It wasn't the paperwork. Crystal Palace were unable to get a replacement for Guehi, that was why they pulled the plug at the last minute and opted not to sell him to Liverpool. Guehi's contract ends in the summer and unless someone buys him in January, he is sure to leave Crystal Palace for free.

That said, there would be a lot of interest for Guehi if his contract runs out and it wouldn't come as a surprise to me if City is one of the suitors. Though i think they would have to sell one or two defenders, maybe Stones and Ake. And make Akanji's loan permanent. As for Munoz, his contract at Palace still runs for a few more years, so if anyone wants to sign him, they would have to cough out a lot of money.
Finding a suitable replacement for one of your best defenders is definitely not an easy task. I know Palace would have loved to cash in on him since his refused to renew, of course they are fully aware that if he doesn't renew and his contract expires, his going to be a free agent which means Crystal Palace will not get any money from his transfer. Maybe this January they will try again in looking for his replacement and as soon as they get him, they will accept an offer for him which of cause I know it will come or they will lose him from free in the summer.

Prosper Obah transferred from LNZ to Shakhtar Donetsk for 4.5 million Euros. It's interesting that such a transfer took place while both teams are competing for the Ukrainian league title. Why would LNZ sell an important player to their biggest rival mid-season? It's hard to understand. It might be a good deal financially, but if they end up losing the championship, their losses will be greater. They'll lose both financially and in terms of success.

Rodrigo should leave Real Madrid to develop his talent. If he stays at Real Madrid, his quality and performance will likely decline. Yes, if Rodrigo were to go to Arsenal or Manchester City, it would likely be difficult for him to secure a starting spot. Perhaps he would be better off going to Manchester United, where he could develop his skills and rediscover his best form.

I don't see it that way. The truly powerful combination would be one where Bellingham, Mbappé, Vinicius, and Rodrigo could understand each other Personally, I prefer Endrick to play rather than Gonzalo because Gonzalo gets lost on the field he's invisible. If these players perform well and put their egos aside, wow, they'll be the Galácticos again.

From what I've seen around, it seems Xabi has spoken with Endrick about giving him more playing time , but Endrick has already given his word to Olympiacos.

Rodrygo and Leão both would be great options for Arsenal in the long run. At some point Trossard will leave or drop to bench again despite his impressive effort recently.

I feel like Rodrygo would adapt easier to the Premier League. He is mainly RW maybe but he is right-footed. So he can be used on the left too. He can be effective with really nice shots from there.
From the caption that says these 2 players are not here to replace Gyokeres sounds as if they all play the same wing. It will be very difficult for the players if eventually Arsenal manages to sign these 2 players, I know it won't be easy because Rodrygo already said that his staying back at Real Madrid, but let's just say it happens. Rodrygo plays from the right but prefers the left and Saka plays that wing with Madueke on stand by. Raphael Leao plays from the left which Is already occupied by Trossard and Martinelli. These 2 players don't play the number 9 role as Gyokeres, so I'm just wondering why the caption talked about adding them to help Gyokeres.

Guéhi was nearly leaving last summer for example but the paperwork wasn't completed in time as far as I remember. Muñoz is also really impressive this season and I don't think they will manage to convince him to say easily while there is interest from big teams.

As for Munoz, his contract at Palace still runs for a few more years, so if anyone wants to sign him, they would have to cough out a lot of money.
Crystal palace has no other option than to sell Mac Guehi, because he has already informed them that he won't be signing another contract with them. Although crystal palace are pushing for him to sign a new contract with them so his release clause will be a bit high but the player insists he won't do that. Crystal palace are lucky that Guehi is attracting so much interest from potential suitors and not all will want to wait till the summer to get him as free agent. The club that is serious on getting him will make attempt to pay his release clause this winter window and get him. City see Guehi as potential replacement for John stones but the problem here is that can city trigger his release clause this January or they will wait for the summer were there will be so much interest in getting Guehi for free. Any club that step up this January is likely to get him. I heard Real Madrid are also interested in getting his service.

Of course, Leao or Rodrygo won't replace Gyokeres because they play in a different position. Both Leao and Rodrygo are wingers, they probably replace the players in the winger position. I don't think they will replace Saka because Saka is the main winger. So, they probably will replace other wingers (Trossard, Madueke, or Martinelli). Honestly, I don't think it is quite urgent for Arsenal. I think it is better to sign a new striker over a new winger.

In addition, Arsenal also need to spend a lot of money because both Leao and Rodrygo have big market values. It won't be an effective signing if they actually need a new striker to change Havert and Jesus. These players don't deserve to stay because they are prone of injury. It is the time to change them with new players.

I dont think Arsenal will sign either of these players and i think they are surely too expensive. Leao is currently carrying Milan and is worth too much, while Rodrygo can leave but it wont be cheap aswell. Still i dont know why Arsenal would get more wingers they already have too much of them and all of them have a lot of quality so i doubt they will sign any attackers

For Gyokeres i still think he needs more time to get use to the playing style in England and maybe still needs a few more months to get into his usual form so i dont think that Arsenal would try and replace him also

Yup, that's right and that option will be realized this month after Christmas, Endrick reportedly loaned to Lyon at least 1/2 season. Well, here Endrick should be able to prove or improve his abilities after getting the opportunity to play more and it is recorded in the loan agreement. For me personally, Endrick is more suited to starting from Ligue 1 or Serie A meanwhile in La Liga, especially Real Madrid, it is a bit difficult because there are many great competitors. By the way, this player's market value continues to decrease from season to season the highest reached 60 million, now it is only 25 million.

