Didn't he get paid a lot though? So a pay cut can mean nothing if the new deal makes him get paid at the market rate. Who knows though, it depends on the contract and the point of reference when he stated a "pay cut". But yeah, the prospect of playing at the Premier League is probably enough to offset his salary cut, especially if it means he will have better opportunities to attract sponsors and so on.

Not sure if it had been discussed before but it seems like I missed new news about Joselu's move to join Al Gharafa.
Maybe this is the reason why Real Madrid prefers to release Joselu because it already has a replacement like Mbappe but I feel sorry if a reliable player like Joselu does not have a good future with a big club from the popular league and only ends at the Qatar club.

Joselu is really comfortable to playing in Real Madrid and when his loan duration ended Joselu doesn't want to moved from this team even Joselu has putting Real Madrid as his main priority and last season he has scores 17 goals in all competitions with Real Madrid besides that everytime played Joselu almost be scores important goals for Real Madrid and help this team to gets the winning result so in my opinion as substutition player status i think these records is very impressive and i thought Ancelotti will considering these records and will give Joselu more chances next season and permanent his status from Espanyol but apparently i was wrong about that because Real Madrid has decide will not used him anymore for next season

I don’t know how one can evaluate such transfers, Kompany is well acquainted with the Premier League and he chooses those players whom he knows better. Although I just read that Palhinha was supposed to become a Bayern player this winter, he even passed a medical examination, but something fell through at the last moment, This means that this transfer was in Bayern’s plans long before Kompany joined the team. From this I can conclude that not everything in the team regarding transfers is decided by the Company.

You cannot bring such a big name to Real Madrid without having players like Aurelien Tchouameni and Eduardo Camavinga worrying about their game time and future with Real Madrid. I don't see him leaving Manchester City right now, he has won it all for Manchester City no doubts but it'll be cool if he can just move to another League Competition but Real Madrid? They have both Kylian Mbappe and Endrick coming in next season, they'll both be joining the Pre-season in the next two weeks so they can prepare for the new season.
Maybe not for him, but for Real Madrid? They are the best in the world and they deserve nothing less all they need is standard and Joselu hasn't been up to the bar I wanted or what Real Madrid expected.

Nico being 21 years old IS the reason why he worths that much, I mean him exactly like this but at 30 years old would not worth this much, but a team who gets him would be able to use him for ten years if they want to, and that's the part that makes it worth this much.

It's actually saddens me to sees a quality player like joselu moving to Qatar's league when their are so many good clubs out there that would have come begging for his signature if he had waited more, though it's very much logical why real madrid never wanted to retain his services, due to the fact that they have Kyler mbape now, and the likes of Rodrigo can also fill in that void in the team, so what I sense in this real Madrid team and it's the major reason they let him go is that carlo ancelotti want to integrate guler more into the team, so I expect Rodrigo to play more as an attacker than on the wings, but it's actually a wrong move to me, because he is too good to go and waste away in Qatar, when their are so many good clubs that can employ his services in Europe.

I also see that Mbappe's departure from PSG will not immediately make PSG worse as long as Enrique is still able to manage the PSG team so well and get the other target players he currently wants. Now that they have lost their most important players it is now time to rebuild their team because the likes of Mbappe, Messi and Neymar made it difficult for them to sign other players and even if they do they will not have playing enough time. They say everything happens for a reason so maybe losing Mbappe could do them good and bring in other good players that will give their all for the club and maybe they can become good challengers for the Champions League.

It’s all about Money and the team is known to be good money spenders so bringing in players wouldn’t be much of a problem if the player is willing to join them. Yamal is a good player but the selling price set on him by Barcelona is just too much for any team to afford for now, i think they should probably give him more time to develop and probably for his value to depreciate a little. They need a top striker, the likes of Osimhen and also an additional winger, in fact they need to add more players to all departments of the team to build a decent squad.
