The summer transfer window will start on June 15 and it seems that many players will come and go from the club. The latest news I read is that Man United is very interested in Elliot Anderson. They want him as a replacement for Casemiro or Manuel Ugarte. It seems he is the main target this summer. But Man United will have to compete with Man City who also want him.

Source: https://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/man-united-transfer-news-live-33963488

Manchester United missed out on a profile like Declan Rice and he moved to Arsenal. I wouldn't want to see them making tue same mistake with Anderson Elliott.
He is just the right player for Manchester United midfield, I mean replacing Casemiro in midfield. I have seen him play for Nottingham Forest and if he can show up against big side for Manchester United like he does week in amd out for Forest, we will go a long way with his energy alongside Kobbie Mainno and Bruno Fernandes.
Arsenal was ahead of Manchester United then in the race to sign Declan Rice  and the Manchester United team wasn't in good shape too which I think was the reason why he choose Arsenal ahead of Manchester United but in the case of Anderson Elliot, I also think he's good enough to replace Casemiro but I hope Manchester United will be willing to spend money because Nottingham Forest will like to make enough profit off him since his performance for the team was top notch this season.

I agree with Delcan Rice decision to stay at Arsenal rather than choose Manchester United, but it seems that you also don't pay much attention to the development of Manchester United this season, because it is contradictory to say that Manchester United are not in good shape. That statement is very wrong and does not match the facts that occur. This season Manchester United is even better than before if we look back at their history.

Guardiola?s time in the PL will soon be over.

@David_Ornstein
Huh? Pep Guardiola to leave position as Manchester City manager at end of this season. 55yo Spaniard departing after trophy-laden decade & set to be replaced by Enzo Maresca. No official confirmation yet from #MCFC. W/ @SamLee @TheAthleticFC after @MailSport
https://x.com/david_ornstein/status/2056469434252882201

He'll be missed in the Premier League Competition. He won 20 trophies for Manchester City in ten seasons,  that is nothing but pure genius.
With his absence, i say Arsenal wins it again. They just need to improve and invest in their attacking department. i mean, two quality and pacy wingers who has pace and can keep up with the Premier League Competition.
Enzo Maresca was with Manchester City even when they won the Champions League competition, i say he becomes a success for city likewise.

Two attacking wingers would be a good thing because it would allow Arsenal to be less predictable and allow them to vary their tactics more. Then, with Maresca's arrival, i predict they can continue to play the way they did under Guardiola because Maresca has a similar set-up. He's certainly no Guardiola, but i think he'll be fine. It just remains to be seen if they can find good players on the market.

Chelsea's board are a bunch of incompetent people, they always bothered Maresca despite he helped them win several trophies with an average team.

I hope that at Chelsea they give xabi Alonso time to build a rapport with the players and above all to develop new leaders for the team. Players who can serve as role models. They should take inspiration by arsenal: ever since Arteta took place they have stuck by him even when things weren’t going well, and in the end it’s paid off. I don’t know if they will win the Champions League on 30 May, but they are certainly building something of very important. Xabi can do it at Chelsea, but it depends on the board, who have already sacked excellent managers like Rosenior, Lampard and Maresca.

Honestly it looks really difficult to bring in all these players for Enzo Maresca. Why do I think like that? Because Chelsea has also made an important move... They have brought Xabi Alonso!  Roll Eyes

I think most of the solid players at the team would be likely to believe in their future with him. All Xabi Alonso needs is time and full authority on future signings.

As far as I know most of these players are essential for Xabi Alonso as well.
Even Palmer alone can cost City for nine figures. How can they target several players when these players have long term contract with Chelsea? Don't forget the most important thing is that Chelsea is just sending a complaint to the EPL regarding City who poached Maresca when he was still under contract.

These transfers sound good to be true consider the situation.

Chelsea's management is not very experienced. We have seen some bad  decisions from them in the past  few years. They failed in the selection of managers. Despite spending a lot  of money, they cannot find suitable players for the  squad. Chelsea has finished  another unsuccessful season. Now they are in very  bad form. There is no possibility of their improvement very soon. Anyway, chelsea's squad is not weak at  all. Despite having many talented players , their performance is weak. Before changing  managers repeatedly, chelsea now needs to make big  changes in their management.

Such bad management is not only faced by Chelsea but also most other premier league teams.. so expecting that there needs to be a change in their management is very difficult because they are already so entrenched in the team and manage it in such a way that it only benefits their interests. but their decision to recruit Xabi as their coach is not entirely bad because Xabi is still very competent, even though at the end of his career at Real Madrid he did not achieve good results but maybe this time it could be different, let's just hope he could he can achieve good results with Chelsea for next season.

