Yeah it would be unlikely as both are RBs and needed there. Alphonso Davies... He would be an incredible choice of course. He is a great player who can help you a lot in the offense line as well. He can even play as LW when there is a need.
However he is chased by Real Madrid too as far as I know. This changes many things.  Smiley  Their name has a big effect on this kind of young and talented players.
Both Mazourrai and Dalot are good full backs with both having the strength to go up and down, this season Dalot hasn’t been himself and to be frank he his poor performance to me was part of what caused the sacking of Erik Ten Hag, Dalot knows how to set himself up at s better position but was beginning to lose chances which should have easily be converted to goals. He was the player Ten Hag actually used as his inverted left back and it didn’t work out well. On the other hand Nons Mazourrai has been impressively consistent since his arrival, over the start of this season Dalot and Wan Bissaka were the only two full backs that the club had fitted, Ten Hag going for Mazourrai has been meet with multiple castigations of him prioritizing his old players. But with the player performance I think he was one of the best signings under Ten Hag.
With the new coach not going to use either of them as left back and him not trusting the current ones we have the player that comes to my mind for this kind of pattern is Inter Milan’s Damarco who is actually one of the best in his position at the moment

This also makes me think, about how the change actually is going to be in Manchester United. I am pretty sure that the new coach does not like the players that are already in Manchester United squad. I am pretty sure that the coach is actually going to make big changes as you said. But does Manchester United have the money to make that kind of changes?

If they are going to sell the players that they already have they are not going to get much money because the players are not performing as well as they should have. I think the new coach will definitely have to work with a lot of players that are already in the Manchester United squad. Might even have to use the players that Manchester United already has as left back.

While I do not think that Rodri will want to go to Madrid and just being polite, I also think that Madrid probably will not want him as long as they have these players. There was literally a whole controversy about Rodri winning Ballon D'or, and Vinicious was angry about it, but even if Vini somehow leaves for another club, they still had plenty of other players that said something about this, so Rodri would be amongst enemies there, even the club itself did not send a single staff to the award ceremony because of it.

While I understand the logic of good player going to good team making sense, the drama there isn't really over and wouldn't really make any sense at all, which is why I do not think that anything like this could ever be possible.

Pep will be responsible for this, therefore he did not leave Man City and is ready to prove everything. Pep will not let this losing streak continue.
The manager is always the one who feels the most pressure, the players cannot be sacked, but the manager can, i am not saying that there is any chance in hell that Pep gets fired, but he has a lot of work to get his serial winning team back in hunting mood. The verdict on the 115 charges is expected in no distant time, i don't know if this is playing in mind of the players, knowing the verdict is so close, i am not saying City is guilty or that they will be found guilty, but i hope the mental worry has not gotten into the heads of the players.
I think Pep Guardiola is absolutely ready to make up for recent poor results which is why he accepted to extend his contract with the club even when he knows the club currently have a legal issue that might leave them playing in the second division of English football. I wasn't expecting Pep Guardiola to extend his contract with City but I think he had to do that because of his love for the club and his conviction to help them reclaim their position as the best English club
A few days back, when Pep was asked what if in case  Manchester City found themselves relegated this season, Pep Guardiola answer was "They will return to the Premier League next season" I don't know why he's been asked that, whether is there any likely possibility of finding Manchester City guilty of the legal issue against them. I suspect that Pep Guardiola's mind is already made up to accept whatever verdict of the charge against Manchester City would be. I also believe that Manchester City players will accept the result too, as they will be ready to start afresh, to return to the Premier League the upper year if they win the trophy of the second division of English football

The changes possible to happen only if Amorim sells a lot of his players. His club is close to violating PSR rules. They should have sold several players to raise money to buy new players and rebuild the club. The problem is that are there teams have interest in acquire his players?

His club put many players on sale last season. Only a few were poached by other clubs. The rest had no demand. This is the biggest problem that he shall overcome.

City will need Rordi back more than ever when he heals back, in fact there are estimates that he could be back for the last games of the season but I do not think that will happen. Remember how Courtois was injured last season and played for the few last 2-3 games?

That is what is expected Rodri could do if he heals back quickly enough, the possibility is there but the likely result would be that he will just take the time and come back next season, that's much healthier, when you do what Courtois did, we saw what the result was this season, he is gone again, it's better to rest and not tire yourself out the moment you are given the green light to play again. City will want him fully healthy, with Pep's contract extended, I think it's a smart move to keep Rodri and not sell him.

