Noone will spend 40ish millions for him in the following winter session.
When you mentioned 40 million for a player with an expiring contract it reminded me of the Martinez to Bayern deal several years ago. He had one year left on his contract with Bilbao and Bayern was willing to pay €40 million to get him. At the same time Juventus was interested in Llorente. Bilbao's asking price: Also €40 million. But Juve waited a whole year and got him for free at the beginning of the next season.  Grin

There are more examples if we want to dig deeper. In summer 2016 Henrikh Mkhitaryan moved from Dortmund to Man United for €42 million with 1 year left in his contract.

Side note: 18 months later he had to move on to Arsenal for €8 million less btw. - somehow Man United transfer-policy haven´t been the best in the last years Tongue

Man Utd need to sign young, hungry players with a point to prove. Signing players like Sanchez has proven to be flawed. You should always sign players with their best years ahead of them.

Good example.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan was great at Dortmund but ever since he went to England I remember him as an injury prone footballer who was often sideined for various muscle related problems. Due to the injuries he never reached the highs that were expected of him. He is currently at Roma and he is injured and sidelined until the end of October.
The high intensity aat which the Premier League is played and the competition is sometimes too much for a lot of players and i believe even with his immense talent and work rate, Mkhitaryan couldn't survive in the EPL, I quite remember prolific striker Shevchenko couldn't replicate the his AC Milan form when he came to play for Chelsea in the EPL.

There is no way Eriksen will leave Spurs for Real Madrid or any other team on January.

He's a world-class player who can add quality to any squad, who knows, maybe one of the top teams (Madrid, Bayern, Man Utd) will need to buy someone asap because of an injured player or something else. I honestly wouldn't underestimate big teams spending some cash to buy a top-class player like him.

Skybet have Eriksen to Real on January @4.00. Not bad.

Unrelated to Eriksen but, Skybet also have James Maddison (Leicester) to Man Utd @4.50. If i were Woodward, I'd sign him for whataver transfer fee with my eyes closed.

Actually there are several Salzburg players who played really well and getting big club attention.. here's the list :
erling braut håland > Real Madrid, liverpool, Napoli, Juventus.
There is a big rush for that kid. His goal scoring record has been very impressive and has attracted a lot of attention.

I am A Real Madrid Fan but i really wonder why they want to buy him if the rumor is true. We have so many promising forwards that aren't even getting enough play time some of which where bought recently.

I think Napoli would be a much better destination for his development.
Indeed .. a 19 years old should be giving a full play time to maximize the potential , gain confidence and get experiences as when it comes to signing for a big club where he will always be under pressure either to always score goals and to win in every single game , it would be bad for any young players mentality.

Simply when this kind rising star did not fill the manager expectations he will get benched , just look at pulisic ... the 21 years old winger didn't get a chance to play regularly this season under Frank Lampard due how he didn't provide what Lampard wanted.

The same thing could happened to this young Norwegian ... or even worse.

Moved and play on different country the players also have to adapt with the culture of games on that country so there is no guarantee if the players success in the some countries they can playing well too in english league besides Shevchenko there was several players who playing good when playing at previous teams but they cannot give their best performance during play on EPL such as Robinho or Michael Ballack that these two players has been failed to showing best performance

I think Juventus has a more interesting offer than the other teams who want to buy Eriksen from Tottenham. plus the big names in the Juventus team at the moment it seems like the Eriksen will choose Juventus compared to other teams. see this news https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/10125652/spurs-juventus-rabiot-transfer-eriksen/

Real Madrid already did a catastrophic error las session with Hazard.
They paid him 100 millions while his contract had only 12 months left, they can't do the same mistake another time.

Mmm...  I think he will, for a lower price that is.  Daniel Levy doesn't have any room to negotiate anymore and Eriksen is hell bent on leaving the Spurs anyway.  It's better to lose him with some money in exchange than nothing.

Edit:  And Real's move on Eriksen is one less option for Pogba imho.  That leaves Juve and PSG.

In my humble opinion it mostly depends on Spurs´ situation in winter. If they will be in a position wherefrom they will have to go full force reaching european spots in the EPL, they will pretty much need the likes of Eriksen in the 2nd half of the season in order to finish on a desired rank in the end.

Missing it, but having €40M in their pockets from an Eriksen-move in winter instead needs to be well calculated.