Chelsea board are the ones responsible for the mess Chelsea is in because it seems like they don't want to see the club progress. It's high time they leave the board because whenever, Chelsea is showing sign of progress, they come up with decisions that will paralyze the team performance. They didn't appreciate him so why are they worried or is it in any agreement that Maresca will not coach any club in EPL after leaving Chelsea.

Before changing  managers repeatedly, chelsea now needs to make big  changes in their management.
That is if the CEO will agree for the change of the board members. They lack the ability to know a good coach and they lack the knowledge of a coach but they all want to be coach when a game is ongoing by telling the team coach what to do.

If you read his post carefully and understand it, you will know that he's not talking about this season but the past season that Manchester United performance was poor. That made Declan Rice not to accept coming to Manchester United because a lot of players prefer to go to a club that's already in a good form than going to a club that's struggling.

Of course, Manchester United is now in a good shape and I believe that any players they're interested to sign wouldn't say NO.

I wouldn't be surprised by anything. If Liverpool spent half a billion in the summer, why can't City spend a billion or two?  Roll Eyes Especially after they failed to win the title for two seasons in a row and disgraced themselves in the Champions League? Besides, City haven't been punished for any violations (and it looks like they won't be punished at all), so there's nothing stopping them from resorting to their tried-and-true method of getting the title - throwing money at it.

Looking at this list one will know that nothing will materialise from that list. Manchester city will not buy a single player from that list. City already have a balanced squad and don't need all the players listed there. City won't make numerous transfers this summer, they will only
replace the Bernardo Silver and possibly John Stones. City's squad looks good enough to challenge for next season. Pep made sure he arranged a good squad for Maresca before he leaves. It will be a quiet summer for Manchester city.

I believe this are just rumors,  because I don't see Manchester City purchasing all this players in one season, because it's really going to cost them a lot of money, and also so I don't think Chelsea will want to sell all this players in one season, now that they just got a new manager and trying to build a team. It's possible that Manchester could go for one or two players,  but I don't think Manchester City really needs this players aside for Enzo Fernandez,  that's if Rodri decides to leave the club, because I think he could be a good replacement for him, aside from that I don't see Manchester City going for any of these players.

It all depends on the who will meet the players asking price and personal terms, both Manchester clubs are very interesting teams that could attract any kind of player especially as both teams would be playing in the UCL next season. Though the player also has a say in this and might be left to decide where he would like to go, if such situation occurs then it would require the player to begin to consider some vital information that would guide him before making a decision on where to go.

This season, Manchester United's performance in the Premier League is far better than in the last few seasons, I admit that. This is not a coincidence, but rather the result of the hard work of everyone involved in a team that constantly strives to give its best in order to achieve a single goals. However, this progress will not have a major impact on Manchester United, given that they are still likely to be an inconsistent team next season, even though they will be playing in the Champions League. Several top players will likely have to seriously consider offers coming from United. On one side, it presents an opportunity, but on the other, they are concerned that the team might underperform next season for various reasons.

I do not view the decision by several of Manchester United's transfer targets to decline their offers as a poor one. In my opinion, they likely consider various risks and may still wish to wait for other offers from different teams that could potentially be more favorable.

They have failed to win the league for this season but they were by far the most fruitful yet in terms of numbers of trophies won this same season as they were able to snatch two major trophies two although I know they would have preferred to have their hands on the premier League which is the ultimate goal and they are most certainly not shy about it when it comes to spending so am definitely not surprised at all.

The fact that Declan rice chose Arsenal ahead Manchester United was because Manchester United was not that serious in that deal, we all know how Manchester United will spot a player make one or two moves with no much interest then back off, so it's not big deal if he moves to Arsenal instead of Manchester United, he's made his choice and it somehow favors him at last, and we have to get over it and focus more on the future, this season is for Arsenal next season might be for Manchester United who knows, so to me this is not a factor.

You're right all the players I so Manchester City don't need any of them and they are in good form this season but is just that they don't have the opportunity to win the Premier League this season. And now that Guardiola is leaving end of the season am sure maraesca will manage the players that Guadiola leave for him and he can definitely win League with it next season next with it. Manchester City won trophies this season so losing the Premier League title won't weak there body much the way Arsenal will feel if them lose the league. Because if Arsenal didn't win the league this season that will be very hard for them next summer because other club will like to challenge them better next season.

Anderson's rumor to go to MU has been exist for months, but this moves is just unlikely to happen because MU is not yet appreoaching him. It's really disappointed if they let him go to the another club when they're having pretty good reward combined with play in UCL next season to attract him.

They need him to control the ball movement, and help club in defending since he can play hybird mode. He's the right one for that. However, the longer they delay the negotiation, the closer Anderson goes to the City.

