Now that MetaCo.in is up and we've posted our first deal, it makes sense to talk more about the site's future.  What bitcoin businesses would you like us to cajole into offering ridiculously good deals?  What non-bitcoin businesses do you think we could talk into taking bitcoins?  If you own a bitcoin business and would like to offer a deal, send me a PM.

It will help our case if you guys (and gals) subscribe to get updates and check out the latest deals.  I'm just sayin. Wink

I actually talked with Bitmunchies.  They're not going to do a deal now, but may sometime in the next few months.  Who else?

Businesses selling mining rigs seem to be very popular at the moment. I'm not a miner, so I can't really say that there's one in particular you should go after.

Still around.

Most of the mining rig places I'm in touch with have more business than they can handle right now.  Man, maybe I'll get into building rigs.

Alright in an effort to gain some exposure, I'll bite. Check out my site and let me know if I have something that would work with your plan.

We're probably going to start having deals EVERY DAY on our "daily deals" site, so we need more suggestions.  What other businesses?

I've talked to the creater of xkcd on IRC, and he probably wouldn't be interested, but if you could sell the XKCD Volume 0, I would definitely buy it.

 - Almost all the groupons I buy are for local businesses, mostly restaurants. I imagine it would be hard to set up something that local, but maybe you could sell gift cards for chain restaurants someday?
 - Really, gift-cards to any nation-wide business would probably sell well.
 - Maybe in a year or so, a compilation of the bitcoin comic would sell well?
 - I really like the minethings one you did today. I don't play many games, but I imagine that there are a lot of games that would like that kind of exposure, and a lot of people would enjoy seeing different games they can use their bitcoins on

Thanks! I love your site!

I emailed him. I was extremely shocked when he didn't respond. Smiley

Thanks for the ideas.  We're going to eventually expand into local markets, but it will take a little while for bitcoin users and merchants to become numerous enough.
