What happened:: On 11th April i placed some multiple bets on a single match with amount ranging from 16 mbtc to 19.9 mbtc each. Total amount was BTC2.83815.
But those bets didn't reflect any changes in my rank in the premier leaderboard so i emailed them to fix this issue (Such issue had appeared many times in past and they fixed it very quickly).
But not this time. Later when their sportsbook manager knew about my issue, he added a new point to their promo terms that only the first 3 bets of a event counts.

Remember the new point in their terms was added a long after my bets were settled. After adding the point they told me "According to our terms only three of your bets counts".

Who the heck in this world changes terms like this ?
If something is missing in the terms then it is their mistake not mine and it is them who have to bear the fault not us
I was not aware and was never told betting in such pattern is not allowed.

I also got an email once from a support agent asking if anything is wrong with my account when they saw me betting in this manner, I clearly replied that placing multiple bets in a single match is allowed so what's wrong with that
Then the reply from the support agent was like this

Quote
We just wanted to check that everything was in order.

We hope that you enjoy our Sportsbook, and we will do our best to give you the best sports experience on the net.

I even contacted their support agents to ask if this is allowed, and they also said YES. I also have the chat transcript of the chat which is shown below in proofs

Whenever a new condition is added in the terms, it is added for the Future experience not to alter the past.
If they change their terms like this to treat the past then I am sure one day they will say "We just added a new term which says winning is not allowed on our sportsbook, so ALL your previous bets are invalid and we decided to close your account for violating our terms "

Pretty sure you read my warning months ago: Warning! SportsBet.io + BitCasino.io

The betcoin.ag scam also added a new condition after a 500 Bitcoins jackpot was won and claimed it would be valid for the past! Cheesy

That is how scammers operate!

Aren't you one of the oldest players in the site ? IIRC you were defending them in another scam accusation. They are already tagged as scammers on the forum ,all you can do is spread the word about them. Please don't delete the accusation or move it to trashcan if sportsbet.io sorts you out by paying some extra BTC

Yes i am one of the oldest and regular player of sportsbet since it's early stage
I am not defending the sportsbet in any way, i only support the truth
If someone is giving false information about them without actual proofs then only i defend and ask for the proof

And i won't be closing this accusation until it is settled instead i will be posting more evidence to support my point as soon as i find them

They had problems withdrawing like 19 BTC of another player's bitcoins(it's on the scam accusation board too) and eventually they decided to return 15 bitcoins to that player which I think is fair.

It does seem like they're trying to take advantage of every situation where there is a big player with 1+ BTC involved.

They'll probably give you your rightful position in the end because you've got all the proof from the support agent, etc. But when you're playing at a legitimate casino you shouldn't have to waste time opening a scam accusation on bitcointalk just to get what you deserve in the first place.

Good luck in this, and don't play at sportsbet.io.

I'm just curious...what part of the item 12 in the terms and conditions of the promotion you were participating in you don't understand?'

12. Sportsbet.io reserves the right to make amendments or cancel the promotion at any time.

I fail to see the scam, they are going to pay out the winners of the contest so thats not an issue. It sounds like they amended the rules of the contest while it was running but as I've posted above they were well within their right to do so as they had a clause allowing them to do so.

Nothing to see here folks, move along theres no scam here just sounds like the OP was sour he was exploiting the contest to his benefit by placing over 100 identical bets on the same match to win the leaderboards monthly and rightfully so management of sportsbet.io concluded they wanted fairness in the contest and limited players to 3 bets. You can see the history that the OP of this thread won the previous 2 months using these exploits. Sounds like to me they let it go on long enough and I'm sure many players were complaining.

Just curious tho were you scammed or were you scamming the system the previous two months when you won 2BTC by playing 100s of identical bets on a single match to buy the leaderboard top prize?

First tell me are you blind to see all those screenshots which i posted as proof ?
I also had a suspect if betting on this manner is allowed even if it wasn't mentioned in their terms so i headed over to their chat thrice to ask the same damn thing and to make sure my bets won't get rejected any day. I clearly mentioned if i can place multiple single bets to climb faster in the leaderboard and they said YES. Does that look like a NO to you ?
When i clearly mentioned the thing i am doing then how come it became an exploit ?

