Everyone knows not to buy at the top of a bull market, and it's looking like that could be
what we are in now.  It's kind of fun to play the top, but can be dangerous.  What are you
looking at for the next three weeks?

Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

The bull market will begin for real in 2018. We have seen nothing yet.
A three week horizon is gambling.

Definitely LTC and maybe DGB, but of course this are trains that are already moving. I agree with you, it's not really a good timing to enter.
If monero drops 10% or so in the next weeks, it could be a good buy.

Hopefully there will be a sustained rise of BTC in the next 1-2 months 1300-1400 USD, and that could be the right time to buy altcoins.

There is a risk, but i don't think the situation is that dangerous because it not just a whale pump and dump , the cryptocurrency market is actually gaining value and many investors are interested.

Some things dumped hard last night.  Kind of a wake-up call to be safe.

That's only because those coins got de-listed on Polo. Nothing more, nothing less.
And to be fair, they weren't spectacular coins either..

If LTC get's segwit it might spike.
Same with SHIFT if it get's added to Polo.
Maybe STRAT will keep rising, if that company get's a foot in the door in the English finance sector, with the whole Brexit drama playing out, it might become a valuable investment.
And I still firmly believe Ethereum is by FAR the best crypto platform out there, so ETH, GNT, SHIFT, etc. will be very interesting in the long run.

You know  if you invested $50 in Apple in the 80's you would be a millionaire today.
Crypto might be the next big thing and if it comes to fruition for sure Ethereum (and it's Dapps) is going to be one of the biggest players.
For now, it's buy and pray I guess.. Smiley

Come back in two years. Altcoins will be 90% cheaper.
