Napoli going after Lukaku is a power move. But this whole situation is delicate. Conte's got every right to be frustrated after that early loss, and they desperately need a new striker, especially with Osimhen's head seemingly not in the game.

The deal's tricky though. Napoli's playing hardball with Osimhen's price tag, scaring off potential buyers. That means they cant fully commit to Lukaku yet. If they dont get Lukaku and Osimhen's still sulking, their attack could be in serious trouble this season.

Napoli needs to make a decision, and fast. Either sell Osimhen for a reasonable price or get Lukaku signed. Otherwise, they're looking at a real offensive struggle. Its as simple as that.
It's quite surprising that Chelsea don't want Osimhen at the fair value and at the same time keeping Lukaku for no reason, this good offer might not happen again in the future, if I were Todd Boehly, I will do this deal ASAP.

But, Napoli can just sign Lukaku from Chelsea, so they will have two good strikers at the same time, this could be a good competition for both of them. If other team wants Osimhen, Napoli has a power to brag more fees.

I don’t still understand why clubs that are targeting prolific strikers are not looking at Sporting Lisbon striker, Viktor Gyokeres. He registered 51 goals in all competitions last season and I thought he was joining a big club this season.

In this summer transfers market where strikers and wingers have moved a lot, Gyokeres didn’t have even one suitor. Nobody held any talks. He kept scoring goals in the pre season games, took the form into the season, no talks.

PSG needed a striker but they didn’t go after Gyokeres. Tottenham paid £65m for Bournemouth Striker Solanke, who didn’t have a better season than Gyokeres.
I have a feeling that he might have an underlying issue that’s making clubs not go for him… but trust me it’s not a question of his ability.

Breaking news.
When it was basically done between Dybala and the Arabs, the player said no and it will stay in Roma according to the Italian journal "la Gazzetta dello sport".
This is a shocking news, only yesterday he agreed to a deal of 23mil per year and now he will stay in Rome for 5 mil per year.
you can check his Instagram profile for his confirmation.
Rumour about Dybala future has been appears in the last 2 weeks because Dybala probably will not gets the place on Roma starting lineup anymore and some people even believe he will accept the offers from Al Qadsiah because his agent and Al Qadsiah representative has been negotiation for almost two week but the plot twist is Dybala has decided to refuse the offer from Al Qadsiah and will be stayed at Roma at least until his contract ended and regardless the importance of Dybala for Roma i think the effect of this transfer is for Roma theirself because if they decide to sell Dybala Roma will gets fresh money and this is much good rather than let Dybala leave for free because
I think Dybala may decide to stay because of how well the fans have expressed their desire for him to stay, he has won the heart of the fans from his performance and dedication to the club since he joined them from Juventus in 2022, Dybala has become a key figure for the team, scoring 34 goals and providing 18 assists across 78 appearances, these stats is enough reasons to be loved by the fans and protesting for him to remain at the club.

if i am not mistaken Dybala contract will be expired on June 2025
This is true but their is a trigger of one year extension if he can play 15 official matches this season then he will be getting an automatic one year extension of his contract.

I doubt he will be on the sidelines this season since he is well loved by  the fans based on his performance and dedication to the team.

Another great news for the Arsenal fan. They have struck an agreement in principle with Real Sociedad and the deal has been agreed. Mikel Merino will be playing for Arsenal he was signed with 33.5m Euro + 5m Euro add-ons. A 4-year contract since he is 28 years old. Funny enough he has played with Odegard and Isak. And then Arsenal fans are expecting that after the signing of Odegard and Merino now to Arsenal, Mikel Arteta may likely bring Isak to the team.
Isak is untouchable and it’s been obvious so far as clubs aren’t going for him in this summer transfer window. I know he is the type of striker Arteta would love to bring to Arsenal, as he can play across the frontline.

Merino is going to add more strength and technicality to their midfield. He will give them more than what Granit Xhaka gave them in his final season. He stronger, decisive and more intelligent in the final third.

Arteta wants to deploy more tactics this season and it’s evident in the two players they’ve brought in so far. He’s a great player, good for the dressing room, his style of play will definitely give them stability and also improve the performance of Martinelli and Trossard, same way Xhaka did when playing around them.

Ipswich, who are trying to make good transfers in order not to be relegated in the Premier League, want to bring young players who are focused on development to the team. They are right about this because young and quality players adapt better to the Premier League flow. They lost 2-0 in the first match but they do not want to be one of the last teams in the rest of the season. This transfer will strengthen them a little more.
Ipswich left a good impression after the first half against Liverpool, but something tells me that this was only possible because Liverpool allowed them to do it. Look at how everything changed in the second half, Liverpool became much more active and everything changed, they conceded twice and they almost had no real chances to equalize, so their success will largely depend on the opponents, how much they will allow them to play. Guardiola will most likely draw a conclusion and leave Ipswich no chance from the first half.

