only because he wants to prove to himself that he is worthy of playing in the big clubs in the big leagues. And he is obviously going to play as well as he can so that the bigger teams actually target him. With Icardi being injured I think he is going to get more and more playing time. If he had made a move earlier, he probably could have gotten a better team. But I think now if he is able to get a better team, it is going to be earned. And people are obviously going to respect that a lot more.

Although the positions of both clubs are the same in the standings, there is actually a slight difference between Pep Guardiola and Carlo Ancelotti.
City has experienced many obstacles due to injured players so that is not Pep's fault and is quite acceptable, and it is impossible for 1 team to always be at the top.
Meanwhile, Real Madrid does not look good when players who have been targeted for a long time come to the club, it could be that it is not Ancelotti's fault, it is just strange that they are now below Barcelona.

Firing both coaches could be an option but it would be better to do it at the end of the season because doing it in the middle of the season might only make it difficult to improve the position.
But what are the chances that both of them will be fired? I think it is very small because for City and Real Madrid, their current coaches are still the best with many titles that have been presented to the club.
I mean Real Madrid has way more injuries than City, so if we are going to give someone credit for doing badly, that should be Ancelotti now Pep. Obviously Pep is battling with injuries too, mainly Rodri, they couldn't find anyone to replace him so far, not within the club, they may actually end up try to get someone there during january transfer window to try and replace him, but how do you replace a Ballon D'or player? Same logic goes for Ancelotti, Vinicious is gone now, for a whole month at least, and that means they are going to face some difficulties as well.

I believe both are within reason to lose games, it's not looking that bad, and we could potentially end up with a bad result for both of them in the near term, makes sense to be that bad when you are losing that many players. I believe we are going to get a much better result from both of them when their players return, but until then we are not going to do that much better at all.

I also read a lot of rumors about Moh Salah. But in the current conditions, Liverpool desperately needs Moh Salah. Even though he is 32 years old, he is still quite strong in running and responsible for the team. Moh Salah's performance is also good, so it is imperative that the Management extend his contract for 1-2 years. He can still compete with other players. But indeed I think the management is confused, because they have to start getting used to not depending on Moh Salah.

There's no doubt that Salah is an exceptional player who has greatly contributed to Liverpool's success. However, I'm unsure if Liverpool desperately needs him. The club's current silence on the matter doesn't convey a sense of urgency.

The recent interview where Salah mentioned that he hasn't received any offers or had discussions with Liverpool regarding a contract extension is raising concerns . With his contract set to expire soon, everyone is eager to see if Liverpool will retain him.

The fact that Liverpool hasn't made any bold moves to retain Salah raises questions. It's possible that they're considering other options or weighing their priorities. Regardless of the outcome, Salah is an outstanding player, and as an Arab player, he'll likely have opportunities to join another team, even if it's not his hometown club.

Liverpool are currently in a delicate situation, with Trent, Van Dyke, and Salah's contracts expiring at the end of the summer.

It will be not a big problem for him, since he is Arab the Saudi league will cover him with money for going to play near home.

Liverpool are currently in a delicate situation, with Trent, Van Dyke, and Salah's contracts expiring at the end of the summer.

It could be negotiation strategy because he is by far the best scorer in the Premier League with 16 points consisting of 10 goals and 6 assists and then comes Haaland with 12 goals and no assists. by making this public, he knows that the fans will initiate an outcry and put Liverpool under pressure to give Salah the best contract ever if he keeps playing like this. However, Salah knows that is his contract expires, he will get the best offers in his life as there is no fee to be paid if he transfers. It is similar what was the case with Mbappe.

Liverpool knows that if they want to keep him, it is going to be very expensive since they also would have to offer him a signing bonus. But he will have alternatives anyway. He is 32 now and probably has 2 or 3 great years to go. He doesn't play the most physically intensive style and is in a good condition. The fans would definitely want him to stay and that reduces the scope for negotiations for Liverpool. If they lose him and it comes out that it was because they weren't willing to pay these extra 3 million per year, then the fans would attack Liverpool instead of Salah for being greedy as long as he plays like this.

Salah released an interview not so long time ago saying that he had received no new offers from liverpool or other clubs.
So he is still waiting for something.

