Indeed. It is better to give him a chance until the end of the season. Now, let Xabi to improve Real Madrid performance, he must have a plan. However, Xabi must evaluate his strategy and his approach in determining the lineup of Real Madrid in each match. I see that Xabi too often changes the main lineup and strategy, it won't be good if he does it too often. But I appreciate how Xabi rotates the players, it seems Xabi is trying to give all players enough time to play.

Regarding the chance of winning UCL and La Liga, it is still quite possible. But if Real Madrid still has weak defense and ineffective attacking, they will be difficult to win those trophies. They will face more difficult matches, Xabi must prepare better Real Madrid players. About the media, sometimes they create the news with an excessive narrative.
The season is still long, perhaps it would be wise to give him a chance to make changes, after all, no one knows what will happen in the next game. Xabi Alonso must be more careful in rotating players, especially in games that are considered important. He must be able to make the 11 players fielded in the starting XI more useful than 11 star players, I mean the cooperation and harmony of the players is more important than relying on selfish players who always dribble when they get the ball.

Management must also support him by bringing in several new players, especially now that Madrid desperately needs players with a strong instinct for scoring goals. I don't think relying solely on Mbappe will be enough. Perez should pay more attention to the team's needs instead of profiting from cheap players and free agents, now Madrid is experiencing a crisis that is worse than under Ancelotti.

It's been announced that Militao will be out for four months. His relatives are likely to leave Real Madrid due to these chronic injuries. The Brazilian suffers a long-term injury every year. Real Madrid must replace him with a defender. Perhaps they can take action in the mid-season transfer window, given their recent lack of success. Expectations were high for Xabi, but Real Madrid's results suggest he's slowly failing.

Who will Real Madrid sign this transfer window? There's talk of a potential transfer for Konate from Liverpool. I think Real Madrid will also keep a few alternative options. They have plenty of young players. They could sign a promising young center-back.
Éder Militão is 27 years old one of the prolific centre back he is giving consistently good performance, but his injuries always create problems for him and Real Madrid even once he was thinking to take retirement from soccer but still going on, but now this long term injury is surely going to be serious trouble for him and his soccer career.

He is having contract till 2028 mean it's going to be problem for Real Madrid, and they are rightly looking for suitable replacement Xabi Alonso already facing serious problems this is going to be big setback but good thing now just few weeks left, and they can go for another signing today game against Manchester City is clearly looking not good due to recent performance and injuries.

It is natural for such players to feel entitled because of their contribution to the club. Salah is not the first player to react this way; Ronaldo and other top players have done the same thing.

Any player who does what Salah did will be wrong too. He doesn't have any right to be entitled. No player is entitled to a playing spot. If the player is not performing at the top level, the manager has every right to bench him. You cant feel entitled to a playing spot when you're performing badly. The only reason people are taking Salah's side is that Liverpool are shit currently. If they were winning all their games, people wouldn't ask him why he is not playing Salah.

If Sala has an issue with the manager, he should go to the dressing room or go directly to the manager and let tell the coach his mind. Going to do it the way he did is very immature.

As for Jamie, I don't care about what he has done or said before, but in this situation, he is telling the truth. He might have said it more respectfully, but Salah too didn't say what he said respectfully, so you cant call out one and not the other.
As for loyalty, Salah is the second highest paid player in the league, so he is being paid well. Let's not make it like he's taking a low salary to play in Liverpool. The club and fans always respected and supported him till this incident. Let's not look for excuses as if the club treated him badly. He has no right to be entitled. You are only an undisputed starter as long as you perform well.

The journey is still quite long because there are still many matches to be played, but if Xabi Alonso cannot make these changes then it will be impossible for Real Madrid to achieve satisfactory results. Several problems may occur, such as the defense line being very weak because several players are injured and the availability of players in that position is also inadequate so it will be difficult for Xabi Alonso to rotate. Likewise, regarding the midfield position, which so far has not looked better, so Real Madrid is actually experiencing several problems that are a little more difficult to overcome.

Firing Xabi Alonso is not the right choice because sometimes the arrival of a new coach is not necessarily able to solve the problems currently being faced. Too often changing the composition of the main players and strategy is also a problem because it will result in teamwork not being formed so Xabi Alonso must be able to look at this problem wisely and the rotation must also be done correctly so that Real Madrid does not experience bad results.

