Manchester City are eyeing a potential move for Atletico Madrid's 21-year-old Portugal striker Joao Felix as a possible replacement for Sergio Aguero, who is out of contract in the summer. Aguero is in a big crisis, he hasn't scored a goal in a long time and his great career in Manchester has come to an end, it seems.

I think it wouldn't be a good replacement for Atletico at all. Even if Manchester City offer Aguero + €80m (for example), Atletico wouldn't be in profit as Aguero is too far away from his old times. He is also old so why would Atletico want to sell such a young and talented player like J. Felix in return for Aguero? I think it could be no more than just a rumour and Atletico would go for better players if they decide to sell him.

Unfortunately teams in the Eredivisie are just a stepping stone for most young prospects they generate in their own youth academies and scouting system. Their top teams like Ajax, PSV, AZ Alkmaar even though have good ways to develop their players don't have the competition as well as the money in order to maintain these "wonderkids" they are having. Sometimes I consider them as the "Brazil" of Europe where there are a bunch of talent being develop their and the inability to keep their players there is however the good side which they can always profit from the sale of their players which always guarantee that will come at a premium, so overall I don't think it is a bad trade for them as they keep on generating good quality players from their youth system.

The reason for that is the fact that teams in Eredevise do not make as much money as some of the other teams, and many leaguese sell their games to worldwide, to every nation, look at premier league, there are some tribes in africa that do not have guns but have premier league, that is why they make a lot of money, whereas eredevise do not get that kind of coverage and money for it as well.

Overall, we are in a situation where Eredevise players just pick other teams that can pay better, Ajax is the best team there for the longest time and even they can't offer their starters and even stars what some premier league can offer to bench players hence why these players leave so quickly, because instead of getting paid 3-8 million, they can get paid 15-20 million, and teams do not make ton of money so they are happy about selling players (not this time) for tens of millions of dollars.

This makes me recall the Saul Niguez's amazing goal he scored in CL semis against Bayern. That was really something.  Coming back to his morale , is he really unhappy? He is getting decent game time. Doesn't comes anything like unhappy from the looks of it.

I've also heard about some news that Juventus would be willing to decrease the selling price, yes. As he is 36-year-old now, of course I don't have an expectation like he would be sold for €100m etc. .    But his wage demands will probably be quite high for sure. Anyway, I've heard about it also that there is some possibility for him to go back to Real but I don't think so. It seems to me like there are three options that he will think about:

1. He will decide to stay and Juventus will extend his contract and won't let him go for free.
2. Ronaldo will go to PSG and strengthen the squad even much more with Mbappe-Ronaldo-Neymar trio.
3. Ronaldo will go to Manchester Utd and maybe even end his career there as he has very special memories there.

You're absolutely right - and it currently looks like FC Bayern München can't afford him anyways. They need to get rid of players like Bouna Sarr or Corentin Tolisso first.

I don't believe the rumors of Ronaldo's move anywhere, because in my opinion he is very comfortable playing at Juventus and will end his career
at Juventus. For Messi too, I am also not sure that he will leave Barcelona and move to PSG or Manchester City, because for Messi and Barcelona
have a very strong bond. But to end a career in MLS just might come true, because it has been proven that MLS is a place for many European
players to end their careers. Moreover, already convinced by his wife, it usually comes true. Because according to the survey I read, most husbands

I think teams wanted to get rid of him when he worth something better than nothing. If you have Ronaldo you are using him and he helps you, you make profit from the jersey sales when you buy him as well, those are all great, he sells tickets (well not now) and he is all around a player that helps your team become better, but if he retires in your club you have lost a huge chunk of money that you could have made otherwise.

United sold him because he was young and they were paid a huge amount of money for him, sure it would have been nice if he stayed but if player agreed to go, you take the money as a club and they may never became that good again, but at least they sold him instead of him declining contract and signing somewhere else. Real Madrid sold him because that was 100 million they couldn't get and plus a ton of salary to pay him until he retires, it was financially easier choice and not like they are bad neither.

He simply costs too much. His salary in that period is huge and the club is betting on him losing form and a bit of quality because of his age. Sometimes it is smarter to go for a worse player that can bring back some profit than to hold on to an old one.

From a football perspective only, of course you do not replace Ronaldo. The problem is that clubs are run like businesses and money is a huge factor when deciding which players to bring or to sell/release.