In the coming January window, Real Madrid seems to get another transfer for the Erikson, I think this Tottenham's midfielder is very potential for Real Madrid because of Tony Kroos and Modric already passed the golden momentum of their career, They have given huge service to the team, they are almost 30s, So anything big expectation from these two players is not right, So a replacement is very essential in the current squad, I don't mean Tony Kroos I mean Luka Modric, And the danish player is very eager to play with the Royal White in Spain because of Zidane and their History, Hopefully, in the January transfer, it will happen if all things will remain same.

Luca modric looks like the kind of player that can deliver even up to the age of 40 or more. Real Madrid needs to look for young midfielders who can take on the mantle when Kroos and Modric finally leaves. Eriksen doesn't seem to be the man for the job. He's good at what he does, keeping opponents attacks at bay and ushering passes to the forwards but he's a little too old too (He's currently 27) considering he would need time to fit in a team like real Madrid. My suggestion would be to find someone younger. Let's see how things go. January is just around the corner.

Modrić is small and fit. He can play for another few years and I hope that tonight he will score at least one goal for Croatia.

Still, he's 34 and his performance in Real is far away from Rolando's. Real definitely needs somebody like Christian Eriksen in January.
Another good option is Red Bull Salzburg's  Erling Haaland.

Alexis Sanchez was a great player when at Arsenal,  he was one of the most hardworking player during his tenure at Arsenal,  the problem is just that Man Utd does not know how to manage players,  an example is Di Maria,  Ibrahimovic, Lukaku including Sanchez,  all these players are doing absolutely great in their respective clubs,  so  Sanchez ain't a flop

Alexis Sanchez

Was as you said.

Now Manchester is paying his salary and he is on load to FC Inter. This is incredible, also he is now broken and he will lose some matches after the pause for National teams matches.

Isn't Alexis Sanchez playing well when at Barcelona and after moving to Arsenal it still looks good though not as well as in the previous club. But actually when he moved to Manchester United, Alexis Sanchez was not not good in appearance, it's just that he had difficulty developing there. That's why his career began to slow down. Right now I don't see Alexis Sanchez contributing much to Inter.

He only play in two matches, how can you judge him so early? On top of that, he already score as many goal as he score when he's with United last season, one.

He's doing better with Inter imo, at least he'll have more fun there.

His performance instantly dropped when he joined Manchester United  and though he had some good games in between them he wasn't as good as he used to be when he was playing at Barcelona and Arsenal.  In the end the swap that sent Mkhitaryan and Sanchez to different clubs wasn't really useful as they are currently on loan in Italy and it seems they will both be there on a permanent basis.

What do you guys think Manchester United is going to sack their manager very soon, I think there is a lot of chances to do so because they are not performing well and they are staying at below 10th position in the point table, so it's not expected a result from manchester united, so I think Solsjaer will be replaced by someone who could bring a good performance, After the age of Sir Alex Ferguson, No one Coache has maintained the level what Alex created from the last 23 years, He was really amazing but today's manchester united is very unfortunate, I think the ex-manager of Juventus, Allegri is one who can bring the change in this squad. so is there any chance to make it happen?

just look at pulisic ... the 21 years old winger didn't get a chance to play regularly this season under Frank Lampard due how he didn't provide what Lampard wanted.
Pulisic played regularly at the beginning of the season while Willian was injured. I remember because I predicted he would score on FortuneJack's Jackmate competition. He started 3-4 matches from the beginning but unfortunately he didn't offer what Lampard expected from him so you are right, he was benched later on when Willian recovered from his injury.

Pulisic might just not be that good. Young American players always get hyped to be the next big thing & none have been so far - Landon Donovan, Freddy Adu etc.
Maybe Pulisic just isn’t that good, Lampard isn’t stupid.

^  Yup, it's disappointing.  I fought a guy itt when he said Pulisic would suck (which is actually the case).  Lolol.  Eating my words now.  Cheesy

And just heard he got injured at international duty and could be out for a long time.  All that money during a holiday.  Must be nice.

Mandzukic deal done to Mancherster according to "Corriere dello Sport" for 11.5 m/€ for Januaryt
I usually do not trust this journal, I think is middle-low tier.

This might be an interesting addition to Man United.
After Lukaku left, they lack in the striker position and as Mandzukic has a great experience and he can score both from shooting or header, he would be a great weapon for the Red Devils.