All these don't matter. You and I never played football, so by your logic, we don't have the right to criticise players who are legends in the game. He doesn't need to have won the EPL and Golden Boot before he can talk about his opinion. Or are you saying if a player like Suarez or Gerald was saying what Jamie was saying, then it would be okay?

Jamie might have taken it too personally, but he is not wrong. Salah feels entitled to play at Liverpool. He is not the first player to be benched. Even Robertson was on the bench for about 7 matches this season, and he didn't go to the press.
Salah could have said all that he said to the press in the dressing room or to the manager. Going to the media to talk like that is gutter behaviour. The team is already going through a difficult time, and throwing them under the bus like that is foolish from Mo Salah. he should be one of the leaders in the team; he should be part of what is glueing the team together, not breaking it even further simply because of his ego and pride.
Aguero was sidelined by Pep when he first came, and he signed G. Jesus. Aguero didn't go to the press to complain. He rolled up his sleeves and showed the manager that he was valuable and should play.

Jamie might have been a little too extra and judgmental, but he is not wrong. He is saying a good thing in the wrong way.
Also, the club is not taking Salah to Milan for the Champions League game, is not handling things well either. The fact that Salah has messed up doesn't mean they have to treat him like a person who has done nothing for the club.
Jamie Carragher should learn how to also address issues respectfully and politely. People always attack him because of his bias against some players. He has been criticised severely for talking down on the African continent. Salah has sacrificed so much for Liverpool and deserves some concession. He would have been one of the highest earning players, but he turned down the deal because of his loyalty to Liverpool.

It is natural for such players to feel entitled because of their contribution to the club. Salah is not the first player to react this way; Ronaldo and other top players have done the same thing. I am happy Senegal thrashed England to the shame of the person who keeps talking down on Africans.
Salah should have know that what he was going to do is absolutely wrong and it has consequences in the club and his future, and no player is above criticism, I think Jamie Carragher have a reason for going all out to Mohammed Salah, Last season Salah’s contract was going to expire, and he was going all and all in the media talking about how his not been offered a new contract, when the club was fighting for a Premier League title, and the fans was supporting him give Salah is Dough and he got what he wanted.

Now the club is playing badly as a big player and a legend he isn’t playing well and he is out of form, what he was supposed to do is coming to the media to encourage the fans and the players and supporting the player and the coach, Van Dijk and Robertson and Jones, was the only once who came out to support the fans, you never hear Salah speak, but when he was benched that was when he spoke and that is totally unacceptable from the club, because you don’t speak to the media in that manner, it’s a shame from Salah and it’s disgraceful.

Carragher is absolutely spot on for criticizing Salah.

But let’s be honest with ourselves AFCON isn’t a major tournament that is used to consider World best players, if he said that isn’t totally wrong, I have never seen a player that is considered for World Best for winning the AFCON or Africa Champions League.

Salah made several very serious mistakes, after just a few matches on the bench he began to criticize the management and started talking about his achievements and his rights. I think the biggest mistake was that he said he deserved a place in the lineup, in the starting lineup, because of his past achievements. And that is fundamentally wrong because if you are in poor form right now you have no right to be in the starting lineup. And of course if he had any misunderstandings with the coach he should have gone to the coach first, and discussed everything with him personally. Only after that should he have drawn any conclusions, but in no case should he have brought all of this out for public discussion in front of the press.

Grealish decides not to go back to the City again. He feels comfy in Everton, and keen to play in Moyes's squad much longer. I really understand his frustration at City that gave him no minutes. So it sounds right for him to talk with Everton to make him permanent.
Althought his fees may be around 50m, but hope City can sell him a bit lower than it. The reason is clear leaving him benched is just destroying his price.

So the faster City sells him to Everton, the better club can recoup some money from his initial buying price. For me, it makes sense. What do you think?Shall he go back to City?
From when he joined Everton in the summer, I knew it'll be almost impossible for him to return to the club especially since Pep Guardiola is still the City manager and luckily for him, he's been able to pick up good form at his new club Everton so it's absolutely not surprising that he's decided remain at club. He's been one of the Everton's best players this season so I expect the club to permanent his deal. Manchester City knows that Jack Grealish is surplus to requirements already so I don't expect them to want sell him for a fee that'll be too high for Everton to pay.