Manchester United still needs Bruno Fernandes because his quality is far superior to some of the other players currently available. He has shown loyalty to the team because despite Manchester United's dire situation, Bruno Fernandes has remained, and his game statistics are also quite extraordinary amidst the team's decline. I believe Bruno Fernandes will remain the best choice for any manager for the next few years, and I'm sure Manchester United won't let him go, as his presence is sorely needed amidst their midfield crisis.

I don't know what you think about his recent statement. But I'm totally on Fernandes' side here. He is right about all he is saying. They didn't act fair to him last season.

Leaving the door open for him to leave is so wrong. We are talking about your best player in the squad. Nobody can deny it. Right now he is carrying the team again. His recent performances have been insanely good.

If Fernandes leaves next summer being heartbroken then it is on the owners...

No player has replaced Bruno Fernandes until now. If he leaves next summer, Amorim should prepare to get another new player in this winter. In his statement, Bruno clearly still wants to fight alongside Man United, so it seems he is still very eager to achieve the best results. If he does leave, Amorim will certainly be even more stressed. They are on a good path, with an improvement in performance. Retaining players is a good thing, but adding players is also beneficial to strengthen the team. Because I see that Amorim's second-choice players cannot reach the same level of play as the main players.

That's just it, I  won't even be worried whether Vinicius Junior signs a new deal or not if I were a Real Madrid fan cause with or without him Real Madrid remains itself and would always flourish, infact it would even be an opportunity to sign new younger talents that would take over that position.
If the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Modric can humble themselves in the club then who is he,  one thing about players like him is that they allow pride to get over them instead of doing their best on the pitch to improve better and earn the wage they deserve. It's good that the board has made their final decision, " accept our offer or leave".

If there is anything I like about Real Madrid, it's the fact that any player can be replace and the team is going to do a greater job. Before there wasn't Vinicious and the team won UCL, Laliga and other prominent trophies some few years back, even now if he decide to leave the club and look elsewhere, he will be forgotten very quick. He is not close to half of What Christiano Ronaldo did for the club and he want to be compensated deeply as if the current money isn't enough.

If that offer came from him the season they won the Champions League, I will support that salary bid, he did took the team on his back throughout that season but last season and this season was a complete failure. I still remember his statement when he was denied of the Balon D'or when he said " if it's going to make him do it again, he can do 2x of what he did that season' but guess who is sleeping now, nothing to show but big salary.

Bruno Fernandes is Manchester United best player, the Manchester United team will do very bad if Bruno Fernandes, it could be that one of the reasons he said that Bruno Fernandes is not in his prime is because of Manchester United poor performance if Bruno Fernandes were to be in team like Manchester City, Liverpool, Real Madrid or Bayern Munich we would have all seen the best of Bruno Fernandes but individually Bruno is doing well he can't cover up the position of other Manchester United players in the field.

It is reported that Man United is interested in Bournemouth player Antoine Semenyo. He plays as a winger and has a release clause of £65 million. Apparently, not only Man United is interested; Liverpool, Man City, and Tottenham also admire the Ghana winger and are ready to compete for his signature. Antoine Semenyo did not play in AFCON because the Ghana national team failed to qualify. He is only 25 years old and also scored a goal when Man United drew against Bournemouth.

Source: https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11095/13484087/antoine-semenyo-transfer-man-utd-rivalling-man-city-and-tottenham-in-race-to-sign-bournemouth-winger
This rumor makes no sense. Why MU should get another RW when they have Mbeumo on that position. I know very well Semenyo is a versatile player, he can play as LW. However, why don't they sign pure LW instead? So i see no reason to bring Semenyo to the old trafford. If it's someone who is playing as a natural LW such as Nico William, it will be so good.
Other than it they're also urgently needs a proper DM. So they have to put it as their priority.

Real Madrid is a no nonsense club when it comes to decision making like this type, over the years I have seen them not giving in to the demands of big players. Vini hasn't been in form for the second season running now and his demanding to match Mbappe's wage of which if the club happens to give in, then other players might likely follow as well. Initially I was wondering why Mbappe that's just coming is made the highest paid player in the club and other than has been there will be under him. After thinking, I just thought, Mbappe has already established his name even before Real Madrid first approached him few years ago, this is an already established player, Vini on the other hand developed in Real Madrid

Why do I find your comments funny?! If Semis finally signed as a right winger,  he would be deployed to play as a right wingback just the same way Amad does for the left wingback. Why is this a difficult thing for you to grab?! He will not be a substitute for Bryan Mbeumo but he will be sharing the left wing with Cunha. Ruben Amorim has also wanted players with pace and strength who can withstand the intensity of the Premier League Competition. I would welcome Semenyo with open arms alongside Elliott Anderson from Nottingham Forest but Nottingham Forest will not let that transfer happen this season.

It was reported that Semenyo is one of the target of Manchester United whether this winter or the next summer transfer window. This news is accurate if the coach of United will remain in the next season obviously considering his plan to replace almost the whole midfield by new players and let the old one move including Bruno Fernandes. Casimero also will see his contract ending without renewal most likely. United have several options to get the necessary funds for new players.

I think that for Mbappe this was part of the agreement for his move from PSG to Real Madrid. If you remember, the negotiations were complicated, Real Madrid got Mbappe as a free agent and paid nothing for the transfer. I think all of this was taken into account, that is why Mbappe received very good contract terms.

As for Vinicius, Perez has already said that Vinicius would not receive the same salary as Mbappe. Apparently, Vinicius considers himself an equal player who deserves the same pay. But honestly, if we evaluate their results, it is obvious that Mbappe deservedly earns more. So if I were Vinicius, I would not push my demands too far. I would agree to Real Madrid terms and stay with the team.