Napoli's desire to get the services of this Belgian player is very big, they continue to try to complete a very difficult agreement with Napoli. Now they are really rushing to reach an agreement with Napoli as soon as possible.
It seems that Conte also continues to push Napoli to get Lukaku faster. Especially after their defeat in the first week of Serie A a few days ago. Osimhen is still unclear, but they are now pushing even though they have not been able to determine what Osimhen's future with them is like.
Do you think this will end in an agreement or will it fail again?
This rumor is very tough and might even be difficult to realize this season if Napoli do not quickly give what Chelsea want to get because after all for now Chelsea will not budge with the release clause that has been set so if Napoli want to bring Lukaku then inevitably they must be able to prepare around 30 million more to smooth their plans and Napoli are difficult for that.

The situation comes back in the end to the domino effect of Osimhen because if only Napoli make Osimhen's transfer faster then surely they will also get Lukaku quickly too especially since Conte really hopes for a reunion with this player.
There's still a week left in the transfer window before it closes and we'll see what happens when it comes to the future of this player.

First off Sofyan Amrabat is no longer Manchester United player because they didn’t activate the buy option, Casemiro is there but just as you Said the Brazilian actually did suffer with fitness problems last season and his inconsistency did cost Manchester United a lot, i was part of those who even thought he should have been sold this summer to the Saudi league to help Forster funds for new signings but he wasn’t and with his performance in the community shield and the first league game against Fulham I think he should have this year. Manuel Urgatte is a potential and with proper management could develop into a good defensive midfielder, I got a good look at him at the Copa America with Uruguayan national team and the deal seems ok to me most especially since it is even a loan option first.

Sofyan Amrabat did not play as expected by Man United, either because he did not fit into the English football culture or he could not adapt quickly, that is why Man United was reluctant to sign him permanently. While Casemiro was actually an option when Man United failed to sign De Jong at that time, although in his first season Casemiro played quite well but he could not be consistent in his second season, so I think Man United is hesitant to entrust the midfield to him, and that is why Man United is very insistent on bringing in Ugarte.

That's just it, they really need to act fast, and start being intentional about their transfer dealings, just look at this Napoli team, they are really short upfront and instead of them to still utilize the services of victor osimhen, they are busy taking him out of the team without even considering how the team is really struggling without him.
And as for their interest in Romelu lukaku, they just really needs to act fast, we are going into weeks two now, and this Napoli team is still not ready to compete, in my own perspective, I think that this is a higher level of incompetence from the hierarchy of this Napoli side, and this is actually costing the team dearly, so the earlier all this is being addressed, the better, because they can't afford to let this season to be like the immediate past season.

It seems true that the rumor some time ago that Paulo Dybala would go to Saudi Arabia to join one of the Saudi league clubs is true and it can be seen in this screenshot that he has left Roma's training ground for the last time and said goodbye to his teammates. It feels so fast that Paulo Dybala left Europe and maybe there is no other reason than the offer of a tempting salary as a pension fund in his old age.

On the other hand, Roma must be happy with the deal offered by Al-Qadsiah with a fee of 75m euros and this makes Roma's finances better to recruit other players or first find a replacement for Paulo Dybala before the summer ends. Perfect business and let's see who Roma will bring in later or if not it might happen in the winter.

It is quite sad to see a player of his caliber leave Europe so early to join the Saudi team. But it is good to see that Saudi leagues being able to recruit players like Dybala and make their league quality better. The deal is also good for AS Roma as you have mentioned.

But I feel like he could have spent 3-4 more years of his prime in Europe and tried to win big things. He has always been in the shadows of the Argentina National team. He was doing somewhat good as well in Juventus and AS Roma. AS Roma currently has two big vacancies right now in their team, because Lukaku and Paulo Dybala have left. They have already signed a striker to try and fill the vacancy. They have drawn their first game of the new season so things are not looking very promising either. But it is still very early in the season and things might turn around.

EDIT: wait wait wait, when I've written this, ESPN news just caught my eyes
so yah he just rejected the offer for good, and decided to say with Roma, maybe he is confused  Grin. whatever as a Second Striker its really good for Roma cause they really need strength in Striker position.