I think he made a good choice cause going back to Manchester City could take him back to the bench where he normally was before he moved to Everton, he's really improved under Moyes and that could be because of the much playing time he has currently, therefore it would make no sense to go back to Manchester City where the competition for a starting position would be tough, then end up staying om the bench and cause his form to decline.
Well it's left for the manager of Everton and the board to access his performance and decide if they retain him permanently, however since he's been in good form it would be easier for the management to make I decision that favours both side. My own worry is that Grealish is injury proned and it shouldn't be a reason why Everton would decline the opportunity to sign him permanently, I just hope he can be fit for a long while this season.

this situation also occurred during Ancelotti's time. Ancelotti couldn't cope with it and was dismissed after achieving unsuccessful results. However, the new manager is facing the same problems. The high number of injuries in the last two years might indicate that Real Madrid needs to re-evaluate their medical staff. Many of their players have been injured, and there are significant problems, especially in the defensive area. They will definitely need to make some transfers in that zone.
Ancelotti did bad because of injury issues, Xabi is doing bad because of injury issues, both mainly had problem with injuries to defense. Maybe it's time for Real Madrid start looking into why they are making these mistakes with the defense? Whatever they are doing, they are not doing it right and causing the defense to constantly be injured.

It was the same last season, where they lost multiple defensive players at all times, even if one gets healed, another one gets injured meanwhile so they were always missing someone. It's exactly the same again, makes no sense and we should be seeing how things could change for the long term as well, we need to realize if Real could hire or fire anyone to make this be better for them.

No space left for Jack Grealish in Manchester City and I think return back to Manchester City make him difficult get more minutes playing exactly huge recruitment of Citizen in this season by signing many top forward players. Since loan to Everton this season, Jack Grealish have played 14 matches in Premier league and scoring 2 goals then made 4 assists. I think he looks comfortable with current position at Everton get more minutes playing and better accepting permanent contract than have back to Manchester City will often start the games from the bench.
Just to know, Manchester City spent 100 million euro for signing Grealish from Aston Villa and I think for right now his market values decreasing and Everton difficult if to pay fees transfer around 50 million euro, maybe negotiate until 30 million euro is worth it transfer fees and not difficult to spent that amount to make Grealish permanent contract at Everton.

The club and fans always respected and supported him till this incident. Let's not look for excuses as if the club treated him badly. He has no right to be entitled. You are only an undisputed starter as long as you perform well.

Mohamed Salah is a very talented individual player and one of the best players in Liverpool history. I don't think anyone would argue with that. However, what he did was really wrong. Because no matter how good you are, as a footballer you have to consider the club's interests. Therefore, his exclusion from the squad is understandable, because the manager needs to make tough decisions in this matter.

Your thoughts?-----------snipped----
A club in Madrid's calibre was bringing a coach that has only one good season in Bundesliga was out of my mind. We know how impatience Madrid is when it's coming to the build the club. They want instant result while Xabi is getting outcoached in almost everygame.
I personally think he deserves more time and patience consider rome was not built in a day. He's being forced to manage the players that can't fit his system well. However, he has to go if his current club is still impatient.

If he fails in his last chance against City. No reason for him to stay there as club is not in the need of him anymore.
He failed to secure a move to Man City.

Yes, Real Madrid lost horribly at the Bernabeu to Man City with a 1-2 scoreline, automatically dropping their position.

Many players support Xabi, many still stand by him, and many are with him. Interviews with several players indicate they still support him.

And based on the latest information available, Xabi won't be sacked immediately from Real Madrid this time; he'll still be given one more chance, depending on the result of the upcoming La Liga match against Alaves.

Source: Xabi Alonso
Xabi Alonso won't be sack immediately from Real madrid i know that alot is been expected from him but all hope is not gone it you fails to qualify Real madrid to the next round then it will be a bad record for him even though he probably won the laliga title if possible. Alonso did well in Leverkusen i know they expecting him to do more better in madrid due to the kind of quality players in the club. Alonso shouldn't be blame for not securing even a point at the Bernabeu Man city is also a good side they also have good players to battle against Real madrid, if Alonso couldn't win the remaining two matches then alot questions can be ask.

