Manchester United missed out on a profile like Declan Rice and he moved to Arsenal. I wouldn't want to see them making tue same mistake with Anderson Elliott.
He is just the right player for Manchester United midfield, I mean replacing Casemiro in midfield. I have seen him play for Nottingham Forest and if he can show up against big side for Manchester United like he does week in amd out for Forest, we will go a long way with his energy alongside Kobbie Mainno and Bruno Fernandes.

I think Man United has to get busy in this transfer market as they don't just need atleast two midfielders especially the DM's but they also need a good and experience defender that can couple with Harry Maguire and even Lisandro Martinez if any of them ends up with complications. And for for the defensive choices, Elliot Anderson from Nottingham Forest looks good but is price tag of approximately £100M is not looking too exciting, it feels like with that price  tag, they can always try to push for Tonali.

Of course and we can't wait for the transfer window to open so we see what type of players each team will be signing. There are a lot of news and rumors about potential transfers which if it work out will be a very good deal for both parties.
I am sure Carrick will be interested in adding more strength to the team even though he managed to perform well with the current squad, so I am not surprised that they are interested in signing a DM to replace Casemiro when he leaves. Surely Anderson is a great player and has recently improved his game and proved himself in the league, he's up'd his game and will be a fine signing for Manchester United.

The provisions of his contract will determine if he did something wrong. There are some contracts that forbid the manager from having any form of discussion with any other club until the contract is terminated. But if there is no pause like that, I don't think Enzo Maresca did anything wrong. Many top coaches have negotiated a contract to leave their present club, even when their contract is still running.

The club or Enzo has not confirmed that he was sacked because of the claimed negotiation with Manchester City.  By now, Chelsea must have known that sacking the Italian coach was the biggest mistake this season. Chelsea's management is not very experienced. We have seen some bad  decisions from them in the past  few years. They failed in the selection of managers. Anderson's rumor to go to MU has been exist for months, but this moves is just unlikely to happen because MU is not yet appreoaching him. It's really disappointed if they let him go to the another club when they're having pretty good reward combined with play in UCL next season to attract him.

They need him to control the ball movement, and help club in defending since he can play hybird mode. He's the right one for that. However, the longer they delay the negotiation, the closer Anderson goes to the City.

I remind you City is also missing Bernardo Silva, which is also targeting him to be their next Silva regen. So they have to compete with City to get him.

A few days ago, when Alonso was appointed by Chelsea, I could remember stating clearly, that this might just be another repeated pattern, and he's likely to get fired very soon_{(probably in a space of 3-4 months)}. Someone actually misinterpreted me, and thought I was wishing the Manager and the club a failure, but for those who truly watch football, and who have been following up with footballing activities,  should know how terrible the Chelsea management have been, even without being biased. This management clearly don't know what they're doing. They're trying to follow the Roman Abramovich's pattern, but they aren't even doing it right.

I'm not a Chelsea supporter, but I was happy that they finally found someone, who could at least compete for titles, because the last time they experienced that was under Tuchel. I'm not trying to undermine his contributions at Chelsea but he only won Conference league and Club World Cup with Chelsea. Club world cup is understandable but Conference league? I believe every other manager can win that trophy with that squad in the midst of average teams.

The board justified their decision and it was obvious for everyone to see. Chelsea form dropped drastically at that time and everyone including myself lost faith in him. He had series of flaws with his game management.