It will be not a big problem for him, since he is Arab the Saudi league will cover him with money for going to play near home.

It's a significant deal for him because if it wasn't, he wouldn't have gone online to announce or discuss it; he wants to stay and continue to play in Europe; he'll always have nice offers outside of Europe, but he wants to be at the top of his game before the next AFCON. Liverpool are currently in a delicate situation, with Trent, Van Dyke, and Salah's contracts expiring at the end of the summer.

A few months remain. I think that's enough to fix everything before the end of the contract for those players. I'd personally put Salah as the top priority if i were FSG. He helped the club a lot and even carried it alone many times. It's really unacceptable if they let him to leave for free.

That's truly embarassing for Liverpool if they won't send new contract for those key players, especially Salah. I'm still feeling so positive, and think that is a part of the negotiating tactics owned by the club.

There'd be a riot among the liverpool fans if the club didn't extend Salah's contract. This may affect the income received by the club as well.

Since 2016, Manchester City has been patience enough with Guardiola and they didn't sack him, he did everything to win the Premier League and then proceed to win another one 4 in a row, that will be disrespectful of the board of directors to sack him unless he willingly want to abandoned the club. He was announced to have the new contract of deal to 2027 while losing the matches he has lost recently, I'm not sure such can happen, not at this moment.

The problem of Manchester is within the players and has nothing to do with him, I'm very sure that with what they played yesterday in the Champions League, there is going to be some considerations of sacking some play because I don't get how you score 3 goals in a match and allow the team to equalized again, that's a very poor defense I must say. A lot of shuffle will happen before next transfer market or probably after this season for sure.

Come on, friends, do we have to blame Ederson for the negative streak that Manchester City has achieved at the moment, or because of his mistake against Feyenoord yesterday in the Champions League?
In recent seasons, Ederson has been very impressive in guarding the Manchester City goal, so in a very difficult situation like today they should still support him to be able to rise immediately, instead of punishing him by looking for other goalkeeper, so far we can saw if defender as the main problem of manchester city poor performance, so I think, losing Rodri as one of the balancers between their defense and midfield is main facfor problem at the moment,  So I think to solve City problems, Guardiola must find another player which can replace Rodri role as a defensive midfielder.
I fully support your opinion. And for me it will not be that easy to bring De Gea from Fiorentina who are currently very happy to get the best contribution from De Gea. Although money changes everything, but I think team performance is also needed.
Regarding Ederson, I almost didn't even see his mistakes last season and this season because he performed very well trying to guard his goal very well and was able to have quite good reflexes. In fact, the consecutive defeats experienced by Man City were actually not the goalkeeper's fault but the defense and defensive midfielders were one of the keys to the problem.
Well, we also forget something that there is actually something that we don't realize in the current attack line which in my opinion Haaland performance is not optimal.

That's what I think because they still know who Guardiola is and what are they going to do if they sack him? If you say A you gotta say B afterwards and it is well known that at the moment a lot of clubs are struggling to find a good coach with experience and outstanding skill to improve players and find the real diamonds in the transfer market. That is why I think like you that they would never sack him because they can't get a new one who could be close to his quality. Everything would be a weakening in the coaching staff. It is also the staff he has surrounded himself with. They would need an entire new team because they would all go wherever Guardiola goes next.
Guardiola is a coach who has always given evidence of being an exceptional coach not just for being on top of results, but for dealing very well, building a team that is solid, who’s creative and who can impose you. However, if the decision ever came to replace him, it won’t just be as much impact on the game, but also a mess of the neatly arranged work system. It'll take the club a lot of risk to decide to let him go without a sufficiently developed plan, in pursuit of another figure of this quality.

But the best thing is, make sure Guardiola can keep getting that support from management and the players. Together, the club can build closer communication and a vision that update as a constant without having to take big risks. Changes that might be necessary in the future have to be laid by us in such a way that the structure which exists is sustainable, the club continues competing and developing and doesn’t have to lose its identity.