The wonderful thing about such news is the fact that, the public can be fed with the news of Xabi Alonso not going to be sacked but Real Madrid can still go under cover to shop for a new coach. Let's be truthful to ourselves, Madrid is that club that doesn't have patience for a coach, they didn't win the champions league last season, same with the la Liga and am not sure they want to repeat that, whatever Alonso has to do to come back to winning ways should be done fast, they are already second on the league table.

Only after that should he have drawn any conclusions, but in no case should he have brought all of this out for public discussion in front of the press.

If it is the case of achievement, Salah has actually done a lot for Liverpool, and benching him in a few matches might just have been for the best, because when you watch Salah play, he is not as efficient as before. and he does not have to go to the extent of criticizing the management or even the coach. And even at any level, Salah would remain one of the A-class players, but he needs to do more to get his form back because Salah is at Liverpool, because even last season, the club that helped them win the Premier League, Salah contributed a lot last season, so this season he can still do it instead of complaining.  He just has to train better, and one of the reasons Salah is not doing well is because they are not even, doing well as a club so they should settle everything and encourage salah to do better.

Now, after lost the points, many rumors appear about his fate in Madrid. Xaby's position is very unsafe after a painful defeat last night. We have to wait an hour or a day for the decision letter from the official. Maybe some potential coach already contacted by management to shift him, or might be temporarily replaced by caretaker like Sebas Parrilla, Alberto Encinas or Ismael Camenforte Lopez. We don't now what the situation now, but we are agree if Madrid won't let this continue to happen. They must prevail under various situation. Another coach might on standing on phone to fly on Santiago Bernabue.

this situation also occurred during Ancelotti's time.

That of Xabi Alonso is not supposed to be considered as a mistake caused by injury but team mismanagement and biased decision making when it comes to player selections. I know real Madrid is faced with serious injury setbacks but can still be managed by a good manager the same way Ancelotti managed it to an extend last season to finish second in there league table at the end of the season. When such injury setback visited Accelotti last season, he introduced some tacticality and major change in his game pattern which was why he was able to scale through at last

This is not true. Madrid has emphasize they're fully backing Alonso, thought the club suffer so many bad results under him. Some good news merchant such as Skysport even Marca have confirmed it. So i think lining up Xabi's replacement makes no sense.
He deserves to be given longer time to build his preferred club. I remind you how Xabi was also failed on his first season at Leverkusen.

Let him does what he can do for the club.

Firing Xabi right away would be the biggest mistake for Real Madrid. For two main reasons, one of them would be the fact that they hired him just this summer so firing that quickly when he doesn't have any successful result on paper yet, because they can still win UCL and La Liga technically, would be a mistake, he still has time to show himself and not doing "that" bad.

Secondly, and most importantly, they do not have alternatives that are better, even if they do fire Xabi, who is out there that would be suddenly much better for them? Who are they going to hire that would make the team better suddenly?

The club probably shouldn't be too hasty in firing Xabi. Some replacement names have indeed been rumored, but I believe more that this is being spread by the media to gain attention. Madrid is experiencing losses, and at the moment, changing the coach is not the solution. This is mid-season, and such a change would be a gamble for Madrid. If they get a coach who can handle Madrid better, then it would be a victory. But if the results turn out worse, Madrid would be in a desperate situation.

If I may ask, how many Champions League did Anceloti win for Real Madrid, 3 good trophies and there are many teams that are has won a lot numbers of domestic league but never for once has they tasted Champions League trophy for once. What was the demand of the fans last season? They want him gone. If a man like Anceloti could give all these glorious trophy to Real Madrid and yet they let him go, Xabi might be nothing in their book to throw out.

There are always alternatives, they are not just anyhow team that brings anyone to the club. There is no reason yet for Real Madrid to sack him yet, if they want to do it I don't think they need any reason to present him any official explanation to why he was removed from his role in the club.

It's safe to say that he s a human being after all, this club is a big one with lot of players that are not listening. He had Leverkuen to a good place because that team did well, won the Europa and Bundesliga before he was assigned here, people need to understand his previous place before accepting this job.

As said before, this news is often exaggerated, when it happens what the media wants in reality Real Madrid denies these allegations.

After the defeat against Man City --- there are coaches who will become candidates. lol like many reporters continue to do this news to stay hot.
Zidane, Jurgen Klopp and several other coaches are juxtaposed to replace Xabi, hmm like his Real Madrid still believes in the “process” rather than continuing to change coaches who are not a solution.
