Who's going to be the next french president? Le Pen? What kind of changes she will bring? What do you think.

Kind of lean towards the more traditional candidate but with how Elections have been going I would say Le Pen has a hidden undercurrent to utilize the recent terror incidents have probably put some traditionalists into the law and order by restricting immigration camp as well.
Would not be surprised with either outcome but here come the polls

I think the entire world has shown double standards during The French elections, when Trump was campaigning and his rhetoric was mainly anti immigration and anti Islam, the whole world was condemning him, but Marie Le Pen is campaigning ok the same lines and no one is saying anything against her.

For the record, I've been dead against both from the outset, heh.  I would have liked to have seen Sanders at the helm in the US and still think the Democrats made a colossal error in judgement there.  I'm not sure about Macron in France.  He is a former bankster, so doesn't exactly endear trust, but he's still infinitely preferable to Le Pen.  Mélenchon would be my first preference, though.

Le Pen is the only hope for France. Other choice means complete destruction of culture and values within th next 10 years.

Pffft.  People are still so set on this ridiculous notion that "culture" is this static, rigid thing that never changes over time or even by locality.  It's such utter horseshit and is largely a thinly-veiled way of saying "I don't like outsiders with their own customs and traditions".  Culture in France today is different to how it was 20 years ago.  Culture in the north of France differs to that in the south of France.  Culture is an organic thing and will change and adapt naturally over the course of time.  Change will occur regardless of who is leading the country.  

Also, some, myself included, would argue that a Le Pen government would be a destruction of values, because we fought WWII to defeat authoritarian fascism and consign it to the history books as a dark period in human history never to be repeated, not embrace it with open arms and jizz-filled pants like some of the nutters in this thread some decades later.

Also, you can't blame some of your countrymen that they're aligning themselves with a populist. They're afraid and fear throws reason out the window.

And their government seem to be just sweeping it under a rug. When people feel their problems are not being addressed they'd cling to whoever promises to solve it and will likely stay away from anyone they associate with the current system.

Brit, so I should probably be more focused on my thread about that election, heh.  I'm alarmed by the swing to authoritarianism every it seems to be occurring lately.  If so-called terrorism causes us to sacrifice our basic human rights and freedoms in the name of defence, then as far as I'm concerned, the terrorists have won.  Authoritarianism at home is not the answer and nor is creating yet more displaced people by bombing the shit out of other countries.  The solution to the migrant/refugee crisis is not to wall up your borders, it's to stop causing such migration by screwing up other parts of the world to make a profit.  The more western countries are pursuing petty national interests at the expense of humanity as a whole, the worse the situation becomes.  Stop meddling in the affairs of other nations and marvel at the reduction in the number of refugees you create.  It's not rocket science.

So it's officially Emmanuel Macron on an estimated 23.8% and Marine Le Pen on an estimated 21.7% set for the final round showdown.  Voter turnout was 69.42%, which is remarkably high, but still down on 2007's unbelievable 84%.  We'll see what happens in May.

I think that it is going to be Macron. Some 30% of the French population is made up of immigrants, and therefore Le Pen needs to win 72% of the native French vote in order to win. Right now, she is stuck at somewhere around 65%.

Imperialism is modern Western Culture under a shadow of feminism and shaming through PC Values and the idea that this is modernism.
Mix in corporatism and the interest in making the most profit at any cost without caring about the locals and we get government policies that subsidize wars as at the end of the day the corporation can just move around so it's not so much a concern what happens in the local zone they operate but in reality it should be about peoples mobility and security as making the most profit possible for the cheapest buck puts development to the side hence all the resource invasions for oil fields resources and mines etc without the economic benefits and jobs trickling down.

The problem with Europe is that destroying a buffer in Libya with Gaddaffi is as dumb as you can get now its just a hole that no one can patch up and shows you reap what you sow promoting disorder chaos and civil war will naturally result in people moving to safety, cultural migration and cheap labor can come back to bite under the guise of lets bring democracy what is democracy throw a few bombs and send aid to feel better. Like that will ever result in a better outcome for the people it takes a lot more than a few aid convoys to rebuild a war-torn country. Your right however authoritarianism is reviving due to fear but if it leads to a Western Power War then we are in real trouble.
That said as long as it is handled we should be fine but weak political and economic structures do lead to difficulties.