One big proof is that after so many successes and so many years in the business with the best clubs in the world, he is still full of emotions in every single game and he has a hard time accepting losses or painful outcomes like against Feyenoord. You can see how he is suffering and there are coaches who look less affected when they lose games. Mourinho is an example. He sometimes freaks out, but that is mostly when he is unsatisfied with the press or with people he dislikes from clubs that he works for.

But when it comes to bad results, Mourinho can be very quiet and come across as if he doesn't care that much and then he tries to put the blame on others. That is something I like Guardiola for. I don't know whether he has ever done that. I think he can be an asshole too, but he never is without emotions and then becomes an asshole on camera.

You could see it differently by the way. They are now with the back against the wall and he has never faced that challenge. How great would this season be if despite those results they get back to full strength and win something big. That would be an impressive season if they have to work through tough problems and win regardless.

~snip~

Mohamed Salah is performing well despite this. He has 10 goals and 6 assists in the Premier League this season. I'm sure that if Liverpool don't give him a new contract, many clubs will want to sign him. He has the talent and strength to play in Europe's elite leagues for a few more seasons. Even if it's not clubs like Real Madrid or Manchester City, Paris Saint Germain would want to sign him. He would be a new star for their club after Messi, Neymar and Mbappe. And the French Ligue 1 would be an easier league for Mohamed Salah. He is 32 years old.
Yeah, definitely Muhammad Salah has been performing super crazy for Liverpool. He came to Liverpool in 2017, and now he becomes the number 4 top scorer of all time Liverpool across all of Liverpool legends like F. Torres, M. Owen, Suarez, Gerard etc. So definitely he is the one who made up a good contribution regarding through the club. I have been hearing for years that Muhammad Salah was approached by a club and sometimes by someone else. Still, big clubs are behind Muhammad Salah. Barcelona made an offer many times, but Liverpool rejected it. So literally, you are absolutely right that Liverpool should keep a legendary player like Muhammad Salah for a few more years. Salah is still carrying on the club with his own shoulder.

Moreover, if Salah himself doesn't want to stay any longer, he will surely intend to go to Saudia Arabia.

“I don't know. What I know is that Kevin will decide by himself, like David Silva or others did..." was the exact response of Pep Guardiola when he was asked if Kelvin De Bruyne will stay or leave at the end of the current season. The Manchester City midfielder's  involvement for his club this season have been limited by injuries that's sidelined him. Personally I think his time at City is up so it'll be better for him to leave at the end of the season

While injuries have significantly limited his playing time, I would love to see Kevin De Bryune extend his stay at Manchester City and continue to play in the Premier League next season. Kevin De Bruyne's vision, creativity and ability to read the game makes him a key player for Manchester City. He’s one of the oldest City players in the squad, his experience would be invaluable for the team's continued success. I believe if he chooses to remain with Pep Guardiola next season, they would certainly win more trophies in the both Premier League and European competitions.

...

I think you have touched on a very good point...

We don't see legendary footballers in clubs lately. Footballers want to earn more money. Clubs want to fire old footballers. Since everyone acts by maximizing their benefits, the concept of legendary footballers disappears over time...

Mohamed Salah could be a legend for Liverpool, but he will just be a statistic...

Coaches Ancelotti and Pep Guardiola are having 2 similar fates. 2 great coaches are now 2 people that the media criticizes and rumors of being fired.

I find those who blame Pep Guardiola silly. Man City is still ranked 2nd in the rankings.  do they want Man City to always be on top of the copy? Every team has to go through a period of decline. They will have to start building a new squad with young players, just like how Real Madrid is changing.

Man City have won the Premier League four seasons in a row, are consistently competing in the Champions League, and now it's time for them to weaken to give other teams a chance. They shouldn't dominate the league for too long, it won't be interesting if they keep winning. This could be a good thing for the league.

It breaks my heart to see how fans criticize Pep Guardiola for Manchester City poor performance in this last five games. Pep said it before, the Premier League is very competitive and it is almost impossible for any team to consistently dominate for a very long period of time. A temporary dip in form should not overshadow the consistency and progress he has brought to Manchester City. Similarly, the challenges Real Madrid is facing under Carlo Ancelotti do not necessarily reflect poorly on him. The challenges may be largely affected by injuries. Both managers are world class and have set extraordinary high standards in their clubs.