If we consider that Gundogan left the team after Roque's loan, we wouldn't be wrong if we say that Barcelona has become weaker. Barcelona must be in a very bad situation. I thought they were in a good financial situation, but 2 transfer news and here are all the facts. The bells continue to ring for Barcelona. Now they need to be careful and think about the team. Yamal is an important star but they may lose him in a year or two.
Releasing Gundogan to Manchester City for free is the best decision according to the club management, this big decision must be taken because it concerns the club's financial condition. Barcelona have lost one of their most experienced midfielders, but without offloading him to Manchester City they cannot register Dani Olmo for La Liga due to Fair Play rules. Barcelona are also trying to release Vitor Roque to Real Betis on loan, other players are also close to the exit door such as Clement Lenglet Eric Garcia and Christensen.

Barcelona movement to overhaul its squad since Hansi Flick was appointed as coach indicates that they will soon bring in new players. According to the news I read, Hansi Flick has given the green light to bring in Federico Chiesa.

Yes, Ipswich Town has made several strategic signings to strengthen their squad, focusing on improving both their defense and attack. I see Ipswich Town's transfer activity as competitive in this league. They recruited quality players such as Arijanet Muric, Ben Johnson, Jacob Greaves, Liam Delap, Omari Hutchinson, and Massimo Luongo. Ipswich Town are surprising fans with their incredible progress. Newcomer Ipswich has just returned to the Premier League after more than two decades of absence but is continuously facing huge challenges. In the opening match of the campaign, Ipswich hosted Liverpool, a strong candidate for the championship, at home and suffered a 0-2 defeat. Despite coming away empty-handed, there were still positives from the performance of coach Kieran McKenna's team. Next, they have to face the defending champions Man City, perhaps bad luck has followed them.

But the club's transfer activity has still shown a clear intention to strengthen the squad, and with a mix of youth and experience, Ipswich Town is ready to face the challenges ahead. Ipswich has left the No. 8 and No. 9 shirts vacant, suggesting they could make further signings while the transfer window is still open.

Yeah man, it seems I was a little fooled by the previous news and as you have said if Dybala chooses to stay in Roma and rejects the offer from the Saudi league club. Grin

It feels very good to see Dybala's passion who still wants to be at the top level, especially he seems to want to prove that he still deserves to be in the Argentine national team after the Copa America and then he was not called by Lionel Scaloni.

In addition, the extraordinary welcome from Roma fans when he arrived at the Olimpico stadium feels very difficult to forget and he knows how important the support of the fans is like now. What is certain is that there are still examples of players who choose their loyalty to defend one of the big clubs rather than just chasing a big salary on another continent.

This is extraordinary, he just rejected €25millon for 9.5milloin. Considering his age, it would have been a good deal for him but he decided to remain with Roma. This shows that he still wants to play competitive football and even win trophies. With the uncertainties surrounding Lukaku's future, Paulo Dybala's decision to remain in Roma will give coach Daniele De Rossi a relief. His decision remind's me of Luka Modric's decision to remain in Real Madrid even when he had a bumper offer from the Gulf league. I also think that the support and love Roma fans showed the Argentine striker might have contributed to his decision to remain in the club.

It seems that Ipswich is still continuing to improve the team. Ipswich does not only look like a team that has survived one season in the EPL. The latest news is that Ipswich have agreed for Jack Clarke. The Sunderland player will move to Ipswich for a fee of £15 million and an additional £5 million. At the age of 23, he made 27 goals in 94 matches.

This is the best they can do right now if they really want to survive the premier league for another season, they know most of the players they have are not premier league standard players and they need to strengthen their squad to compete and survive in the league. They already lost their first game and so they need to prepare ahead for the long season, they signed Armando Broja from Chelsea and now Jack Clarke who knows the players they will add before the transfer window closes.

What Dybala did clearly really surprised us because previously he was very close to the Arab club and his desire to move was very big, to be honest, I don't know what is on Dybala mind right now, loyalty or stupidity?
I think he rejected the attractive offer from the Arabian clubs is one of the mistakes made by Dybala at the moment, maybe some people will think he has high loyalty but when the coach can't guarantee him a place in the main squad this season, wouldn't it be stupid to stay and waste the opportunity to retire with a suitcase full of money in the future?
De Rossi has confirmed that Dybala will only be a backup for Matias Soule who has just been brought in from Juventus, but even so, of course we have to respect the decision taken by Dybala who wants to continue to stay at Roma at the moment.

It looks like Dybala is also a player who doesn't want to play for only money. It is good to see him staying at Roma. Of course he can go to Saudi Arabia one day but I believe he can still play competitive in Europe for a couple of more years.  Smiley  I don't enjoy watching Saudi league much. Because most players going there from Europe don't show impressive performances.

https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/raheem-sterling-transfer-aston-villa-33521531

Enzo Maresca wants to get rid of Sterling because of having no plans with him. I can't say he was great last season either. But except Palmer, the whole squad performed poorly during most of the season.