What's the point of bumping the thread ? Community did what they should be doing, their account is tagged.Smart players have moved on to the other sports betting site.If they're really ignoring your concern, maybe you should spread awareness for your gambler friends who still play there.Recently they gave one of their shill VIP players a ticket to El Classico, you are also one of the oldest members, your concerns should have been handled diligently.

Are you a paid shill of these Sportsbet scammers? Or are you an accomplice posing here as their defender?

Or are you simply angry because people are calling out the scam?

People like you who defend scammers are just as dirty as the scammers.

Tread carefully or you will be red tagged soon.

I am also one of their VIP member and according to my experience of last 1 year, the SportsBet is not the same as it used to be before
Everything is changed. Maybe it was sold to some shill scammer
It was a lot better before

I beg your pardon? I'm a happy customer of their brand. I don't sportsbet much but the only time I did use sportsbet was on the superbowl after I had received a 9 BTC withdrawl from Ignition Poker so I placed 1BTC on the Patriots on not so good odds and a weird spread. Anyways I luckboxed as the Patriots came from way behind and won the game covered the spread. Immediately the funds were available once the bet graded. I cashed out and within 30 seconds received the funds. Anyways, as far as sportsbet sites go I don't understand why anyone would use their site as from time to time I've taken a look at NBA,NHL, MLB, etc odds and they are shit compared to other top sportsbook that also accept bitcoins. I guess one could argue a reason to accept lousier odds is that they always pay and its prompt.

Red tagged? Please, I've been around these forums since almost the beginning and never once sell out to promote any casino to get paid for it. I'm all for player fairness and I'm one of the first ones to bust a scam casino. See my many posts in BTC Casino thread warning players.

Again, where is the scam here? Please do tell me. Should the sportsbet.io keep the contest rules the way they are for eternity and let xinxark keep placing 100s of bets on the same match and win the top prize every month as he's done the prior couple months. Obviously that isn't very fair to the other players that may not have the bankroll to do that. He knows that to. Lets also not forget if you do a search back when TwitchySeal was able to identify xinzark setting up multiple accounts at sportsbet.io last summer to collect extra prizes or what not I do not remember the specifics but I remember him covering his ass blaming it on a roommate or friend. So he has a checkered past of trying to cheat promotions and while he wasn't exactly cheating here since as he's said he was given permission to bet in such a fashion but it definitely skirted the way the leaderboard was intended to be and thus why he was winning every month top prize.

Again theres no scam here, hes just upset they utilized their rules to change the promotion at any time.

I will agree with him that the VIP has gone to shit with Bitcasino.io as well. I'm not happy about that and so many things have changed worse for the player on their casino side and from the sounds of it on the sportsbook side as well. I begrudgingly still play there because I have never been shafted around with payments and thats a big thing with most online casinos they like to fuck with you and stall until you lose it all back. In fact tonight I made a .6btc withdrawl and within 10 seconds it was in my wallet. But you can checkout the bitcasino thread and see my displeasure the past months with their VIP program and nothings changed or got better. So no I don't shill for anyone but I'm overall still a happy customer of theirs.

I too wonder if there was a ownership change at some point or they just decided to stop rewarding players like they had with generous promotions. I hope someday it gets better again but customer service and payouts still remain good.

If you think they are scam then simple DO NOT PLAY there go find one of the other 100 sportsbooks online and place your bets there. Most sportsbooks are shady as fuck so dont be surprised when you get the shaft somewhere else.

@Trayber, this is not a scam that is why the title is "Scam Alert" not "Scammed"
And everyone has it's own opinion to see the pattern of bets i was placing but it was allowed and was nothing wrong with it
I am not asking them to allow all of my future bets as that would be against their terms and i respect that
The thing here is they changed their terms after my bets were settled and i was not aware of this change when i was placing my bets. So they just sit back and let me lose my money
I was also a happy customer like you of sportsbet. Even their odds are shit, i liked the overall experience specially their fast withdrawals and 0 confirmation deposits

The point here is you people should not let them apply the terms on the past because that would give them "Endless possibilities to scam" and then later don't come crying i was scammed

False scam accusations only bring down the btc community as a whole.
Sportsbet has already been proven to not have done anything wrong.
I wish they would offer a signature campaign of some sorts to help re-establish their legitimacy.
