FC Bayern München is looking for a new defender for quite some time now. What do you guys think, can Dayot Upamecano be the one part of the puzzle they are looking for? In my opinion the €60m release clause in his contract is a little to high. He surely is playing a decent season and only turned 21 last October, but I honestly would'nt pay that much for him.

Bayern have identified Dayot Upamecano as a priority target for the summer to replace Jérôme Boateng. Upamecano has a €60m release clause in his contract and has been followed by Bayern since he was playing at Valenciennes in Ligue 2 [@francefootball]

Juve will test Pep’s will to stay at City. We’ll see what happens, City can still appeal but if the ban stands then I think he will leave.

I've said it over and over...  Pep will see out his contract til 2021.  He owes Ferran Soriano and Txiki Berigistain a lot.  Well...  Unless both of them tell Pep to leave then he'll leave.

I don't like the fact that Guardiola is only a coach to top clubs.
He went from Barcelona to Bayern and then Manchester City.
I want to see him in another club, apart from Juventus which is the best club in Italy right now, such as Chelsea, Arsenal, Napoli or any other team that is not in a top performance right now.

Not going to happen, Guardiola style of play is only suited for top clubs. He doesn't know how to park the bus and wait for counter attack. He will always try to make his team play a sort of tika-taka football with high possession and shitload of passing. From the clubs you mentioned I could maybe see him at Napoli since it is a good club, with players who could maybe follow his ideas.

Then if he cannot implement his playstyle in every kind of teams then he is not a good coach.
If he needs only top class players in order to be able to do his work then it is very sad to consider him a good coach and mock better coaches such as Mourinho for example.

Anyway Ziyech will be a great addition to a side full of promising youngsters. Lampard will probably need 2-3 more years to realise if Chelsea is headed for the right direction.

Chelsea agreed a pre contract details with both Ajax and Ziyech and unless some terms go wrong, its a deal
Chelsea did the same when they boughta Pulisic from Dortmund.

All three transfers sound like quite stupid deals from my perspective.

Barcelona has more than enough midfielders, if they need something it should be to add strength to attack or maybe defense.

You don't pay 75M million to get a bench warmer for Levandowski. Firminho would be stupid to accept that anyway.

United defense is not so bad, they need more creativity and world class striker. Why spend a big chunk of your budget on defender?

Have anyone of you guys seen Samuel Iling-Junior (16) play yet? From what I have seen on social media his performances look pretty strong. Looks like almost every top club in Europe is interested.. The German journal Kicker just published another article about Dayot Upamecano, but it basically only summarizes the rumors that were published by Bild and other newspapers last week: FC Bayern is still highly interested in signing Dayot, but there are also some other English top clubs that might be interested. In my opinion Dayot would perfectly fit into Bayerns squad, but his €60m release clause is too high. Lets see what happens..
 

Bayern bosses know that they have to strengthen the central defense and ideally want a van Dijk type of CB (tall, robust and can physically strengthen the back line in the air and on the ground). Dayot Upamecano has a similar profile and is attracting Bayern's interest [Kicker]

Yup.  But Ferran Soriano seems determined to fight the case tho and try to get no ban and fine.  He's basically saying they're innocent and did nothing wrong.  I guess we'll have to see.

Sell them to their closest rival in the Bundesliga table? There is now way that would happen especially if you think about how Upamecano could help destroy them. Also RB Leipzig isn't known to be a very active team on the transfer window, they pretty much try to train and develop their own players just to save some money and win games and not to profit from them. So if they are really willing to depart with a player like Upamecano I don't think that it will be from their rivals but to another league like in the Premiere League where his name has attracted both Arsenal and Tottenham.

Other than that yeah, we will have to wait until the summer to see firm rumours. Agents will be having discrete meetings with prospective buyers now but we won’t hear about this.

Manchester City officials are leaving nothing to chance and it’s true that they have appointed world best Lawyers who’re working on their case right now, and therefore I won’t be surprised if they escaped the ban completely and didn’t even pay a single dollar in fines to UEFA. It’s pertinent to note that this ruling shall be very important as all other clubs will be keenly watching it, and they’ll too break UEFA rules and cite this case as a precedent for breaking the rules so let’s hope justice is served and City’s appeal is turned down.