I remind you City is also missing Bernardo Silva, which is also targeting him to be their next Silva regen. So they have to compete with City to get him.

IMO, he's only proper midfielder available, while the rest list such as Baleba, Alex Scott or Mateus Fernandes sound wank to them. So the better they try to pursue him asap before he goes to City.

Elliot Anderson is a good player with great talent, and I think he’s the right midfielder to fill the hole that Casemiro left behind. It seemed like Man United were treated to a real sight in the match between Man United and Forest, where Anderson performed  exceptionally well in midfield and seemingly keen to prove that he is the right man to replace Casemiro. However, the problem is that  Nottingham Forest will certainly set a high fee, and besides, Man City also seems very interested in Anderson.

Man City’s appeal is not what it used to be,  especially since Guardiola decided to leave, so I think Anderson  might well choose Man United. But the biggest  hurdle is whether Manchester United will be willing to pay a high price for Anderson

As long as the Chelsea board of directors don't rush to get the trophy because it won't be easy to achieve in just 1-2 seasons --- the coach needs to build a team for years so that the chemistry with the players is strong so that mentality and solidity remain strong --- on average now the demands on the coach sometimes do not make sense, 1-2 failed seasons are immediately fired, if this is how the team can develop if every season the coach changes.

Maresca will not be good, and it will not matter a lot, because City did not do well in the last two seasons with Pep neither, and he will be defended saying that the team is rebuilding and even Pep did not leave a champion team to him.

Of course if he ends 5th or something, or not even end, if he is 5th or whatever by November or December, he will be fired once more. But if he is second place, then I bet you that he is not going to be fired all the way until the end and kept until May and see the end of the season.

I don't think Maresca would be as bad as you are saying, one reason for his performance in Chelsea was the fact that he was not the manager of the club, he was just the head coach and decisions about players made by the top brass managing the club really affected and City's contract seem to allow him to be the manager of the club.

And saying Man City didn't do well in this past season and the previous is really weird to see as each of those season saw  Man City win a trophy, this last season, they even won a double with coming close to the tittle, so overall it's a big project given to Maresca

Honestly it looks really difficult to bring in all these players for Enzo Maresca. Why do I think like that? Because Chelsea has also made an important move... They have brought Xabi Alonso!  Roll Eyes

These transfers sound good to be true consider the situation.
The idea of bringing those guys from Chelsea doesn't go down well with me, first we have a lot of incredible players in Manchester City, Enzo can make do with what he has and give fantastic results, Arne Slot made judicious use of the players he initially came to meet in Liverpool and he was able to win the league with those players except for the next season that some of them left and he could not manage the new players he bought properly, so sometimes managing the players you have very well will actually give you good result instead of importing previous players you had in former club.

I wonder how most of these guys watches football for them not to see what is actually going on.
Enzo maresca was the one that made an average Chelsea team very competitive, and his exit from the club exposes everything we needed to know about the squad, and to add salt in their wounds, the clueless hierarchy of Chelsea keeps on hiring managers that are not good enough to handle a team as big as Chelsea, so I wonder why someone that is truly aware of what Enzo maresca went through as a  Chelsea manager will now be saying that he is a snitch, that is very disrespectful to his personality and as a manager.
Why is Enzo Maresca considered a traitor? whereas many coaches do the same thing moving clubs in the same region and they remain professional in doing their jobs, unless Enzo Maresca is still at Chelsea and suddenly leaves Chelsea without a clear reason and has secretly spoken to Man City management then that can be considered a traitor whereas he has been fired by Chelsea since a few months ago so clearly he is not a coach like that and yes as I said yesterday Enzo Maresca is a good coach but he is not really appreciated at Chelsea and as a result after leaving Chelsea the club immediately went downhill, at Man City he would probably be more appreciated and held in high regard like Pep if he could give his best for Man City.
Maresca was not fired. He walked away. He literally wouldn't speak to the media after the Bournemouth game. He climbed the stairs and essentially announced that he was finished. On New Year's Day, they made the announcement as though it were a mutual breakup. We all know who initiated that. He told the board that he has been "behind the scenes" with City while still coaching Chelsea, selecting the starting eleven every week. Chelsea is ready to take legal action over this.

Now do I think Chelsea treated him well? Absolutely not. They had the medical department overriding his substitutions during actual matches. They would not allow him to sign players that he needed. They were stopping him from publishing a book?!?! Like at some point I'd want to leave too honestly.

However, it is his destination that takes him down. It's not like you walk into City and the fans say "you're welcome. The "traitor" thing is probably too strong. But "professional"? I can't give him that either. It was confusing and he was well aware of what he was doing. City will likely like him, though. You're right about that part.
