will Thiago move from bayern munich to fc liverpool...?
It's a good move for Liverpool, they have good midfielders but i don't think any of them is really creative, Fabinho, Henderson, Wijnaldum, Keita and even Milner cause he plays I'm midfield sometimes are all good midfielders, but they are not the type of midfielders I'll call creative, that can penetrate a tight defense with a good skill and a good through ball. Thiago imo is that sort of midfielder, i enjoy how he moves with the ball and also beats players with his trickery, he'll solidify an already excellent midfield with his own set of talents, he has played in Spain, now in Germany, trying the epl out with Liverpool is also a good move for him.

Partey linked with Arsenal move – Arteta will not sell prized assets to fund recruitment drive I'm sure he'll manage to somehow offload the deadwood players and bring Partey in. - I've read about another installment deal [like what they did for Pépé]. Inter Milan can be calm because the purchase offer of Alexis Sanchez has been approved by Manchester United.
Great piece of business if it happens. Isn't the contract of Sanchez ending this summer?
AFAIK, he'll be a free agent in 2022.

Great piece of business if it happens. For who? I don't remember the last time Alexis played a good game, let alone an excellent game and I am sure he has one hell of a lucrative contract. He is also not that young anymore. I am thinking Man UTD is getting the better end of this deal.

Could be a great signing for Liverpool, I just looked at his age though & he’s 29. Liverpool don’t tend to sign players of that age, maybe that will change though.

With these kind of transfers it's almost all about the potential marketing effect. When Ronaldo joined Juve the popularity of the Italians was boosted all over the world So I am pretty sure their huge investment in him was well worth it for Juventus despite the fact that he was alread 33 years old back then. Here is a great read if you are interested in this topic. Messi does have a similar fanbase around the globe. He and Ronaldo shaped a generation of footballers like no others. So even though he's already 33 years old, he could still be a valuable transfer target for some rich clubs. And I don't wanna brush off the recent rumor about him not wanting to renew his contract as a strategy to get more money. As I have written in a post a bit earlier in this thread, the recent transfers of Barcelona weren't really successful but rather expensive misunderstandings. Barcelona lost a bit of its shine imho so I can totally see the possibility of Messi leaving the club. Yup, I'm aware of the marketing appeal of such transfers. But to be fair, Ronaldo's was the only one so far. If it was a period before the corona outbreak, I'd maybe agree that Messi's transfer might be in that bracket. However, in the current state of the market I somehow think it is not really possible. I'd like Messi to leave and go to a club where he'll have a dedicated role, it's hard seeing how much he has on his shoulders in Barcelona. He's the best player in the world for me and playing in a club in which he would not be responsible for everything would probably extend his career for 1-2 more years at a top level.

He is doing his job quite well along with Lukaku. I mean feeding crucial passes, making plays but Serie A is a different level. I also think Man Utd is getting a good deal and a good chance to off load Sanchez who had a bad time in PL playing for both Utd and Arsenal.

But I can't agree that no club would pay him big wages. Cristiano too joined Juventus at the age of 33; Messi is still having good performance. So, if he wants, he can join some other club too with a big pay certainly.
Yeah, currently this just a rumor, and lot of media published about this atm. I agree with you, 33yo sometimes not too old for players, we can remember players who still have a skill and power to play even he was more than 33yo. So, messi still have a skill and can bring a motivation to the players in the clubs.

Ronaldo was sold to Juventus for something like 100 mil when he was 33, but it was before coronavirus and Ronaldo is physically in much better shape than Messi - he always was.
For players like Cristiano, Messi, 100 million isn't a big deal provided that how much fan they have. Juventus had sold 5,20000 tshirts within 24 hours of release with name of Cristiano, worth of $60 million although Juventus will be receiving 10-15% of the revenue- https://www.cnbc.com/2018/07/18/juventus-sold-over-60-million-of-ronaldo-jerseys-in-just-one-day.htmlNevertheless, Messi is still fit for another couple of season.

William would not disclose or rather reject any new contract.

Hey is a good player but I will not say that he is not irreplaceable. If they get good money they are going to sell him immediately.

An interesting question for the Real management this summer? Real Madrid's moral necessity to save 200 million euros this summerAll football clubs have huge financial difficulties due to coronavirus. According to this article in Marca: https://www.marca.com/en/football/real-madrid/2020/07/04/5f00c334e2704ee8a48b45d6.htmlthe Real Madrid board are aiming to save a total of 200 million euros this summer, with most of that money coming from player sales. Gareth Bale, James Rodriguez, Brahim Diaz, Dani Ceballos and Mariano Diaz are the most likely to leave. The time of big transfers seems to have passed.

One year ago the price was between 100-120 million Euro for him. A few days ago, Bayern bought him for around 50 millions.

When Real manages to find interested clubs for these players it's not about the transfer earnings. It's mostly about getting them off their payroll list. Bale for example costs Real Madrid £18.5 million a year and James Rodriguez £10 million ( https://www.sportekz.com/football/real-madrid-players-salaries/). Both don't really have a perspective at Real but it's hard to find new clubs for them because they have such high-paying contracts.

He might not be the player he was at Barca/Arsenal but still a decent player for any team in Serie A. - Having said that, you also have a point so it's a win-win situation.and a good chance to off load Sanchez who had a bad time in PL playing for both Utd and Arsenal.
I agree with the Man U part but individually, he was great in Arsenal. What do you think, is possible that he will play again in some strong club in Europe or his time passed?
Yes, it's still possible but can't see him getting a long term contract.
Some rumors by " ESPN": - Arsenal and Napoli after Saint-Maximin.
- Can't see this happening. - Juve consider Jorginho move.
- Most likely it'll happen.

The German Bild is reporting that Thiago will leave FC Bayern München for sure, while the chances for David Alaba staying in Munich are 50% - 50%: David Alaba wants to earn just under €20m/yr in the same range as Lewandowski, Neuer & Sané. The Austrian is also flirting with the idea of a new experience abroad. While Thiago's departure is almost certain as he wants to leave, the chances with Alaba are currently 50-50 [Bild] Source: https://twitter.com/iMiaSanMia/status/1279886002643963906

Transfer rumours: Napoli are interested in signing Victor Osimhen. Mario Mandzukic, 34, has become a free agent after terminating his contract with Al-Duhail. Where he will go now? Manchester United made a mistake not signing Haaland before he moved to Borussia Dortmund from Red Bull Salzburg, says Paul Scholes. Do you believe him? Chelsea are looking to sell six players to fund the transfer of Germany midfielder Kai Havertz. Six for one? Is it really worth it? Source: https://www.bbc.com/sport/53300585

The time of big transfers seems to have passed.
Until the economy recovers or until the next boom is arrived,,, of course the time of big money transfers has gone away. Let me tell you even the clubs who have been spending big and not winning things will soon be facing troubles. Talking about Manchester United and Chelsea, or even PSG who never win Champions League.