Liverpool is having good results in the Premier League and the European Champions League and Salah has been a player who is helping Liverpool a lot, which is why I am shocked by this news:

Mo Salah: Disappointed? Yes, I’m disappointed. Of course I’m disappointed with the situation.

I have not seen any sort of proposal from Liverpool so far.

source: https://x.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1860981235398386116

I know Salah is 32 years old, but honestly he's not old, with his current performance, it shows that he could play well for another 2 seasons, that's why I expected Liverpool to extend his contract for another 2 seasons. . But from what I see, Liverpool's management is still not convinced that he wants to stay with the team for more seasons. I'm wondering who would be the young player who could replace Salah if he leaves, one of the big mistakes that many teams have made and when they win the league, they let go of old players. I see that Liverpool also intends to follow this path

Steve Cooper's time didn't last long at Leicester. I'm not surprised after getting so many losses. They lost the half amount of the games they played. The expectations must be better than this obviously after having a great time with Enzo Maresca before. They won the Championship title in the end while promoting to the Premier League.  Smiley

Ben Dawson is caretaker manager for now. I wonder who they will bring next. As Enzo Maresca is doing great at Chelsea there is no way they are having him back either. I hope they find the right one.

Manchester United have money, but they spent too much and got no result, and Amorim will definitely want to make changes, because although I am not the manager of Manchester United, I also do not like the current squad, so they will sell those players who do not fit into the model of the new manager, so he can get money for new transfers, maybe it is not a quick process, but Chelsea acted in this way and it seems to me that Maresca succeeded.
Selling players to get new players is the best option compared to spending a lot of money but the results have not been able to provide any guarantee. This method may be the difference between the new coach and the old coach who currently has Amorim who has a more critical mind to manage Man United and get the performance according to his wishes. I'm sure among us know who will be sold and certainly the players who have been maintained by Ten Hag but have not given the best contribution.

Mo Salah has been scores 10 goals in the last 12 matches in Premier League so these records is proven his performance give positive impact for Liverpool and as a fan i want him stayed much longer and Liverpool should be give him contract extension but i don't know why Liverpool seemed to hold back and they don't want to negotiate with Mo Salah about new contract and this makes Mo Salah feeling dissapoint with Liverpool behaviour

There was some rumours that Liverpool actually want to regenerated their squad so they don't want to rely on Mo Salah anymore for next season so that's why Liverpool has decide not to extended Mo Salah contract and this summer Liverpool is more likely want to find new player as the replacement of Mo Salah and the rumour appears too that they want to bought Sporting player Viktor Gyökeres

What I don't fully understand about the financial fair play rules is what would happen if they did indeed get relegated because of legal trouble and then the Manchester City sheikhs would be willing to continue paying all the players those high salaries, would that be allowed or would they break any financial fair play rules if they had to go down in the Championship? I wonder what the baseline is there to determine how much it is allowed to be paid in salaries to all the players.

They will not be able to pay those players from their own pocket, players salaries are paid from revenue generated and they are not going to generate anything  near half of what they're currently generating. It's against FFP.

In addition, City could lose a lot of their income, i.e sponsorship, ticket sales and merchandise. It'd impacted the club's income.

In result, the bad financial might be forced them to sell their players as well. and this is also giving a bad image to the club.

It's gonna be a snowball effect to the club.

I'm not sure about that, especially as far as I know there has been no decision regarding the problem that befell Manchester City. As reported by several newspapers, if Man City is indeed threatened with severe punishment if all the accusations are proven true in court. not only will they not compete in the Premier League, but they can also be removed from the Champions League and the Club World Cup. on the other hand, the City camp claims they have strong evidence to support their club's innocence in this matter. if I'm not mistaken, what I've read, City is still a rich club and they even spend their own funds through their sponsors. btw, correct me if I'm wrong in this information. but what's interesting and at the same time makes me curious is Pep Guariola's statement, after extending his contract Pep said his loyalty even though the threat of sanctions continues to haunt the club. let's see what happens next, whether City will be subject to severe sanctions or vice versa. because, if City is subject to sanctions, the dynamics of the Premier League and even the Champions League will change.