Aston Villa would be a good idea though. I hope Emery signs him. He might be a good option on rotation at least. There are many options on the left and right wings already there. Maybe this is why he is in a dilemma.  Sad

Extraordinary is when players like Lewandowski declined offers from Saudi Arabia. Here we are talking about less than 3x which he could have made from going to Saudi Arabia. Dybala has a ton of money already and he knows that the next three years are the final years where he could reach some goals. It is not very likely that he is going to win the Scudetto with Roma, but maybe they can win the Coppa Italia or have another good run in the Europa League. I think the amount of money he was able to earn here was not close enough to his personal minimum threshold. It is possible that he would have said yes if it was €35 millon instead of €25 millon per year.

If you compare this to the €200 millon per year that Ronaldo is making then that is still a whole different story and beyond that salary Ronaldo is doing it for business purposes and subsequent potential deals in the Saudi Arabia area. I think there was some talk about a paid ambassador role until Saudi Arabia hosts the World Cup. And Ronaldo probably has more freedom and flexibility than Dybala would have if he went to Saudi Arabia. I could see how Dybala loses fun and can't play well and then dumps into a hole and feels lost in that part of the world. He doesn't seem to be the kind of guy who would feel comfortable over there.

Jordan Henderson left Liverpool because he thought he could make a lot of money. Keep in mind that he left Liverpool and tried to justify it in a very weird manner and then after a short period of time he firgured out it is not the right place for him and ended up playing in the Netherlands. Ajax Amsterdam is not a bad club, but he could still be playing in the Premier League if it wasn't for his money grab move to go to Saudi Arabia. I think that more and more players have figured out by now that money can't buy them everything and if they already have hundreds of millions or maybe 80 million in the bank, it is still a tough decision to waste three years of your life.

The well known names that go into the Saudi Professional League have quickly become less and less. I remember how everyone thought that the Saudi League would now buy the whole world of football and everyone would go there, but it quickly became obvious that they won't be able to maintain that level of transfers and salaries for everyone.

The thirty-three-year-old player can still be relied on by Manchester City for this season, but I don't think Gundogan can be as good as when he was still defending Manchester City or before he moved to Barcelona. However, if it's just for the midfield position, I don't think it would be wrong for Manchester City to rely on him again this season as long as the other lines are strong enough. And for Barcelona who have released him, they can also look for another player to put him in Gundogan's position so that the gap remains strong and is not affected by the transfer of such players.
Seems like he did take a good pay anyway, I thought he would be taking a huge pay cut, like a major one, but he did not and that's a good thing for him. Dude was the captain of the team when they got the treble, so it is obvious that he is a very crucial part of the club without a doubt, and he is doing fine at the moment at Barcelona and he will do fine at City as well. Will he start every game and be captain again?

I do not think so, he is going to be at the bench, but I can see how he may start the games too, there is a place for him there and he could play, plus there is a chance that he could even get the captain band time to time whenever someone else is subbed out, so it's like he never left.

I think it's clear that he is loved there and he prefers to be there. He left for Barcelona because that was his childhood dream, and anyone near that age would have the same dream, but looking at the current situation, Barcelona isn't the team that he loved back in the day anymore.

I have a hard time understanding İlkay Gündoğan. Why did you go to Barça and now why are you returning to City? I don't think it will be a matter of money, but it didn't make sense for me to take a year off and transfer back to the Premier League, which has a high level of difficulty.
Most likely, he will be a mover player, not a starting eleven player.
Maybe he will be in the Premier League for another 1-2 years and then come to the Turkish League. As many football players of Turkish origin get older, they visit the Turkish league for holiday purposes. He will probably come too.

Gundogan went to Barcelona because City would not give him any longer contract than a season, but he demanded a long-term contract from City. The disagreement happened at that time between City and him, and he decided not to accept a one-year extension from City. He chose to leave as a free agent to Barcelona, but things are not going so well for him since Barcelona signed Flick as a new coach. This is because Gundogan doesn't get regular time to play in Barcelona, he decided not to extend his contract in Barcelona, then back to City. It's not about money.

Maybe he will be in the Premier League for another 1-2 years and then come to the Turkish League. As many football players of Turkish origin get older, they visit the Turkish league for holiday purposes. He will probably come too.

Gundogan gets 1+1 on his new contract with City. I expect him to leave after two seasons.
