Anyone else reading about Neymar has agreeing to take a pay cut and join Barcelona again ?
It's in Spanish papers : 5 years contract, 18 millions per year. But it's just a verbal agreement between the player and Barca. Negotiations with Paris haven't begun. There's still a long way to go before the end of the market, I'm guessing it's gonna be the talk of the summer. If indeed Barcelona and Neymar have been able to reach an agreement, then It might be easier, since PSG's owner already hit out at Neymar's behaviors, and is (probably) looking forward to let him go.

Dani Alves is leaving PSG. I think it's another sign that Neymar could be on his way out too. Alves was very influential in Paris' locker room and is very good friend with Neymar. It is said that despite his bad performances on the pitch, he kept playing because of his relation with the star. With him gone, Neymar may feel a bit left out.
it was difficult for Neymar to get out of PSG because his contract clause was too expensive for another club to buy, he wanted to go to Barcelona but I thought Barcelona would not spend that much money to take him to Barcelona. Maybe we will see both of them in Barcelona next season. Barca really wants Neymar back and I am guessing they wouldn't mind another option at right back position as well. Did you guys knew that Alves is the player with most trophies won? The club must have thought realistically to bring Neymar to Barcelona is very difficult unless they really dare to spend a lot of money or sell some players for capital to buy back Neymar.

I read some rumours this morning that Gigi Buffon is returning to Juventus for the next season. He will apparently sign a 1 year contract after which he will take up a management role in 2 years. Those who follow Juventus are probably aware that Mattia Perin (2nd goalkeeper) is leaving the club and Buffon looks to become the 2nd choice goalkeeper for the next season.
He is still trying everything to win the CL. It initially looked like he would join Parma but it might not happen after all.

Found some interesting article and this is absolutely good news for some clubs, just imagine this is part of the list of players that cost 0 on the market.
Goalkeepers: Gianluigi Buffon (PSG), Guillermo Ochoa (Standard), Adrián (Vest Hem).
Defence: Dani Alves (PSG), Filipe Luís, Juanfran (ATM), Tomas Vermalen (Barselona), Gary Cahill (Chelsea), Antonio Valencia (MNU), Alberto Moreno (Liverpool).
Middlefield: Adrien Rabiot (PSG), Ander Herrera (MNU), Franck Ribéry and Arjen Robben (Bayern), Nemanja Radoja (Selta), Samir Nasri (Vest Hem).
Forwards: Daniel Sturridge (Liverpool), Danny Welbeck (Arsenal), Fernando Llorente (Tottenham Hotspur), Mario Balotelli (Olympique Marseille), Max Kruse (Werder Bremen).

as a Juventus fan I'm happy to hear this rumor because I will see Buffon and Ronaldo playing together as a team but I hope this doesn't make Perin leave Juventus because he is an important asset for Juventus in the future.

Mou's odds to be the next Newcastle manager was just slashed lower. I think it's happening guys. Big take over by the Shiek's cousin. And with Chelsea having Lampard and a ban for two transfer windows, they'll def have a high chance to fall off the top 4 (possibly top 6). Newcastle is at 16.5 to finish at the top 6 at FJ. No shill. I'm taking the bet.

An agreement has been reached between Tottenham and Lyon for French international midfielder Tanguy Ndombele. The price would be 72 millions Euros. He could sign a 5 year deal with the Spurs. French paper L'Equipe says Barca will definitely sign Antoine Griezmann. They're just waiting for his release clause to drop from 200 to 120 millions on July 1st.

If this will happen, it would be done so as Buffon will be able to retire in his beloved club. After that he is going to take a managerial position and assist the club from this stage. It has happened in many cases before.

I think he will end his career at Juventus and even though he is back the coach will not play him too much as a starter because there are players who are more decent in that position like Perin as a young player.

We are seeing athletes have extended careers like never before. Do you all think Ronaldo will be able to remain a top level player at age 40?
Looking at Roger Federer (37), he is still ranked #3 in the world

Chek this out: https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/9372793/jose-mourinho-rules-out-newcastle-job-finishing-ninth-not-in-my-nature/If the objective of the team is to stay in the first half of the table then that's not for me Exactly what I thought Mou would say if he gets offered a job in a team that's not fighting at least in the top4. Who's next on the list? Big Sam? Pardew? We are seeing athletes have extended careers like never before. Do you all think Ronaldo will be able to remain a top level player at age 40?

Not sure of this is the rigth place to discuss the matter but, you're comparing Tennis with Football the former is less demanding on a phisical level (stamina, strength, speed, etc) than football. So, IMO I don't think Ronaldo would keep playing for that long, GKs are the only ones who can keep playing at +40yo because, well, they don't really do much (physically) during the 90min of a game.

He already left as an icon of the club, then he should it leave that way. He really shouldn't go back to Juventus, for the sake of both parties, at least not as a player.

Mou's has not too many options. Especially in Premier League. Newcastle with new owners and management can be an interesting project for him, something like Chelsea at the beginning of the Abramovich era. There is speculation, Neymar going back to Barca, what it will be then with Griezmann? I do not expect Barca to have enough money for two expensive players in the same transfer period. I have not read any news related to him except that they decide to leave ATM.

I don't think there is anything wrong with this because he is very loved by club management and also Juventus fans, Buffon might also understand that if he returns to Juventus there will be more on the bench.

Rabiot will probably announce on 01/07/2019 for Juventus, after the start of the new financial season.
For who doesn't know the financial season ends on the last day of June.

as a Juventus fan I'm happy to hear this rumor because I will see Buffon and Ronaldo playing together as a team but I hope this doesn't make Perin leave Juventus because he is an important asset for Juventus in the future. I think it is pretty certain that he will leave. Perin deserves more playing team but Wojciech Szczesny is the better player in my opinion so I don't see any other outcome. Buffon's best days are over, it's sad but that is the way it is. I am afraid that he might make some big mistakes if he plays in a decisive match. He messed up badly on some occasions in PSG last season.

It makes more sense if Perin leaves Juventus because young players like him have to get more playing time he is a talented player and asset for the Italian country. I also thought the same thing because Buffon was too old to play as a goalkeeper.

Yeah... Mou's odds dropped to 16 after that comment. But Arteta's line went higher to 3. That's even better for Newcastle imho. Just the fact that Arteta, Mou and now Patrick Vieira (former manager at MLS, New York City FC, which is also owned by City's Mansour) are lined up means that Ashley could be selling. Edit: https://m.fortunejack.com/sportsbook//prematch/event/1259939Lines for EPL clubs to finish at the top 6. Newcastle at 15 now from 16.5. Still good imho.