Moh Salah performed very well in the EPL, even he became the decisive player in Liverpool's victory.  In fact, he should still be the first choice even though he is 32 years old. I read the news that until now Moh Salah has not received new contract negotiations. This condition has made a lot of speculation that Moh Salah will leave Liverpool. Liverpool's time is not long, because in January Moh Salah could get a pre-contract with a new club. The fact that I see at the moment Liverpool still needs him very much. So at least 1-2 years is a realistic contract extension.

I do not see 32 years as being too old either, currently he is among the top Premier league goal scorers this season, just a few goals behind Haaland holding the first position and it may not take too soon before he surpases and take the lead. Salah is a good division of the team, losing him at this points when it seems Mancity are beginning to fall off will become a great disadvantage to the team. If they are scared of him aging with a long contract maybe they should do it in order of extending per year, but as of his performance lately he still fits fully into the squad and will be the best contributing factor for them winning the league.

From Florentino Perez statement alone it is clear that they do not want Rodri, they can buy any player they want without having to worry about Rodri with the Ballon d'Or but that does not mean Madrid is interested. Bringing him to Madrid will only damage the relationship between the current Madrid players.

Salah at the moment is in a difficult situation, on the other hand he is still very consistent with his ability to score goals and provide assists, so I think he still deserves to get a contract extension even if it is short-term as you said, his age 32 maybe consideration for Liverpool at the moment, but it should not be a problem because his contribution on the pitch is still very significant in every Liverpool match so far, losing Salah could be a big blow for the team, especially considering his influence in important matches so far, In addition, no have  striker who is able to replace Salah role at Liverpool should be a concern for the current management before letting it go.

I don't wanna trust Perez anymore. He's been lying many times, and it was his trick to keep the deal in private.

Perez said that many times when his club was linked to Mbappe's move a few years ago. Now, Mbappe's a part of Real Madrid. I expect the same thing to happen to the Rodri once his contract expired with Manchester City. Perez only keen to recruit a new player for free, and he didn't wanna pay a lot for that.

Let's expect the same narrative to happen with Rodri. Perez denies it now, but he will sign him later.

From Florentino Perez statement alone it is clear that they do not want Rodri, they can buy any player they want without having to worry about Rodri with the Ballon d'Or but that does not mean Madrid is interested. Bringing him to Madrid will only damage the relationship between the current Madrid players.
Rodri like Florentino Perez said is a Madrid-born footballer and at such, it's expected of the Real Madrid president to show solidarity to the player while talking about him but he still was able to make it clear that a Real Madrid player deserved to win the award that was given to the Manchester City player. Winning the award ahead of Vinicius Jr or any other Real Madrid player was beyond Rodri's control but his indirect attack on Vinicius while celebrating the award i think is the reason the current Real Madrid players would not be happy to play alongside him so I don't see Real Madrid signing Rodri anytime soon

Who's next in line for that job should be nobody but Graham Potter who's good at handling underdogs like Leicester City. He will indeed be a good coach for them. I know they're not in the relegation zones right now buy, this is the perfect time to show copper the exit as he was doing a poor job.
I have read of the Graham Potters news and I was glad he's back. He is good at coaching underdogs but not experience enough to handle big clubs like Man United and Chelsea.

Liverpool is having good results in the Premier League and the European Champions League and Salah has been a player who is helping Liverpool a lot, which is why I am shocked by this news:

~snip

I know Salah is 32 years old, but honestly he's not old, with his current performance, it shows that he could play well for another 2 seasons, that's why I expected Liverpool to extend his contract for another 2 seasons. . But from what I see, Liverpool's management is still not convinced that he wants to stay with the team for more seasons. I'm wondering who would be the young player who could replace Salah if he leaves, one of the big mistakes that many teams have made and when they win the league, they let go of old players. I see that Liverpool also intends to follow this path

I came across this news today, and I think Salah has every reason to be disappointed. Not getting offer from the club he loves at this point means one thing, and that is a chance of him using the exit at the end of his contract. In as much as it is very important for every club to learn and get used to adapting and playing without some players, I think Salah still deserves maybe 1-2 years more. Allowing him to leave at once without even getting a key replacement will affect the team. We all know the impact he brings to the team. I hope Liverpool don't make similar mistake that they made when they let Sadio Mane used the exit.

Such injuries put players out for a long time, Rodri will definitely not play this season, even if he somehow recovers in a medical sense, he will need some time to get into shape and generally return to the game after a long time without game practice. As for the next season, it looks like KDB will leave, plus many other players who are now 30+ will become a year older, in fact, Guardiola has the task of putting together a new team.
